Really scenic stop along the drive to Vail. We parked along the street and walked to the trail close to sunset.

One of my favorite little places to stop and enjoy a snack. Or I love it for little elopements for couples who want to stay in Summit County but need an easier to access spot for their ceremony and some photos. It can be pretty popular during peak days and times but great for a quick ceremony & photos during sunrise or sunset on a weekday and in the off season.

This place is beautiful. We did the hike around the pond and it was so much fun. Only bad part was the 2nd half of the hike (going clockwise) had a lot of muddy trails and we didn't plan with hiking boots and shorts. Otherwise it was simply nature at its finest.

Stunning place right off is the highway between copper and frisco. Fishing hiking and amazing views.

ONE OF MY FAVORITE short hikes. Maybe 1 mile around the lake. Beautiful views. It’s crazy how peaceful it can feel being that you’re right next to the interstate. If you’re traveling through, pull over, take 30-40 minutes getting some fresh air and searching for a braver or having a snack lakeside in one of the most beautiful sections of interstate in the entire country (no exaggeration).

Let's just talk about the beauty here... you guys. If you're on the Vails Pass trail, this is a truly worthy detour. We went here to eat lunch. There are many hiking paths around the pond. It is amazingly gorgeous. Couldn't suggest it enough.

We stopped here on our way back from vacation just to stretch our legs and enjoy the fresh air before continuing our drive and ended up staying for almost an hour. This place felt like heaven, I only wish it was closer so I could visit every day! There are great spots for fishing, a couple lovely trails and the most beautiful scenery.
