Rococo Ice Cream

We were just visiting for a girls weekend away and we were ready for some ice cream . We were welcomed by three smiley faces — Jess , Adora and Sonti . They said feel free to try every ice cream and no pressure to buy . You could tell they were very passionate about their job and customer service and teamwork!

You don’t see customer service like this everyday !! The ice cream was so delicious — some of the best ice cream I’ve ever had!! Everytime I visit Kennebunkport I will be visiting !

Also — the prettiest most elegant bathroom !

My husband and I were married in the summer of 2020 in my parent's back lawn with just a handful of people. Since so many places were closed we were limited to where we could go. We felt safe going to Maine. We found Kennebunkport and now it’s one of our favorite places to return to. Rococo’s was there and was a delicious treat during a dark time. The fun flavors, kind staff and nostalgia have kept us coming back for more. I brought my mother there - she loves it and has ordered ice cream for us even though we live far away.

My visit to Rococo Ice Cream in Kennebunk, Maine, was a delightful surprise. I tried the goat cheese blackberry chambord ice cream, and it was both creamy and delicious. The shop boasts a variety of unique flavors that are a definite must-try. If you're in the area and craving a creative ice cream experience, Rococo is the place to be!

Friendly staff, central location, good selection of intriguing flavors including 2 for lactose and gluten intolerant customers - even gluten-free sugar cones - yumm!!!!! Bright ice-cream parlor decor and generous portions. We had apple rhubarb which hubby swore tasted exactly like apple pie. I had the apricot coconut cream with cocoa nibs. No seating inside but 2 long benches just outside to enjoy your treat.
Loved it so much we went back the next day had the dairy free creamsicle chocolate chip (orange zest on a vanilla base with chocolate chips!) - incredible!! ❤

One of a kind food experience!! Freshly made ice-cream with a combination of flavors not found anywhere but here!!Your senses are on high alert as you wait patiently in line and you gaze though the glass to make your selection to flavors you never heard of and combinations of flavors that fit so perfectly together ! The oral explosion will leave you wanting more!! This is a unique and unforgettable experience . The staff Ebb and Flow to accommodate everybody's needs! This is a 10 Star ice-cream Parlor !! A Maine treasure!!

What a tasty ice cream and super nice staff.
We asked for a Gluten free cone and not only they had it but also scooped the ice cream from a separated bash to avoid contamination.

This is a must-have experience! Amazing flavors and combinations. The service was so friendly and they let you try as many as you'd like before committing. We enjoyed the lemon pink peppercorn, the sweet avocado cayenne and the matcha green tea ginger. Yes, the price is high and the portions are small but the quality and flavor make it all worthwhile. I never knew ice cream could be a culinary experience!

VEGAN OPTIONS!!! This is such a wonderful ice cream shop - a favorite before I went vegan for all the unique flavors. Went back today (now vegan) and was so excited to see vegan options! The chocolate chip was out of this world. So yummy.

Staff are all so sweet as well. Friendly service with a big warm smile. A definite must have in Kennebunkport.

Amazing little ice cream shop In downtown Kennebunkport. I had the large with with 3 flavors .
1. Goat cheese blackberry - was creamy and amazing. Would never have put those two flavors together! But well done.

2. Honey vanilla - was very full fat flavored with just enough honey to show up in each bite.

3. Maine whoopie pie- great flavor with mice big chunks of whoopie pie. Vanilla was great pure flavor. Obviously not the cheap vanilla.

Will be back again tomorrow night to try so new flavors since they are new each day!

Not your average ice cream shop! Flavors that take inspiration from all over the world, from sweet Cuban coffee with honey donuts to savory fresh strawberry and basil, Rococo has it all. The thick rich base ice cream is almost gelato like in texture and creaminess but the flavors are the star. I reccomend the ice cream flight where you can try 4 different flavors to experience it all!

AMAZING stop for a sweet local treat without preservatives and junk. got a petite mango sorbet mixed with cayenne avocado(bc i be hype like that) and IT WAS AMAZING. i usually have problems with most ice cream being too rich sweet unhealthy and overall nasty but Rococo DOES IT RIGHT! Best ice cream shop rivaling Morgensterns NYC....NOPE..these guys are better. Very friendly staff and great to accomodate the vegan.
i recommend the goat cheese, mango sorbet, and any vegan flavour. your legit not going to lose whatever you choose bc its all amazing. great job y'all!💘💖

The friendliest people work here and the ice cream is homemade (we could see them making fresh batches in the back). The options are limited which makes it easier to choose from one of the unique flavors. I had spicy rocky road (with a hint of cayenne which gave it a kick) and honey vanilla which helped cool my taste buds down. Would have loved to try the blueberry chipotle flavor but they didn't have it at the time.

Really interesting flavor combinations, including some going in the savory direction. Several vegan flavors too. All were absolutely delicious; it was hard to decide. I ended up getting goat cheese blackberry and blueberry chipotle. Some of the best ice cream I've had in the US.

Almost all times has a line. We passed by it in the morning, it has a long lines. We came around 8.30 pm on a Saturday, still has a long lines. We check the menu while queueing, figured out what we wanted. But apparently they changed the flavors daily and not all flavors are available. The flavors are interesting and delicious. Would definitely come back again and try other flavors.

Friendliest service! Great selection of exotic and tasty ice cream. It was very creamy, almost like custard and we loved it. We went to Rococo's after having dinner in town and it was the perfect way to end our evening in Kennbunkport. Thank you!

The girl behind the counter was friendly! She explained the flavors and let us try samples. The ice cream flavors were unique blends and well worth the calories! My favorite was the Goat Cheese Blackberry chamboard.

We ended up at the dessert bar instead of the ice cream shop by accident, but it was a really nice experience. Deserts were excellent and the staff was absolutely lovely. It was a nice place to sit and relax.

Update- new location is by Federal Jacks parking. They now have some outdoor seating as well. There is also an ice cream and espresso bar indoors- opening soon. Still great flavors! Worth the walk from the prior location. Be aware the prior location is now a different ice cream store.
