Plants Direct Nursery

We stopped by here this morning to get a replacement windmill palm. We were joyfully greeted by Mary to assist us. She got us what we needed, loaded in the car (it’s a smaller palm), gave some instructions, and off we went. This palm is to replace another palm we bought off of them in the spring. It did really well but unfortunately, someone poured gasoline on it and killed it. We had a good overall experience here.

We had a negative experience when we shopped at the Little River location recently. We decided we weren't ever going back there again.

In speaking to friends, we decided to try the 544 store, which we did today. We had the pleasure of speaking with Denis, who could not have been more helpful and personable. It's totally a different experience. We found something we liked very much, made the purchase, chatted for a bit, and got some great and helpful information as to why the prior planted item failed.

We hired Randy to plant 105 trees in our small community because he seemed the most knowledgeable and we felt the price was fair compared to others. They did a fabulous job. We even hit a glitch when the supplier sent some trees that did not meet the specifications we needed. Once I notified Randy all wrong trees were quickly put back on the truck and the next day new ones arrived still keeping in the timeline promised. Jon (job supervisor) was fabulous with all the community members who bombarded him with questions. His patience was incredible. By the time they were done you would never have known that 105 trees had been planted except for how beautiful our community looks. Not a speck of dirt or debris was left behind. Best choice we made was to hire Plants Direct!

It has been 9 months since Plants Direct had done our plantings and we are still completely satisfied. All trees survived and are flourishing.

Best place to pick up anything you need for outside. We get all of our plants here. They have a wide variety of landscape oriments to choose from as well. Everyone is super nice and extremely helpful.

So unbelievably helpful if you are a novice landscaper or if you are a vet but come across something unique. Wide range of plants/trees/flowers/shrubs/ornaments/treatment products etc. All at very fair pricing. I have gone to them with just a photo of a tree/shrub issue several times and their suggestions for treatment have helped my plants thrive since treated. A must stop if you need landscaping assistance!!!

Excellent selection of plants and great variety of large trees too! They also have mulch, gravel and top soil for a great price.

Fab place to get high quality plants and many other things. Staff is outstanding. Management is top notch!!

We are customers of Plants Direct Nursery since moving here in South Carolina two years ago. Love ALL their very healthy plants and statutory. Have many beautiful pieces in our garden and showoff the best in the front of our beautiful home. Their prices are great and their sales help is superior. Love them, love them, love everything about them!

As a landscaper for 32 years, I have dealt with many nurseries, but Plants Direct is the all time best one ever. If I have designer's block (happened today), they are quick to get me back on track with excellent suggestions, are extremely knowledgeable with the specimens they sell, and have a huge selection for me to choose from. On top of that, their staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Do yourself a favor, skip the big box store and come see them, it will be well worth your time.

Absolutely love this nursery. The plants are plentiful and varied. The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. Wish I had a bigger garden!

My experience with Plants direct has been awesome. I am building a new home and Randy the owner and Teresa have so much knowledge. If they don't have the plant you want they will get it for you. I went into the building first and they took me around on a golf cart to choose and look at plants. I highly recommend Plants direct for any planting needs

Excellent service, bought palm tree and after getting home decided we needed a smaller tree, called and asked for a smaller tree to be picked out by them. Tree came today, its perfect. Installation excellent. Very pleased all around. We highly recommend.

Helpful, knowledgeable staff. Some things reasonable pricing, some plants can be a little pricey. Overall good experience. Will go back for sure.
