I’ve been a home baker for 10+ years and have traveled and have eaten around the world. This place has some of the best pastries I’ve ever had! Amazing flavors and textures in everything they do. Attention to detail is top notch. There is usually a line, but well worth the wait. Great coffee too!

We went to try the pastries and we got a sample of all. Saturday around 11am the line was long but absolutely worth the wait. My family enjoyed every bite of all the pastries we were able to buy. The focaccia with truffle oil and cheese is definitely my favorite.
You can't go wrong no matter what you order.
Everything is absolutely fresh and it is made to be consumed the same day. It is stunning to have such quality pastries in the heat of Bothell.
Service is slow but very friendly and in an uplifting mood. Thanks!

T55 Patisserie was recommended to me and I’m so glad I tried this place. I ordered the yuzu caramel latte (so lovely!) and several desserts. Everything is beautifully made and fresh. My parents and I enjoyed everything, but the cinnamon babka was my favorite and would return again. Highly recommend.

I can remember when T55 originally opened up in ID. The pastries are as delicious as their original location 🩵. When they relocated to Bothell, we waited a few months before making a visit. It is super busy. Like previous reviews the lines are long. I do find it very funny that the reviews suggest the owner should find a better system when packaging up the pastries. There could be a better system, but I find it hard to believe a display case as wide as theirs, allows for 3 people to view while waiting to be next in line to order. By the time you get up to the register one would think you would already know what you want.

Our observation while waiting to get to the display after all that time meandering in front of the case, there are customers who still can't decide what to get. The lady in front of us took 8 minutes to slowly decide, because it was that difficult. Plenty of customers took their time asking questions like, "is there butter in your pastries? Is there butter in the brioche?" If one simply does not want butter in their pastries, please don't hold up the line and find a vegan baker. There was also that one person that needed to know every ingredient in the pastry, when it clearly is written on the cards.

I don't believe the service is slow, rather folks should be considerate when placing an order. If you really can't decide what to get, please step aside and let the rest of us order. It was a grueling process watching indecisive people hold up the line.

As for the pastries we ordered the S'mores Tart, Blackberry Financier and the Gibassier. The Blackberry Financier has a bold blackberry flavor underneath the mixture of nuts. The cake itself is fluffy and the taste of sweetness balances out the tart and fruity textures. This cake is phenomenal. The S'mores Tart is a different take on the graham cracker and marshmallow campfire treat. Don't expect any chocolate gooey flavor, but more of a thick coating of caramel underneath the marshmallow. It's a unique concept, which is not overly sweet. The Gibassier is a favorite. It's such a sweet and soft pastry with fennel and orange. Sounds strange, but unbelievably a great concoction.

We plan to return again, but if you are not from the area, be advised the parking can be ridiculous, especially here on the weekend. Get here early to get the best pick of pastries.

Ordered a banoffee choux, croissant babka, and chocolate cherry pain-suisse. These pastries are legit - the laminated ones are crisp and flaky, the choux was fluffy (I believe another reviewer accurately described it as biting into a cloud). I have been to dozens of bakeries around the Seattle area and this tops the list for fanciness, presentation, and quality. They are very, very rich so certainly an infrequent treat, but I will definitely stop by again if I’m in the Bothell area. I do wish they had a cafe style seating area so we could enjoy their treats; apparently they do put some tables outside in the summer but we had to wait until we got home to dig into ours.

If they opened bit earlier (and figured out how to make the line move a bit faster), this would be my default coffee & pastries stop on the way to Stevens Pass. Small but interesting selection of pastries. Given the prices and presentation you might expect perfection, but there is still a bit of room for improvement (for example the balance of sweetness and saltiness as well as crunchiness and softness in their kouign-amanns; compare to e.g. Left Bank Pastry).

Easily the best pastries on the Eastside, arguably the best pastries in the state (country? 😜). Let's cut this short. Do not pass an opportunity to come here. You might have to wait in line a bit but it's definitely worth it!

Overall still worth to try it if you are nearby .. maybe my expectation was too high for them so I didnt get the WoW feeling but it does look good on the appearance.. they only take out , no place to sit and enjoy . Luckily today wasn’t busy I didn’t have to wait too long .

This is an absolute gem of a spot! We arrived about 15 minutes before opening on a Saturday and there were about 20 people ahead of us. A little before opening, someone came around and took our drink orders. Our drinks were delivered to us while we were in line, and about 20 minutes after opening we were walking out the door! It seems like the issues with the line have been improved. Our drinks arriving while we waited made the wait feel especially quick, such a nice touch!
The pastries were absolutely worth the wait. The focaccia and coconut sweet corn pain suisse were the standouts and they were SUBLIME. Incredibly, insanely, mind-blowingly delicious. We look forward to coming back regularly and are thrilled to have such a phenomenal bakery so close!

Beautiful, meticulously crafted pastries. It's a bit expensive, but the quality is there, and the service is impeccable. Everything I've had has been delicious. I especially enjoy the various tarts. Since I only make it to Bothell every few months, there's always something new to try!

Ordering process is pretty inefficient - if you arrive at opening time, you'll likely be waiting for about an hour - but that may be intentional.

This is the best bakery you can visit. If you have been to SUSU in Seattle, it's the same owners. They knock my socks off every visit with flavors and combinations I have never even imagined in baked goods I didn't know existed. This is the absolute height of skill, ingenuity and presentation. There is a reason for the line, and it's entirely justified. Run, don't walk.

The Good: Amazing pastries with great flavors combos, sometimes unusual ingredients, and wonderful textures. A clear 6/5 stars. The drinks were also a nice pairing. Because of how amazing the pastries are, it leads to The Bad and Ugly (probably mostly a weekend issue).

The Bad: I wish there was better efficiency at the payment counter. Cashier takes orders/converses, then boxes pastries while customer pays, and then out the door. But could use a second person (just for busy mornings) at the counter who does the boxing while the cashier converses/takes payment.

The Ugly: Saturday morning line was crazy. They opened at 10am, got in line at ~10:30am with a line out the door (~40 people, but mostly couples). Doesn't sound like many transactions since most people were in pairs/groups. But it took exactly 1.5hrs to the cashier/pay. Luckily all pastries were still stocked, but we did end up getting the last order on one of them. I.e. if you get in line at noon, don't expect much left by the time you get to the front (which was the case the previous weekend we came here). I'm not docking stars for this since we expected the wait to be annoyingly long, but I do think they could work on workflow better.

Edit (July 2023): Still a 40-45min wait from 9:55-10:40am at opening on a Friday morning with only ~15 people (<10 groups) first in line ahead of us. Would go here every weekend if it weren't for the long wait in line - now we only go once a month because of the wait.

If it's busy, the line can be painfully slow. The service could be optimized a bit, but half of the wait comes from people gawking at all the beautiful food and not being able to make up their mind. Every pastry I've tried has been absolutely delicious. They also have some of the best coffee in the neighborhood. I wish they were open more hours, but I can see they are focused on quality instead of quantity.

I’m so happy this bakery opened!!! They use quality ingredients and amazing flavor combinations. It’s the same owners as SUSU in Seattle fulfilling the need of a proper bakery in the Bothell area. With each pastry you see the amazing skill with outstanding presentation.

There is a reason for the line, if you’re not the type of person that thinks great things are worth waiting for you can walk across the street to the other bakery that still tastes like the 1930s. If you go to any major city’s top bakery’s you’re going to wait. Tartine in San Francisco, for example, always has a line. The difference is this is the beginnings of a small business. People with a passion that took the chance to open up a bakery that just so happens to be one of the best in the area - if you cannot be excited for their success in this venture then stay away, and I’ll eat the pastries left over.

Friendly staff and some good coffee as well! The line can be about a 5-10 min wait but they do come up to you while you are waiting to take your order. Even bringing out your coffee before you reach the register. Than all you have to do is pick out your favorite baked good and your out the door. They also have coffee supplies, olive oil, pots, etc to purchase as well.

Everything we tried was the best thing we’ve ever had, honestly. They just don’t open at 10am as it is advertised, so even when you get there EARLY you’ll still wait for at least an hour to order. Very very long lines.
The coffee is also great! And my husband is a bit of a coffee snob himself 😂
Definitely recommend this place to check out if you have patience to wait outside. Food is worth it.

Was finally able to stop in to see T55 Patisserie! Definitely a treat. Loved the White Chocolate Blondies with Cranberries! Light & delicious and perfect with my oat milk latte. The shop is wonderful and full of lovely French mustards, cool kitchen accessories and bakeware, tea and most importantly, wine! Staff was warm and welcoming. Looking forward to my next visit!

I have been a fan of the creative team behind T55 since their SÜSU rolled ice cream days (still hoping they bring it back)

The new bakery is beautiful with a selection of fresh made pastries, a range of drink covering coffee, tea, and refreshers, and a number of items to browse in the shop.

Today we opted for the Crab Tom Yum Scone, Kouign-Amann, Banoffee Choux, and the Flower (their version of a decadent chocolate croissant).
- The Crab Tom Yum Scone was the only savory offering that day. I loved the flavor and thought it would make the perfect base for a breakfast sandwich. My friend was slightly less of a fan and didn’t love the inclusion of cheese.
- The Kouign-Amann (pronounced queen aw-mon) was delicious with a beautiful crispy sugar shell on the outside. It was a favorite with our friends.
- The Banoffee Choux was rich and creamy with a balance of flavors between the banana and salted caramel. Note, it contains nuts.

There is limited seating outside, though most people appeared to take their treats to go. Presently there are 3 tables out front, each with 2 chairs.

Lovely first experience, looking forward to coming back and trying more of the ever changing flavors.

Don’t come here. You don’t need the perfectly moist banana financier that is just the right amount of sweet and floral. Nor do you need that flower cream puff stuffed full of house made hazelnut praline with giant whole chunks of roasted hazelnut. You really don’t want this. Trust me. The ultra fudgy basque cheese cake and brownie with caramel? How about the experimental Asian-French flavors like yuzu and white truffle that both make you think of home and wonder what else goes well with passionfruit and pandan? Nah just stay home and eat a twinkie.

Seriously though this is the best bakery in Washington right now from both a flavor and technical execution standpoint. They also use very high quality valrhona baking chocolate that you won’t find the other shops spending money on.

But don’t come because I need to buy these pastries and there aren’t enough to go around.
