Ally's Riding Lessons

I grew up wanting to own a horse, not unlike many children, but never getting one. I was able to trail ride occasionally and take one set of lessons in my 20’s.
I’m now 42 years old and taking lessons with Ally has fulfilled a life-long dream of mine. Ally makes you feel right at home and takes special care to be sure you learn as much as you can about proper care of horses, proper saddling, and being safe while riding. Her team of trail guides are fantastic and the horses are all patient with new riders. I have the pleasure of riding Speedy when I ride and he always takes good care of me. Once I am in the saddle, I’m able to be in the moment with Speedy and the trails. Any stress just melts away. It’s the best self care!

My daughter wanted to go horseback riding for her birthday. She had no riding experience but I was completely comfortable with her riding at Ally's. All the horses were very well behaved and our guide helped us each step of the way. It was great to talk to Ally and to see how her business came about. It was definitely a great experience for us all and my daughter is already talking about saving up her money to go on another ride again. Great for beginners and experienced alike!

We love Ally and her horses! Best experience ever. Evie is a great guide. We love the horses and every one I have taken a ride on has been an angel. The lessons are great and if you are a beginner you will be ready to gallop in no time. I can not speak highly enough about Ally and the love she has for her horses and riders. We will keep coming back.

The horses were all amazing. Ally was easy to work with and a great guide. She made sure all felt safe and comfortable. A great time was had by all! Highly recommend.

Took my grand daughter as part of her birthday present. She was so super surprised. Her momma and I tagged one and had a fun time riding the trails. Great place to ride. Trails are in the forestry which is a great place to ride. My daughter started with the beginning lessons and I quickly joined her. We returned for the advanced lessons and can’t wait to ride a night ride and into the fall season. 100% highly recommended.

We absolutely love coming here. The ladies are amazing, the trails are fantastic, and the prices are unbeatable! Our daughter especially enjoys bonding with the horses every time we visit.

Ally's was just straight up awesome! It exceeded all my expectations.

There's no fluff here. Within minutes of arriving, we were on horses and on the trails, through the wooded hills. The horses knew the routine and made you feel comfortable from the very start. You feel like a pro while holding their reins on your journey.

You get a little bit of everything on your ride; walking, trotting, galloping, and even some small obstacles, while taking in the scenery. By the end of the ride, you started to get a feel for the personality of the horses around you. They are a family, and they made us part of theirs for the couple of hours that we were there.

There is nothing to think about here. This a is must-do adventure if horsebackriding is something you have ever wanted to try.

Always a delightful time. Tranquil and rejuvenating. Horses are adored and gentle creatures. Exceptionally affectionate. The individuals accompanying us, although human, are quite amicable and well-informed. They ensure that every experience is both safe and enjoyable. I wholeheartedly recommend Ally's to all my acquaintances and people I encounter.

My wife and I took 2 of our 3 grandsons on this adventure to get acquainted with horses. Ages 6 & 12 . The 6 yo was very apprehensive didn't really want to go etc. Once there we met Ally and the many horses she began feeding them gave both boys a Brush and showed how to care for them then explained the saddles and bridals how they fit. Next a short walk around learning to guide the animal. Since everyone was comfortable we took a short ride on one of the trails we walked behind watching. Both kids were loving it.
Ally does a Great job teaching and the place they own is a beautiful property adjoining Clark forestry.
Definitely would recommend this place for beginners and experienced riders.
Both kids are ready to return.

This was a great experience for our daughters. They had a really good riding experience. The instructor was super friendly and really knowledgeable. I highly recommend this place.

The hospitality was amazing. We went for our daughter’s birthday & they made it the best Birthday ever! They went above and beyond to make sure we were good. Can’t thank them enough!

My daughter and I went on a 90 min trail ride today and it was fantastic! Evie and Kenley were so patient and kind to my daughter who was riding for the first time. They took the time to answer all of her questions, which she asked many. When she got scared coming down the steep hill, Evie offered to walk her horse down and it made my daughter feel much more secure.

My daughter has horse fever now and looks like riding lessons may be in our future with Ally’s.

We will definitely be back to ride with Ally.

Awesome ride and friendly guides. Beautiful trails, gentle horses. We walked and also went for a short run on the trail which was really fun. Ron will adjust the ride according to your experience so if you're experienced you can go running on the trails a lot. Easy to book with them and smooth process of signing the waiver and getting to the trail. Would definitely come again!

I had a great overall experience. I felt comfortable in this area. If you know what I mean parking was cool. Abby was cool. riley was cool. I felt welcomed

Went here today with both of my 10 year old kids that have zero experience with horses. Had Evie as our guide. She made sure our kids were on appropriate horses and explained everything to them. She maintained control of everything throughout the ride. My kids gave it a 10 out of 10. Great people, great time. Highly recommend

The horses really friendly and the route was great, one hour of fun no matter your age or skills .
