Spicy beef patty!

I took three bites and went back to order more. The kick is perfect and flaky crust. Throw in a Ginger beer and you got yourself a small meal. Delicious taste.
I also ordered the jerk pork with the extra house sauce.
Atmosphere is more carry out. Dining area also available.

Wonderful hospitality. I felt welcomed and wanted! My portion size for the price is literally incomparable; not to mention the flavor!! Owen is a 10 out of 10 owner when it comes to quality and comfort. I got the curry chicken, cabbage, rice and peas. Next time I'm getting the jerk chicken. So happy I found this gem!

Food is yummy. Got curry chicken, goat, Rasta pasta, beef patties, and Mac and cheese. I did a door dash order, and one of the sides I had ordered was out but they were quick to call me and have it swapped to something else and even threw in the beef patties for the trouble. Super friendly on the phone. I'm kinda wimpy when it comes to spice, but this was all flavorful without being too spicy for me. Only minor complaint would be it's a tad more bone then I'd prefer, but the portions are huge, I have plenty of food to split for lunch and dinner tonight.

Food & service is always great! If you’re looking for bomb Jamaican food to eat, I highly suggest ordering from here. Most def worth what you pay (:

First time eating Jamaican and it was awesome. My mouth was watering when I entered the restaurant. It smells so good. I got the jerk chicken. It was amazing. Very large portions. Well worth the money. Owner is super friendly. Will eat there again. P.S. cabbage is out of this world

I ordered jerk chicken, cabbage, rice and peas, macaroni salad, and Rasta pasta. The portion sizes were well worth the money and then some. Rasta pasta is like a dinner in itself. I loved the cabbage and jerk chicken. Everything was amazing. Only 1 complaint was the rice was dry. That definitely would NOT stop me from ordering again. I recommend to anyone. I can’t wait to try the beef patties

Came into town and didn't think I could find any good Jamaican food. I was wrong. This place was so on point. Had the Brown Stew Chicken with rice n peas and cabbage. Fall of the bone tender. Cabbage was tender, but luckily, not mushy. Not one complaint from me. Had a good conversation with the chef himself.. good atmosphere. I'll be back here if I'm in Hagerstown again.

The food here is outstanding -especially the Jerk chicken. In a time where it can be difficult to find great food and great service in one place. I must say that Ms. Cassandra was phenomenal. She was very helpful and offered great recommendations.

Had the curry goat, the jerk, chicken, the rice and peas and the rest of pasta. Had an amazing conversation with the owner. Great service the food is amazing. I will definitely be returning.

Taste of Reggae is an excellent choice for I and I. Dinner was so delicious and authentic, Mon. Like as if back yard. I and I will be so irie after. Everyone should check it out. You can just go for yourself!

By far the best Jamaican food I've had in a long time. Outstanding and the portion of oxtail was the best. I was very very pleased. I will definitely be back next week and every time I pass through. Thanks so much.

Ordered the curried shrimp and it was AMAZING! Portion sizes are HUGE and the food was fresh and hot! The only downside was the wait time. This was such a great meal and I would definitely order from here again! Thank you!!

I have never left a review so fast as the one I'm about to leave right now and I'm not even done eating lol, no lie I will be returning.
This was my 1st time dining here after trying other spots in the town and being disappointed. I loved everything from the great customer service (she came from behind counter and explained the menu to me), the free sample (I didnt ask for but glad I got because that's what I will be returning for), the huge portions and the awesome prices for what I got which was alot, it's a must try if u haven't!!! They have 3 locations Wv, Frederick and Hagerstown I ate from the one in Hagerstown

I would highly recommend anyone looking for Jamaican cuisine from Taste of Reggae on w. Washington street.

My family and I recently visited and the hospitality was second to none!! Mr. Chang is super nice and the food is tasty! I'll be going back today!!

Enjoyed chatting with the owner while we ate our meals. I ordered the curried goat, my husband ordered the white meat jerk chicken and they were both well prepared and very flavorful. The jerk chicken came with a dipping sauce that had a nice kick to it and my husband loved it!

Great hospitality, great food, the owner cooks the food all himself and great support. Definitely need to give this spot a try!! 🙌🏽
