A local bait shop. It has almost everything we need to go fishing. the person/owner at the shop was very nice and he helped us to pick up what we needed. He also suggested a good place for us to fish. he is so friendly. the plaza has a lot of parking. his shop located where there is a subway and convenience store, it is so convenience to grab food and snacks before heading out fishing. his price is good. we strongly recommend this store!!!

I bought a pole for my kayak and asked for help with tackle selection. I couldn't be happier. I was rigging my setup wrong for years. I actually caught some nice fish with my son on this trip.

A great little bait shop to pick up live shrimp on the way to the boat ramp. They have a nice selection of frozen baits and miscellaneous tackle and boating supplies for that last minute save your trip moment. Finally, the customer service is always awesome. It doesn’t matter if the line is 5 people deep or you’re the only one in the store , they treat everyone special!

Stopped by this morning on my way to Fort De Soto. I don't have much experience fishing in salt water and the person there was very helpful. The prices were reasonable and he gave me pointers that helped me catch some snapper on the pier at the park. I'll definitely stop by next time I want to go fishing here.

The guy there was pretty nice. Their live shrimp was only $2.80 per dozen, which was reasonable. I bought 2dz and only a handful died after almost 12 hours of fishing!

I like the people who work here. OK they can be abrupt some of the time, but when you have a bunch of fishermen chomping at the bit to get there bait and out on the water, the staff don't always have time for pleasantries. Saying that, good selection of bait, equipment and expertise, I like going there and will continue to go there, as they do the best freshly deceased shrimp in town.

Great bait shop with decent prices. They have any type of tackle you may need or want. And have a good selection of rods and reels if you don't have them at prices that are pretty reasonable considering the convenience.

Probably the best bait shop to hit if you are camping at Desoto. Even when summer shrimp are hard to find, they had 'em. Thanks, fellas.

We always stop here for our bait on our way out to Ft. Desoto. The staff here is always friendly and accommodating. Also they always have bait and are never out which doesn't seem like a big deal but a lot of others places are always out. They also have any other missing fishing gear you may have forgotten at home.

Camping at Fort DeSoto last week. Stopped in here to get some bait & tackle and any local pointers we could get. The gentleman working there told us of some hot spots to fish from our canoe, which type of tackle to use, and sold us some live shrimp - even threw in several dead ones for free. We paddled out to the spot he told us to, and got bites on 9 out of 10 casts. We must have caught around 18 fish using 2 dozen shrimp. Sorry we didn't get back to thank him in person!

Great shop for live bait or artificial. Stopped in for some fishing supplies and left with a boat load of knowledge for fishing in this area. Capt.Claude Hinson was a big help. Now maybe thanks to Claude we have a better chance of catching fish. Thanks Claude.

What we've all known as Bait Bucket closed, changed name, and reopened as Tierra Verde Bait and Tackle in the same great location south of the bridge. They have the same great bait and people.
