MOSA Certified Organic

They are very professional and they understand the needs of their customers well. Everytime I have contacted them they always have given me good guidance. I highly recommend them.

I have certified with them for over 5 years. Every year they seem to be more difficult to work with. They want answers immediately from you but will take a very long time to get things done on their end. They seem to make up their own rules and threaten you if you do not have your entire farm in organic status. They send nasty-grams when they need you to get them some paperwork on any minor detail which is non-significant but they send you a harshly worded letter. Even though you're always having to update paperwork with renting farms and such, instead of the first notice being nice, they immediately threaten to pull certification. I would not recommend them unless you enjoy doing four times more paperwork than necessary, getting constantly harassed, and love opening up letters with negative intent!

Tried doing my input on their website. Waste of time, nothing works out. I will do the hand-written, real paper process. The website is confusing at best and is poorly organized.

I have certified with MOSA for 3 years,this company is awful to work with. It is difficult to get answers to important questions. Then they will penalize you for using non approved materials, when they wont answer when you email them and ask if they are acceptable to use or not. In 3 years I keep being sent to a different correspondent every year so I dont think they retain many employees from year to year making getting answers even harder. If I could go back I never would have used this company's service and I urge you to look elsewhere.

I applied to MOSA for organic certification, I filled all paperwork and pay 830 dollars. MOSA refused to certify me after going over my paperwork because of lack of informations but kept almost all my money.
This is unfair, I should be reimbursed.If they can’t provide the service, they should reimburse me

Horrible company. Use EcoCert or Bay State as better alternative.
