Very professional and friendly staff, we reserved violin and the very next day they made that instrument ready for us to pick up. This shop has good workshop, maintenance crew, tuned the instrument before delivery. Their website is very informative, easy to register and reserve instrument. Also received communications in email on time. I recommend this place for any music lovers. Have fun learning!

We rented my son's violin from Dallas Strings in Allen, TX. My son had never played an instrument; however, he joined the Orchestra in Middle School. He was behind one year because of Covid and was included with 2nd year students. That said, he broke a lot of strings in his first year. Dallas Strings was ALWAYS helpful and available to fix it and very customer friendly! I would recommend them to anyone that is looking for an orchestra instrument or needs repairs on their current instrument!

It's time to return our son's cello after seven years renting from Dallas Strings. I was excited to visit this facility to find out how much credit we had earned. The owner, Ron Gilbert, met with us personally and gave us a tour. He showed us around and answered all of our questions. We were very pleased to find out that the beautiful cello that our son had grown up with was ours at no additional cost. We are grateful for the service provided by Dallas Strings over the past seven years. Thank you, Mr. Gilbert!

They're very helpful here, friendly and knowledgeable. Not much else to say. They're tucked away behind some buildings so follow the little signs to find them.

Dallas Strings did a super nice setup on my bass and the improvements in both sound and playability were very apparent. I would highly recommend their shop to get the most out of your instrument!

Took a cello here for a bridge replacement and tuning. They were professional and completed the bridge repair in 2 days. Best price of the shops I called around in north Dallas. Would definitely recommend if you need some repairs on your string instrument.

I am an adult beginner learning to play cello and outgrew my cheap one. At my instructor's recommendation, I came to Dallas Strings to rent a better one until I could save up to buy new. The price was extremely reasonable considering the quality of the rental instrument and bow, as well as the free maintenance offered at their store. I broke a string a few days after signing my rental contract and was worried they would look down on me. Instead the gentleman at the front desk was polite, didn't judge me, and replaced the missing string in minutes. Cant recommend this place enough.

Always helpful when we needed to trade out rentals or answer any questions about our instrument and account. They have a repair shop on site too.

We are highly satisfied with the quality of product and service at Dallas Strings. My son was able to try out different cellos in search for his perfect upgrade. We had privacy, we were not rushed and found the perfect cello for my son within our price range.

We had a great experience! The customer representative was friendly and knowledgeable which was the best part! The rental contract is reasonable and a much better deal than other local stores. I wish we had come here when we first started the violin.

My family and I just had THE BEST experience at Dallas Strings today. Our son plays bass and the new Walnut Grove HS orchestra director told us to check out Dallas Strings. Mr. Gilbert met us at the door and helped us find the right size bass. He was patient and very knowledgeable. Prices are so much better than other places in the Frisco area that we've used AND the service way surpasses other places in the area. We noticed all the employees headed to the front door when they heard someone come in and greeted them right away. Mr. Gilbert was super kind and we see why all his employees have been there 10+ years. We won't go any where else now. Check them out! Thanks Mr. Gilbert!

My son got his violin rented from them and one of the String was broken and needed to be replaced. They supposed to open at 11 am on Saturday but they allowed us to be in early and the young employee fixed it within few minutes. He greet us with respect and attend us very promptly.

Such a helpful, pleasant staff and an overall positive experience. If your kid is in orchestra, you're essentially a 'captive audience' if you will, but the staff always makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Great place and people.

Very nice shop. Friendliest music store I have been in years. Did a great repair job on my bass. Reasonable rates. Definitely recommend to all level of string musician. They treat everyone like a pro musician.

My daughter has rented a viola through school since 6th grade. Now that she graduated HS, we visited Dallas Strings to buy a viola so she could keep on playing. We emailed the store telling them of our intentions and when we would stop by. When we arrived Mr. Gilbert help us right away and had my daughter try two violas, she played it for a little while and decided on what size was right for her. When it was time to pay, Mr. Gilbert told us we had enough credit to get the viola! Tears came to my eyes, I was not expecting that. Mr. Gilbert just thanked us for being customers for all these years.
Now my daughter has a very nice viola to continue her music education and we know we can count on Dallas Strings for great professional and courteous service.
