Locals Collective NYC

They nicest people work here and it's a great place to meet with friends or work on your computer. The food and drinks are SO good! We had the breakfast sandwich, vegan cookie, mint lemonade and several coffee drinks. They also have surfing merch since it's a surf school. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

This has the best granola flapjack thing I’ve ever had. Whenever I think about Rockaway the image is of me super excited for my coffee and granola bar.. Then the beach lol. I just love this place so much.

Great little spot to stop for breakfast or coffee before or after catching some waves. 🏄🏻‍♀ You also may see lots of customers working on their computer while enjoying a brew. The breakfast burrito is the bomb, avacado toast is delicious and there is a large selection of coffee and espresso options. No need for Starbucks when you have Locals Collective....👍🏻

Must visit! I spend a lot of time in coffee shops and Locals Collective instantly became a quick favorite. The owners are so warm and welcoming, and have built a super high-quality coffee and food menu in a gorgeous, fresh, clean space. The menu is also very dietary restriction/allergy friendly - non-dairy milks, vegan pastries and healthy options. There is plenty of room to sit and work. I highly recommend the matcha latte with oat milk.

Came to Rockaway to watch the sunrise and had to find a good coffee spot. Glad we discovered this one. Nice vibe, good coffee, great food ( acai bowl and Sammy) and cool setup. See you next time!

The breakfast burritos are so good - worth every penny - they even wrote my name on hot sauce with it.

The ambiance is nice and spacious. You can breathe while you have your coffee.

The staff is very helpful, and yet super efficient.

This is in a great location right off the boardwalk.

The baked goods are mostly made in house and the coffee was very enjoyable. Its a block from the train station and a block from the beach. Staff and patrons were friendly... plenty of electrical outlets for computer work. I'd definately re-visit!!

This place is great! As a person who surfs, there could not be a better place for your tea/coffee fix that is this close to the beach - the food is great too. The people who work here are fantastic, they are laid back. The place has energy; you will leave better than when you came in.

As a solar salesperson, I spend lots of time on the road, parking is not a problem and the restroom is always clean.

I love this place, its proximity to the train and beach, and its positive atmosphere. All of the employees are super-friendly, but one young woman in particular took time to make sure I had everything I needed once I was seated and told me how happy she is at her job. Also love the space's minimalist and thoughtful design. It's open and welcoming to everyone.

Love this place. Great mix of beach and community feel. Delicious food, great coffee and drinks and they have a board store next door. How much better does it get. Wish I had one of those near home.

From the minute you walk in the vibe is amazing, and the smell pulls you even more. It’s a great spot , to slip away to and wind down. I went in for a gift card and the customer service was awesome. Growing up in the Rockaway’s this spot is a first, honestly it’s a community within itself, you instantly feel welcomed and not an urge to leave like at some spots. Since I’m currently living in FL, the peacefulness of Locals Collective made me feel right at home . So go grab some coffee, or one of their menu items and enjoy the escape. What a great new gem to the Rockaways.
