Fred, through the decades has assembled an incredible collection of rugs and is able to tell you the story of each one. Few are as knowledgeable and enthusiastic about rugs as Fred, who will spend hours with you finding the perfect match. Cannot recommend enough this gem of a store.

There are rug stores and then there is the Antique Knot. Fred and his team are the epitome of quality and even more so on service. I've purchased 3 rugs from them out of state and the service was so good i've had my other rugs sent to him for cleaning and repairs as well. i've had my rugs cleaned over the years by many and have never seen any come back as clean and vibrant as when The Antique Knot organically hand cleans them. As for the knowledge of the weavings/rugs, no one holds a candle to the Antique Knot when it comes to truly understanding what you're buying and the region(s) in which they were woven. There is never a question that the piece I'm buying is authentic in any sense of the word. i've bought rugs before where the owner told me one thing as if i wouldn't know OR they themselves had no idea about the rug only to find out the story, age, dyes, etc were all inaccurate. Fred is a true professional and scholar when it comes to the art of all things oriental carpets and when he tells you about a rug, you can trust it's accurate. I will be back and already have a few more rugs i'm thinking about. Thank you to The Antique Knot for being true professionals and educators in this field. I'm now a lifetime customers because when the highest level of customer service coupled with the highest quality of rugs at a fair price intersect it's hard to go elsewhere.

This place is amazing! Fredrick is incredibly knowledgeable. We left with more than just a beautiful rug, but with a ton of knowledge. If you're looking for a one of a kind, unique rug for your space, this is the spot.
