Vincenzo's Italian Restaurant & Gelato

I have been telling my wife that we needed to try out Vincenzo's for awhile. We had the opportunity last week to try it out. She said that she thinks this is her new favorite restaurant. The food was delicious! We will definitely be back!

The first time I had Vincenzo's was a few months ago at a function they catered for my son's school, and it was pretty good!

Today, I was in the mood for some Italian food and remembered how good the food was at the school. So I ordered Stuffed Shells and Baked Ziti w/ meat sauce and meatballs. The food was excellent. Everything was fresh and hot. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be back for sure!!! My husband and I came across this lovely little restaurant while out on date night. The food was amazing, the service was fantastic, the staff had a lot of good energy and positivity. Will definitely be going there again. Oh and the booth seating is so soft and comfortable was great for my spinal fused lower back. Would definitely recommend

First time here, not the last! Great spot to bring a date. Service was great, lasagna and shrimp Alfredo were delicious!

A little floppy. Excellent crust flavor. Could have used a little more crisp. Decent ratio of sauce to cheese. Would have liked to see less crust around the edges. Sauce could have a little more tang/flavor. Maybe just lacking a bit of salt. Overall 6.4

OMG, I simply love this place!! Best Italian, Family owned restaurant in Dover!! The atmosphere the staff and the food are Fabulous!! They treat me like I'm part of the Family ❤😄! Many Thanks to Vincent for his hard work, perseverance and dedication to his patrons!!!

Great service and one of the best side salads I've had in recent years. Marsala sauce very good. Lunch choices for smaller portion pastas, for which I am grateful. Also lots of choices for sandwiches and pizza. Want to try the bruschetta next

Very pleased with our lunch! I should say lunches, plural, because we are walking away with plenty of delicious leftovers. My husband had the calzone ,and I had chicken Parmigiano, both delicious. We will definitely come back soon! Our waitress was lovely!

I had a very good experience yesterday at Vincenzo's for lunch. I had a chicken cheese steak and salad and my friend had a personal pan pizza. Both were delicious. Our server was perfect and the atmosphere was bright and comfortable. I am looking forward to visiting again.

Food, drinks and service were all excellent. The Mrs. loved the lemonciello Smith Island cake. We will return.

Got the chicken parm. Was excellent. Actual chicken breast, perfectly cooked tender. None of that chicken finger nonsense lol. Highly recommend. Wait staff was very busy but took the time to be personal.

We were on a mission to find Italian food and good pizza. I like pizza fresh out of the oven. We ordered a large plain pizza, 2 chicken Parmigiana entrees, 2 fountain drinks and 2 desserts. Bread and salad come with the entree's. The pizza came out hot, just like I like it. Crust was crispy and cheese gooey and delicious. The sauce was perfect and not watered down. We will be ordering pizza from them again. The chicken Parm came with 3 pieces of chicken and about a half pound of pasta. One of the best chicken Parms I've had in awhile. The sauce definitely the dish delicious! The salads could have used some cheese but were fresh and crisp. We ended the meal with a lemon cello and pistachio Gelatos, which were very good. They also have an assortment of cakes.

I was in a jam as I had ordered food from another restaurant for a meeting, and they canceled my order 1 hour before it was to be delivered, I called Vincenzo, and wow is all I can say! they went above and beyond for me, and the pizza is out of this world. Everyone at the meeting raved about it and asked where the pies came from. Even though it caused stress, im happy the other restaurant canceled as I have found my new go-to spot!

Michelle our server and Cindy our bartender were excellent! The red sauce was exceptional. I highly recommend the food and the service here - you will not be disappointed. Rock on.

We had the pleasure of dining in at this lovely place. The food was excellent. Compliments to the chef who made my eggplant parm and spaghetti to perfection. The sauce was perfect and my daughter had the fortune of having gluten free shells that she said were amazing. The crab soup was enjoyed by my son in law along with chicken and fries. To top it off she was so pleased that there was a gluten free cake for dessert. The wait staff couldn't be more efficient and friendly and went out of their way to make us enjoy the meal even more. I plan to go back very soon.

BEST Italian food in Dover, Delaware hands down! We are originally from NY and moving out to another state we find it extremely hard to get great Italian food. This place right here... ON POINT! Extremely friendly, place is spotless clean and the portions are plentiful! Give there Heroes a try all 3 are amazing, Chicken Parmesan, Meatball Parmesan & the Sausage Parmesan ...DELICIOUS! We had Marilyn as a waitress and must say, she definitely takes care of you. Not once did we ask for a refill, she continuously refills them, very attentive and knows her job & is great at it. We did lunch & dinner here, they book up fast so if planning to dine in, make reservations this place is not big large enough to accommodate everyone trying to be seated. Took my husband here to celebrate Father's day (day before) we ordered the Marisa, pasta with seafood, to die for! Will make this our #1 spot when we are out here visiting our family. OH...there Marinara sauce with fried calamari is made to perfection.. Hats off to the owner & chef and all that works in this establishment!

We are new to the area, and ordered a pizza to go (half plain/half pepperoni). The pizza was great, the service was good, and the building was very nice and clean.

Today we had our Global Methodist Christmas luncheon at Vincenzos. It was wonderful! The food and the service top notch! Thank you so much.

Vincenzo is quite the host, you always feel special with him. The short ribs and spinach was fantastic tonight. Thank you for another great meal.
Our server needed to understand the menu items better, a bit disappointed there and the sur charge for using a credit card, I'm not a cash carry person so I'm not at all fond of being charged using my card.
