Alekos 2 Go

They have great food. I got the shrimp and fries. I love boardwalk fries and they give you a nice size serving. The shrimp was breaded with a nice seasoning. It came with garlic bread which added to the taste.

I love their Greek soup! Previous owners didn’t have it every day, but now it is on the menu. Delicious, especially if you want something a little different.
Staff is always friendly and happy to make your order right! Highly recommend 😊

The gyro platter is phenomenal. My whole family ordered it. One of the best we have had. We will definitely return to try other items on their menu. The Raspberry ice is also one of the best we have tried

Food was amazing. Was back in less than a week for the Calamari and Shrimp Salad!

Delicious!! Don’t be fooled by the tiny unimpressive looking building. This place is legit and they take their time to prepare a delightful meal. So good!! I’d get exactly the same thing again.

I owned alekos 2 go and enjoy coming backa few times a month , the food was great , tasty fresh and hot. Thanks Danny and the great staff, I come pretty regularly, Vale and Oana my cousins are doing great, the food was great yesterday and today, I'll be back

Went for lunch with a friend. Enjoyed the picnic table out back. Nutella shake was amazing! Gyro did not disappoint either. Love this place!

Always amazing. The boardwalk fries are like your in OC. Everything we have tried is great. My husband loves the angus cheesesteak. Real chunks of meat. The salads are huge with a nice portion of everything. Very friendly staff and food is always correct. You will never be disappointed.

Our bike group stopped for food and we got great service & great food ! We’ve actually stopped here several times for dinner during bike rides since the food is so good !

Absolutely the best Greek food I've had in awhile. Food was so good I went back and got more to take home. Also the young man at the drive thru was so nice and friendly and did I say they have a drive thru. If your in Hagerstown go by and try this yumminess lol

I wanted to give a review of my recent visit to Aleko’s. I don’t get there often, but have been going there for more than 10 years. The food has always been great. I did look at the other reviews before I went just out of curiosity.
Called my order in and picked it up. Opened it up to munch on the fries on the way home. Realized I had a small cup of dressing for a large Greek salad and not much tzatziki sauce on the gyro. The meat was also well-done, not burnt.
Went back to the restaurant and shared my concerns. They were very happy to fix all deficiencies and shared some suggestions to avoid misunderstandings. Very good advice.
- Let them know how you want the meat cooked, well-done, barely warm or somewhere in between. We all have different tastes; we have no problem telling an order taker how we want our steaks cooked.
- Check your order before you leave for completeness. We are all human and occasionally make mistakes.
Reading over the other reviews I read some people complained the gyros weren’t even made correctly. You couldn’t pick it up to eat.
We have so many different ethnic foods available to us and we say we like them, but we need to be honest, we do tend to “Americanize” them sometimes. The “in” thing now are bowl meals. Maybe Aleko’s is trying to get in on that too by the way they assemble the gyros. If you want it done ‘traditionally’ make sure they know that, order it that way.
I will continue to support Aleko’s, I love their food. I have no problem giving specifics as to the way I want my food. Thank you Aleko’s!!!

My wife is Greek so she knows good Greek food. We have been looking for a good Greek place ever since we moved here in 2004. We have found it! They have great steak & cheese and meatball subs as well. We get carry out at least once a week. Can’t eat inside, but they do tables outside weather permitting.

Well worth the wait! The food was so delicious I couldn’t even stop to take a picture because it was beautiful and fresh as well. I don’t know what authentic greek food taste like from Greece but I worked at old Chicago pizza owned by greeks and this food took me back. I had the Gyro platter.

The owner Danny is one of the most honest, hard working and respectful people your ever going to meet. The food is always perfect, the staff is always at their best and of course the new look says it all, Alekos 2 Go is on another level. Oh and Spring and Summer 2021 it is going to get even better......

Our "Go-To" place before baseball games at Federal Little League. The turkey Rachel sandwich and the cheesteak sub are incredible!

For pickup or delivery, Alekos is excellent! Great food and great service! We order regularly and are never disappointed. The reliability, quality, and value are unmatched by far in Hagerstown. Thank you!
