Falafel Kabob Mediterranean Grill

Definitely one of my new favorite spots! Came across this restaurant on the Local Flavor app and decided to try them out today!

Hands down everything was awesome!!!The lamb and chicken bowl was amazing and there are so many toppings and sauces you can select from. Everything was also so fresh!! Some of the sauces are spicy so we got them on the side.

The Lamb Shawarma fries are a must try. They were made to order and had so much flavor. We also tried the wings and were a good size, made to order, and had a great flavor.

The staff is super friendly and did a wonderful job. Place was very clean and had several tables to dine in. The desserts looked really good and there were a variety of drinks to choose from.

Do not hesitate to check this place out! We absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

Simply the best! I recommend this place to everyone I meet. You can't get healthy good food like this from any other fast casual spot at this price. Lunch is such a deal. I always go for the wrap as the bread is phenomenal!

Staff easily informed me of the vegan options. Nothing is made with nuts. Tasted fresh and flavorful. The spicy options were not too spicy to me. This was not overly salty like Cava is to me. Great flavor on the rice. Will definitely be back!

Customer service is off the charts. The owner is hugely friendly, genuinely interested in the experience of the customer, looks to really get to know the customer (and on several occasions I observed others come in to the restaurant and it was clear he had repeat customers as he seemed to know several by name). Small business, really hustling to make it and it shows, excellent job! And then there is the food... Yeah, it was on par with the above mentioned customer service. Mind you, I've got an exceptionally picky-eater in my house, and yet our entire family was quite happy with our meal. The format for this restaurant is similar to a few other (unnamed here) chains, but the taste of the food is considerably better, hands-down. Oh, did I mention customer service - yeah, no comparison here to the chains. Without qualification, we'll be back again. Well done!

Update: We came back again (and now again), had a pita wrap this time and my taste buds are exploding with joy! If you're in need of food therapy, this IS the place!

TLDR: definitely come here for delicious fresh food. I usually get cava, and this is better than that, it tastes soo fresh. Hope i can come back some more :)

Very friendly and upbeat staff, they piled my bowl up high and I love how none of the toppings cost extra. They also put plenty of meat in their bowls, so you get your money’s worth. They said they just opened 5 months ago! 100% recommend checking it out even if only to meet the people.

The food is absolutely delicious and they helped me pick out my sauces, letting me sample so I wouldn’t get myself into a tricky situation ordering something too spicy for me. I got the lamb shawarma and my family got the chicken, both were excellent.

Very friendly staff and the food was absolutely beautiful, fresh, and delicious. Literally looks like art. The staff gave me great recommendations for toppings and were very kind to me as I am not as familiar with Mediterranean food. I will definitely be back as soon as I can. :)

I was about two seconds away from ordering Cava this evening when I remembered seeing Falafel Kabob on the Frederick fatty Facebook page. The pictures and the reviews were very enticing. I must say everything said was spot on. I built my own bowl and it was perfect. Fresh and delicious. The sauces were all very good too. Normally I'd go for baklava, but I saw they had a pistachio cake that claimed to be from scratch. I gave it a go....and WOW. Flavorful, light, and delicate. I was also met by a gentleman when I went to pick up my order, he was very friendly and clearly passionate about the restaurant. He gave me extra sauces that were popular for me to try as well and explained anything I was unsure of. We can all appreciate a pleasant exchange when entering a place of business. I'll definitely be back to try more.

We did the build your own bowl for about 10ish per person. It was plenty of food and 2 of us had left overs. We all got chicken which was very good. The taziki sauce, feta and the cucumbers were all big hits. Definitely will stop by here again!

This was my wife and I first time there. The food was great and it was fresh and the customer service was great. I also tried their pistachio cake and it is one of the best I have tried. Highly recommend that cake.

The sitting area a little small and the parking is not the best, but overall I will go there again.

Great little spot! Friendly staff, fresh ingredients, and very good prices. On our last visit we ordered chicken shawarma fries and wings. Both portions were large and VERY flavorful. We'll definitely be back :)

Unpretentious place for simply solid, utterly delicious food. The lamb was perfectly cooked, the toppings were fresh, and the whole place was immaculate. You can tell that the people here have love poured into the place. Definitely don't miss the house made mild garlic sauce!

Ordered a byo shawarma bowl. It was absolutely delicious. Generous portion. Flavor was 10/10.

This place was recommended to me. I was expecting more of a restaurant, but it’s more of a fast casual type of spot. It’s hidden in a shopping plaza off W Patrick St. This place is a literal hidden gem. The staff is very friendly and the food is delicious. The falafel is fresh, authentic and fried to order. The shawarma is pretty good, but the falafel I will return for!

Perfect Mediterranean food. The Lamb Shawarma bowl was delicious. The wrap was full and tasty. The falafel was simply wonderful. Excellent food, quick service, and super personable and friendly staff. This place has a growing Excellent reputation! Jump in and give them a try - you won't be disappointed. We'll be back!

BLUF: Better than Cava. Friendly owner/service. Local owned and operated. Fast and filling. Very well priced for the portion. Give this place a try!

Food: Lunch bowl - Chicken

Let me just say that this place is a hidden gem. Tucked next to the Ford dealership. We placed our order online and offered to pay in shop (no secure online payment available, only unsecured). I ordered 2 chicken lunch bowls. Walked in, owner was very friendly and welcoming. Vendor was dropping off a delivery and it was nice to see him offer food for the hard work.

Asked for sauce on the side. Owner gave us a sample of tzatziki and hummus to try out. Explained that everything in the shop is freshly made and prepared there and his process. Really nice touch since most places offer processed foods. The serving size for lunch was very generous for the price (7.99) and had a nice balance of meat, rice, and toppings. Brought the food home, still nice and warm. IT WAS AMAZING. Seriously. First bite for both me and my wife made us stop for a sec and really comment on how good it was. It has a nice hint of spice and flavor that is not overpowering and blends well with everything in the dish. We tried a little with hummus and tzatziki and it changed the flavor slightly in amazing ways. The sauce (orange) added some extra spice and still meshed very well. Both of us were very full about 3/4 of the way.

Portions, flavor, price beats Cava by miles. We’ll definitely be returning. Please give this place a try, you won’t regret it.

Falafel Kabob is a must try restaurant. The food is extremely delicious and very affordable. Their lunch special beats the price and taste of fast food and other local restaurants so to me is a no brainer every time . The staff is really nice and I have now been 4 times and it has been consistently good. Check them out .

They've been open 8 weeks. Short line, super friendly. Meat was freshly shaved. Got the chicken shawarma and lam shawarma, plus baba ganoush and falafel. Falafel is real (not frozen) and everything is prepared with care. Portion sizes are generous. Lots and lots of sauce options, it's tempting to overdo it. 100% worth it. Will be back--love Mediterranean food and have visited the area several times. This is the real deal. Highly recommended.

AMAZING. The food is off the charts delicious. Being able to customize your meal is fantastic. This place deserves to have a location in every town. Even more impressive than the food was the owner. Not only was he 100% focused on our experience, hearing him talk about their food and sauces was incredible. So pationate and enthusiastic about sharing his food and cuisine with others. He is truly proud to be serving this food and he absolutely should be! So delicious. We live about an hour away and will for sure be returning as often as we can!
