DT Grinders Restaurant and Bar

Great place! Service was great and the people were nice. The price may be a bit on the high side for some and the portions are a bit smaller but what you are paying for is the quality of the food not quantity. Glad to finally see a high quality casual restaurant setting its self apart from the "Shirt and Tie" establishments with food of the same caliber. They're filling a gap in the Meridian market that is flooded and stagnant with chain restaurants and buffets. Great job and keep it up.

Wonderful food with amazing atmosphere!

Really great place! It's a little bit higher price, but the food and service is amazing. Definitely recommend trying the fish and the fried gators. The drinks were good, some were a little hit and miss but overall good, just make sure to really inquire about the drinks before experimenting a new cocktail. The place is also really beautiful, it has a very nice southern charm to it. Probably one of the best spots to check out in Meridian MS.

Great food. It's in an old Victorian home with all original doors, hardware and flooring - very nicely done. A little over priced but not too bad. Great staff! Awesome menu. Bar upstairs and event room on the third floor.

Very nice restaurant. An old house that has been nicely converted to a restaurant. The redfish was excellent. Entrees come with a loaded baked potato that was very good. Salads are extra but worth it. Our waitress (I wish knew her name) was adorable and was really nice to my friends 85 year old mother. When in Meridian, go to DT Grinders!

I live in CA and came to Meridian for work. This place is the BEST place if you are looking for good food and drinks. Owner Amanda is awesome.. The place is decorated perfect. Music is good too. You will not be disappointed.

We were driving through Mississippi and hit Meridian about dinner time. Reviews suggested DT Grinders so we found it. First off, it is in an incredibly cool old house. Refurbed and looks and feels amazing. We were immediately seated and perused a very interesting menu. I had a bowl of Pee-Wee, Huskey and Grumpy soup. Really tasty and great mix of flavors. Drinks were good. I had The Grinder (a bit sweeter than I normally like) and my wife really enjoyed hers (some name with Cat in it). My wife had The Barnyard. The meat was good but she loved the vegetables- Brussels sprouts and Asparagus. Exceptional. I had The Spicey Canadian Quisadilla which was amazing. An excellent sandwich. We had the Bread Pudding which was good, not great. They bring out a tray with about 12 different desserts to pick from. They all looked good. Service was pleasant and attentive. We walked around to view all the cool decor of album covers and retro stuff. Interesting. Upstairs is a bar that felt fun with multiple seating locales and options. There was also table service on the front porch if you chose. It was a surprise great meal in a great building. Wish we had reason to be back in Meridian. We expressed what a great time we would have there with our friends. If in the area it is truly worth a stop.

We ordered the crab claw appetizer and steak. It was fresh and cooked to perfection. The baked potatoes are perfect, too. The bar also has a nice selection of drinks and the Bloody Mary is big, and spicy, and JUST right!

My husband and I had dinner here tonight. The red fish was perfect and the service was absolutely wonderful! We will definitely make this our date night spot!

This restaurant/bar is my favorite place. It’s definitely an ideal place to get some food and listen to great music. The environment is simply amazing and definitely puts meridian on the map. If ever in need of a place to relax I definitely suggest this establishment to everyone.

The food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are decent & the new renovations are absolutely beautiful. Will definitely be recommending my family & friends to dine here!!!

Went last Tuesday Night for combination Mothers Day and Anniversary dinner and found it charming , great food, and great Service!! (Thanks to our server Jennifer)!! Very pleasant experience!!

Great place. If you're looking for great food at a decent price. This is your place. It's off the beaten path and there is a really neat bar upstairs. Francine is a great waitress

Although it was a little pricey, the service was great! Francine was our waitress and she was excellent. Food was prepared perfect. We'll be back.
