Laundry World Laundromats- Gretna Blvd

First time coming here, Husband works at the plant, and finding a good laundry facility is important. This place is tucked in the corner of a business strip but when you walk in it's got fans and ac with benches & chairs to sit and wait for your laundry & the washers are when you first walk in and to the left then the dryers are on the right side of the building. They don't use quarters at all. You get a Laundry World card, which you load and refill with cash or card. The card can be used at more than just this location, which is great! The washer that holds 3 loads at once is $4.50 & the washer that holds 2 loads is $3.00... you just place the card on the pad and press start. These washers are 26 mins, and the small dryers are $1.00 for 17 mins. They have a variety of sizes, both in Washers and Dryers. The atmosphere is pleasant and friendly. It's not loud or overwhelming at all. James, one of the gentlemen who works there, is polite & very personable. Hours are great for those who get off work at the plant after 6pm. I highly recommend this location!!

It's been a long time since I've been to a laundromat and this one is awesome. Very clean, quiet, friendly staff, front load machines. You get a personalized card that you load with cash and the machines text you when your clothes are done. They have 4 sizes of machines to choose from. I will be back to wash my comforters. Been to wash here 3 times already due to my home washer breaking, and it is a very nice laundrymat and even though it was busy I noticed it to be clean on the 2 weekends I went, but today I made my 3rd trip, I noticed it much cleaner due to the lady working there, and she sure did a very good job sweaping the floors, organizing carts and all! She was very friendly & offered her help because I guess she noticed I wasn't too good trying to use the washers & card. She also told me I could use the rolling thingies to bring my heavy clothe basket to my car and that was a great thing to know and she even helped me carry one clothes basket outside to my car, so she was super helpful...thank you so much Angie!

ANGIE is amazing!!! She never stops!!! While vacationing we see a lot of laundrymats and this was by far the best!!!

It was nice and clean. Plenty of washers and dryers!! Not HOT in their like other laundry mats, in fact the exact opposite! AND they had good music playing 😁

I loved this laundromat. It’s so clean, the attendant was kind and helpful. When our washing machine got fixed I have to admit, I was a little sad not to be at Laundry World, that’s how much I enjoyed this place. I was able to wash my rugs and all our laundry while I watched a show on my phone away from my kids. Peaceful.

This clean environment was very spacious and top of the line washer and dryer’s! Service from Angie and MJ was excellent, very clean! I’ll recommend it anytime! See you soon.

This place was so nice clean and well organized. No need to have coins. All you need is a debit card Apple Pay etc and you get a washer card and the washer and dryer even send you a text when it’s done how cool is that???

This laundromat is everything you can expect and more!!!! Super clean, *friendly enviornment. Super huge machines at very! affordable prices. Spacious area with plenty of folding space and baskets. Not to mention fabulously modern!!
I was there about 9am and the staff member was legit cleaning AND smiling the entire time. Diverse music playing plus a vending machine with good! snacks hahaa. Until I purchase my own units, this is the ONLY place I’ll be doing laundry. (:

I have been to many laundromats before but Laundry World is the best so far. It is very clean, organized, lots of updated washing machines and dryers. It offers both self wash or drop off services as well. Ms. Ublanca greets you as soon as you walk through the door. She is very friendly, informative and assists with loading the funds on the card. Thanks Laundry World for providing a service to the public.

Just wanted to give a great review on the grenta location. I came in this morning around 9, this is the cleanest laundry mat I have ever visited. The laundry attendant was friendly and spoke to everyone. Keep doing what you’re doing its great!

First time there and the washer and dryers were clean. They had someone going around whipping the machines and cleaning the windows and floors. I would go there again.

Best laundry mat in New Orleans!! Safe and clean and love that I get text updates when my laundry is done. Highly recommend this place!
