Nomad Shelter Cove

Switched marinas mid Summer 2022 due to rates. Could not be any happier. Helpful staff, clean and well maintained facilities. Friendly people. Quiet setting. Looking forward to season ‘23 and many after.
10/10 would recommend.

I was only here once, but it was a pleasant visit. We pulled up in the boat to get gas from the marina. The girl that filled up our gas was very polite, and very nice. We didn’t do anything else here except for get gas but it was definitely a great visit. We will be back again, especially when we need fuel. Thanks for the great visit and reasonable prices.

Had a rack at Shelter Cove since March 2017. This facility is everything I could have hoped for, from the helpful nature of all the staff as well as the feel of a small yacht community. The parts department was awesome as well as the excellent maintenance and repairs provided from the service department. My experience here was stellar. Thank you to all the staff. I shall miss this marina and its tenants when I move later this spring. I highly recommend Shelter Cove Marina

We purchased a SailFish 245DC from Galahad Marine. Mr. Stephen Parker - whose business card has his title as, "Crew Member" was our sales representative. His decades of experience, love for his work, and laser sharp customer focus made the entire experience more enjoyable than we could have predicted. He patiently and expertly answered every one of our questions and promptly responded to any follow up ones. I never thought I'd provide a five-star recommendation to any boat dealer but this one deserves the rating. Keep on doing what you do, Mr. Parker. You're a credit to the industry.

Purchased a used boat there that matched our exact needs. Slow start as we had battery and ignition switch issues but once addressed , marina fixed all issues. Very professional.

Update. Winterized boat there, Conditioned it this spring, Splashed it this morning, engine turned right over. Thank you!

Awesome place!! Staff is amazing and willing to go out of there way to please the customer everytime.I cant wait for all the new upgrades to be finished its going to make it 10 times better. They will always have my business. Also great mechanics with over 30+ years of experience.

I recently worked with Steven to purchase a Jeanneau 795. He made the entire transaction smooth and easy despite me living an hour and a half away. I would definitely buy my next boat from him and highly recommend them!

I am a longitime Shelter Cove/Jackson Marine slip holder who is very excited about the commitment from Galahad Marine to make boating in Cecil County even more pleasurable. My husband and i are thrilled that Galahad Marine is making sign I can't improvements to McDaniel Yacht Basin with the goal to do the same at Shelter Cove Yacht Basin.

The North East and Elk Rivers and the head of the Chesapeake Bay provide the most memorable boating landscapes and anchoring opportunities I have experienced. Add to this marina enhancements, special events including "paint and sip," slipowner parties and surveys to provide feedback on service, things to do, etc., and Galahad quickly inspires a desire to reserve a slip so you wont miss out on the fun.

Barbara Jaffey helped me with a very unique situation in which she had no obligation to do so. She was a godsend. Good people work here!

As far as filling up it's the best on NE River. Easy in and out and protected. Also floating dock with padding and the girls friendly and helpful. Only place I get gas.
