A Hidden Gem in McDonough!

Last Thursday, I had the pleasure of visiting the new SDK’s Cafe and Coffee, and let me just say—it did not disappoint! From the moment I walked in, I was struck by how clean and organized the space was. The vibe was inviting, and the staff? Absolutely lovely.

I kicked off my visit with an Iced Chai Tea Latte that was divine. It had just the right balance of spices and sweetness. For my meal, I opted for the avocado toast with added egg and tomato—pure perfection. Bonus points for the hot sauce packets! I like my avocado toast with a bit of a kick.

Being the juice enthusiast I am, I couldn’t resist sampling some of their juice options. Fresh and flavorful, they didn’t let me down. But the real showstopper? The banana nut bread muffin. So good, I had to get another one to take home to my mom, who’s recovering from knee replacement surgery. The staff, being the sweethearts they are, gave me an extra muffin for her, on the house. Talk about going above and beyond!

The cafe itself is a haven for remote workers like me. Plenty of seats, tables, and outlets—a dream setup for anyone looking to get some work done while sipping on something delicious. Their menu is also impressive, with a variety of coffee, teas, and breakfast sandwiches that I can’t wait to try on my next visit.

As a McDonough resident for 30 years, it’s a joy to discover a new "mom n' pop" style place like SDK’s Cafe and Coffee. It’s a fantastic addition to the neighborhood, and I’ll definitely be back soon. Highly recommend!

The bagels and blueberry muffins are amazing! You should definitely stop in for the real New York way! I wasn't able to try any coffee on my first visit because it was too late in the day for me.

they have great options for breakfast, not just bagels, but they also have croissants, and toast style sandwiches. I got the : egg everything bagel with lox and cream cheese, let me tell you.... I have never had a better bagel than this one with all the fixings, it was.. EVERYTHING I needed that morning!

They have a variety of choices for your beverage, NOT JUST Coffee, but they have teas, fraps, and espresso's. I got : a citrus hibiscus tea..... Let ! Me! Tell! You! Worth the 2 min steep. They have a section where you sweeten up your coffees or teas. The fact that they had honey available for the teas put it over the top for me, that's where you see the customer service, and where the owners have their minds on the customers needs!

I absolutely suggest you to come get your morning fix here, or NOT JUST THE MORNING, ANY TIME!. They also have modern electrical outlets for you to plug your laptop in and do your work while you enjoy whatever you ordered. This is a small, comfy, modern, enjoyable, delicious, and welcoming place! Support your local business! Support black owned ! 🙏🏼 The vibes are 💯!

This is by far the best bagel I’ve tasted in GA!
First, the people working there were extremely welcoming and energetic when I walked in. I ordered an apple cinnamon raisin bagel with butter and cream cheese. It was absolutely the best tasting bagel I’ve ever had. It was fresh and the flavor was delicious.

Well, the second day I went back and I ordered the French toast bagel and a mocha iced coffee and once again my order was the absolute best!
This cafe is a hidden treasure worth patronizing and sets itself apart from the surrounding routine breakfast/coffee restaurants.
You will not be disappointed with the service and food!😋🤩

Here For It! I arrived at my mother’s house this passing Friday for a Mother’s Day weekend. I was good and hung over and she took one look at me and said ‘chile, come on, there’s a new coffee spot up the street.’ So off we went. I grew up in this area and my mother has lived in that house off Jodeco for 20 years. We were very excited to see that black owned business pop up. The interior is nice and clean and spacious. There’s plenty of seating and a pretty nicely sized menu with almond, soy, and whole milk options. In my later years(last two years as I’m 33) the animal milks don’t agree with me so I was very excited that they were accommodating. It didn’t take long at all for us to get our orders back but while we were there there were several people that already seemed like regulars sitting around and talking with neighbors. I just adored that ‘friends’ coffee shop sort of feel. My mother was in the military and she struck up a conversation with a gentleman that thanked her for her service while he sat leisurely beside the door. He made small talk with a mother that was dropping her daughter off at gymnastics. The barista made a couple jokes with me about my previous evening. It was almost a familial feeling. The coffee was Great! Nice size, excellent beans and blend. I really enjoyed it. But the ambiance of ‘everybody knows your name’ without a lick of hooch in the joint was endearing. I hope you all thrive and people see the value in you even though the area is developing. I will definitely be back as my mother has an affinity for it as well now. Thanks so much.

This is fantastic! The coffee is great, and the bagels are the absolute best. Wonderful atmosphere, and the owners are very friendly.Everytime we go there we run into the most congenial people to talk to, and you can stay as long as you want! I highly recommend this place.

Very new and beautiful coffee shop. The service was fast and their lattes are delicious. First time I had an egg bagel and it was delicious. Prices are reasonable. Check them out. Trust me you will not be disappointed and it’s right off of 75 too!

What a fabulous experience with fabulous people. I had the everything bagel with butter and cream cheese and a large coffee. My fancy NY friend had the vanilla latte and a bagel with lox. Super friendly service and fresh bagels made a great start to the day. Wishing abundant blessings upon this business. The Queens can’t wait to visit again.

We stopped in to SDK’s this afternoon. They’ve only been open a couple of weeks but you could hardly tell. The owners were warm and welcoming, my espresso was just right, and my bagel breakfast sandwich was AMAZING. The bagels are flown in fresh from New York and you can tell. We can’t wait to visit this wonderful veteran owned, family coffee shot again!

I normally never leave a review but this place is absolutely amazing especially the staff. I got a matcha latte!

Run, don't walk and get yourself some fresh NY bagels. Mine didn't even make it home. Not to mention the staff are super friendly and welcoming. Clean and pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be back

Literally the best coffee I have ever tasted in the US. Tried the brew of the month and it was the freshest, most flavorful cup. Drank it black because I didn’t want to water down the flavor at all. Will love to go back.

I tried to bagel w salmon and that was something very tasty and unique! They definitely put me on to something new. Clean atmosphere and friendly environment. I definitely will be returning.

Such a cute cozy spot. Came for the McDonough mom’s meet up for coffee. The staff was sweet and patient with us. Got our orders out quickly. The blueberry muffins are DELICIOUS. will be returning!

Perfect environment for food with a comfortable atmosphere. Spectacular staff. Significantly better than the rest of the coffee shops by far! And the food is incredible!

This place just opened a couple months ago, family-owned/operated, and they serve breakfast all day. I came for the cold brew, stayed for the atmosphere and was able to get some work done on my computer. Very friendly staff, and very clean!

Excellent coffee shop with some of the best coffee I have ever had. This place is owned and operated by a very nice couple. I don't know why anyone around here would go to Starbucks when they have this local option.
