Jamo's Cafe

I was in Huntsville for the day and decided to try our Jamo's Cafe, and it is fair to say that if I find myself in Huntsville again I will for sure be returning! The employees were super friendly, and the food came out hot and fresh! The prices are also very fair for the amount of food you are served! :)

We had the veggie plate and gyro wrap and both were really good. The mosaic tiles when you enter the Cafe were super cute.
The place is a bit non-assuming but totally worth a try. We'll definitely visit again.

Everything is so good and cooked to order. They serve fresh Authentic Mediterranean. I loved the young man working and the grandpa it was such great portion for the prices. you gotta try this place. I got the veggie wrap and Greek salad it was like 13.00. So Good!!!

Ordered chicken kabob. Great taste and I could not believe that under $12 I got pita, rice, chicken kabob, hummus, salad and some fruit. Place Looks not so glamorous from outside or in but absolutely I was pleased with the the food, packaging. My dinner box had cutlery in it as well so I got everything that I needed. I highly recommend this place.

I am in my 30's and have been eating here for more than 20 years consistently. I say that to say this, the prices have not really changed. If you are looking for a great meal at a great price go to Jamos. The food is always tasty and always comes out fast. I love eating at jamos.

Nice clean hole in the wall type place. Prices are very reasonable at only $10.66 for a turkey bacon cheeseburger and grape leaves.

For Muslim diners: Owners are Muslim, and food is confirmed Halal. No icons are present, no alcohol is sold.

Nice family-owned restaurant, good quality food, and 1 of 3 halaal establishments in Huntsville so it makes a good spot for after Jumuah. I've had the Gyro Wrap and Bacon Cheeseburger so far and both were delicious.

Honestly, I would not know anything about their menu other than their hamburgers. They have the best "steak burger" In town, that is if you trust their proprietary blend of onion, mayonnaise mustard and seasoning. I couldn't tell you exactly what it is but it is absolutely delicious. The best! At the best price in town.

Excellent gyros and Kebabs at this cafe, with a good selection of drinks to include good smoothies. For the price (around 12 for a kebab plate or 6.50 for a gyro) getting food of this quality is unheard of nowadays. While there's nothing particularly exotic about the menu this is one of the best places near redstone for a great and affordable lunch.

Great value. Cook accidentally dropped one of my falafel so he made me another to replace it. Very nice people. Order ahead if you're in a rush.

ordered hummus, spanakopita, and a chicken kebab plate. everything was delicious! dined in; the staff was friendly and attentive. overall a great place for mediterranean.

The food was delicious, I had a chicken cheesestake and fries, and my friend had a gyro plate with a salad. She said her coffee was great. I also got a chia smoothie. I highly recommend Jamo's Cafe.

Jamos should be in the Pantheon of Huntsville restaurant institutions. Excellent Mediterranean inspired food. the gyros wrap is fantastic a delicious upgrade to the doughy pita. Spot on tabboulhi, baklava and taziki. Top notch smoothies to compliment.

Best tzaziki sauce ive ever had! I think it has little strips of cucumber in it. Yum !Simple diner setup with a patio.
Good food for an unbeatable price!

It was my first time in Jamo's Cafe. I love the ma and pa feel. There are not a lot of seats so we were lucky to grab a table. They do have additional tables outside if the weather allows. The gyro was outstanding, maybe in the top 2 for the Huntsville area.

Had the gyro platter. 5 star worthy although the pita bread was a little dry. The flavor of the meat, the crispness of the veges, the flavor of the rice more than made up for it. Very nice lady behind the counter.

Very reasonably priced menu items. The gyro's (wraps) don't come with sides but still a great value for the price.

Had the Cheese Steak gyro and shared a hummus plate with my wife, everything was so delicious! The meat and veggies had a nice light char on it, cooked to perfection. Definitely will be back again!

I love Jamo's.
The man can cook great homemade food, can serve surprisingly good coffee (better than Starbucks), and is generally quite warm and friendly. The inside of the restaurant is a little akin to a living room, with one side having a TV and a coffee table, where the (presumably) owner sits and hangs out at when business is slow. The center is the seating area, and the other side is an entranceway with some decorations and potted houseplants placed around. The atmosphere is generally a cozy place to hang out and drink coffee (or tea) and eat truly exceptional Mediterranean / Middle Eastern food. It's a great place to have a relaxed, enjoyable experience whether you are eating a meal or simply there to talk with friends and sip on a beverage.

P.S.
My personal recommendation is the Kefta, or the Lamb Kabob. I prefer the baba gahnoush over the hummus, but both are homemade and extremely good. The Baklava is also better than any other I've had in the city.
