Sean's Prime Dining

This is one of those places you keep meaning to try and it's taken a long time to get there, but it won't take near as long for us to return! We dropped in without a reservation early one June evening as the sun was still blistering through the windows. Fortunately, they were able to immediately seat us in the open dining area near the bar. Many of the patrons appeared to be regulars as they and the staff seemed to have close relationships, which is always nice to find.
We started with the Mango Drop Martini which was so refreshing after the walk down the hot sidewalks. We then went to the Crab Stuffed Jumbo Shrimp for an appetizer. These were wonderful, but the applewood smoked bacon was just a tiny bit chewy for my companion. I finished with the Coq au Vin. This was almost a religious experience! It was truly "prime dining" as the name implies. The sous vide 1/2 chicken was flash fried & finished with deglazed red wine, carrots, onion, and mushroom. To complete, the dish was then finished with a rich chicken demi-glace de veau over creamy duck fat whipped potatoes.
Sean's Prime Dining is a serious dining experience. This will be one of our anniversary, birthday places where you go to truly check out the top of the line in cooking on the Eastern Shore. Professional, but very welcoming. Robbie D was very helpful with the menu recommendations and a pleasure to have as our server. Find a nice shirt, leave your ball cap and the strollers at home, and enjoy an awesome prime dining experience.

Sean catered my daughter’s wedding and this was the first time we have been to his restaurant. Oh my Lord!!! The atmosphere was absolutely wonderful and inviting, the service was top notch, and the FOOD….the food was absolutely AMAZING! I wish I would have gotten pictures of all of our food. For starters we had the shrimp cocktail and Portabella mushroom tapas…outstanding!!!! Then my husband ordered the full rack of lamb….WOW!!! I had the Braised Short Ribs, my daughter had the Filet Mignon and my Son-in-law had the stuffed Flounder. We also ordered the Brussel Sprouts and Eggplant to share as sides. The Brussel sprouts were a favorite!!! Their desserts are phenomenal!! We ordered, Triple Chocolate cake, Key Lime Shortbread and two Crème Brûlée cheesecakes. Y’all!!!!!! Needless to say, I had to be rolled out because I was bowed up like a tick!!! I got a special drink for my birthday, the Bomb Pop 😉😉 and it was fabulous! The staff there is absolutely phenomenal, kind, and made us feel like family instead of just customers. Please visit Sean! Their food is absolutely delicious!! Go early! They get busy on weekends. You won’t regret it!!!!

Well let me tell you what an AMAZING AWESOME EXPERIENCE we had here. The atmosphere was so elegant and comfortable just walking in it seemed so welcoming and peaceful. The service was so on point with top quality care. The food was seasoned to perfection and cooked flawlessly. The flavor was so satisfying I had to fight back tears on how exceptional the meals tasted. For the simple fact that the food and service were so awesome I have named this place to be my absolute BEST EXPERIENCE in a restaurant.
Hands down. You must come and see for yourself.

We were planning on making reservations at Seans Prime Dining for our 41st wedding anniversary. But, our daughter beat us to it. We arrived at the restaurant at 5:00 p.m. which was our reservation time. We were immediately taken to our table where there was a small note on the table wishing us a Happy Anniversary.

Joseph, the manager and our daughter had made prior arrangements for our evening and it was absolutely amazing!!!!! Joseph went above and beyond what our daughter had requested! The presentation of the food was gorgeous and the food itself was outstanding.

After dinner, we both had eaten so much, we were not going to get any dessert. However, Joesph and Amber had planned our dessert for us. :)

Now to our waitress, Ashley...Again absolutely wonderful. She went above and beyond and we will certainly ask for her on our next visit to Sean's. Highly recommend this restaurant. Thank you Joseph, Ashley and our daughter for an absolutely wonderful 41st wedding anniversary dinner!

We drove from Mobile to Sean’s Prime for a date night and let me just say it did not disappoint. The service was amazing. I love a good mojito and the bartender made one of the best mojito that I had in a long time. The lobster rolls. Yummmmmmmmm. The waygu flat iron is a must try. I had the flounder with blue crab and husband had the filet. They were both amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we will be planning my birthday dinner here soon. We thoroughly enjoyed dinner and glad we crossed the pond for the spectacular meal.

I had been wanting to try Sean’s ever since I moved down to Fairhope earlier this year so my husband and I went for our anniversary. We were very pleased with the relaxing atmosphere, the kind servers, and the delicious food! We ended up trying the duck wontons and scallops for an appetizer and they were both beautifully cooked. The scallops were so fresh and didn’t disappoint! My husband ordered the burger with truffle fries and then I had the lamb chop special and they were both wonderful. We are already planning on coming back after the holidays. This would be a great place to bring visiting friends and family!

A fantastic experience, start to finish (Sunday Brunch). Started with perfect Bloody Mary’s, followed by Classic Eggs Benedict for her snd the lobster roll for me. Tough choice between the Gouda Grits and the breakfast potatoes (crispy outside, pillowy inside). And of course, had to have a side of bacon. Service was friendly and very attentive, and the lobster roll was everything prior reviews stated. As good as any I’ve had. Don’t miss this spot when you are in Fairhope!

Visiting friend's on Friday 7/5/2024 we checked out a restaurant that they had not been to even as residents of Fairhope! Friday evening with a 6:30 pm reservation we walked into Sean's. The ambiance of the room was inviting! We were seated near the center of the main dining room. Despite the crowded room, we could easily have our own conversation without hearing the conversations nearby!
Our server, Hope was delightful, informative and very attentive to our request. We started with cocktails, of course lol. Then an appetizer of a delicious shrimp cocktail. For an entree I decided on the crab stuffed shrimp wrapped in bacon with a "creamy Nawlins BBQ sauce"! Being a lifelong resident of New Orleans, I chuckled because I have never called my home city "Nawlins"!
The General Manager Tori was nearby so I asked if she could better explain. She said it was a dark, slightly tangy sauce and the shrimp were not deep fried but sautéed. Let me just say it was simply a fabulous dish! Although Sean was not there that evening, I asked Tori to please give him my highest compliments!

If you are ever in Fairhope, Al. don't miss the opportunity to experience this wonderful restaurant!

Great atmosphere and the food is top notch. Lobster rolls, like everyone else said, amazing. The prime filet and the gravy like sauce is phenomenal. 10/10.

Fantastic atmosphere and even better food! We loved everything we had from the apps to the entrees. The desserts were amazing especially the chocolate raspberry cheesecake special…amazing!

1st time staying in Fairhope. We absolutely love this little town. But the best part was the gulf snapper at Sean's. We also got a gumbo that was equally awesome! From now on, we will make a trip to Fairhope for the purpose of eating here! Thanks for making our last night so special! Elizabeth

Food was delicious, ambiance was lovely. There we s also a live singer with a beautiful voice. The bartender gave excellent service and was attentive in just the right balance. Definitely will come back. (Blue crab stuffed flounder)

Incredible food and atmosphere. The cocktails were fabulous too. This is my new favorite in Fairhope. Try the lobster roll!

We had dinner here on July 4th. Everything was absolutely amazing, from the wonder food to the great service. We were even checked on by the manager. We will definitely be back

I can’t say enough nice things about our dining experience! The food was absolutely delicious, the best in Mobile and the surrounding cities and the service was excellent.

I would like to take a moment to highlight Joseph. He created the most amazing experience for us from the moment we walked in the door. Friendly, attentive and an absolute joy to have as part of our evening out.

We wish we were local to be able to enjoy this exceptional fine dining more often. However our next trip we will be back!

We had a wonder meal celebrating my daughters 18th birthday. We had a wonderful meal and the menu (which changes weekly) was beautiful. I had to recommend one thing it would be the Kobe burger and truffle fries, the best burger I’ve ever tasted. We will definitely be back. I highly recommend Sean’s!!

Had my granddaughters college graduation dinner. Had no idea this restaurant even existed. Everything about our experience was great. I can't speak to cost because my son wouldn't let me see the bill.

Absolutely wonderful food and service! I have known Sean for years and he never disappoints. Such a beautiful restaurant and we decided to dine there for our anniversary dinner. Truffle fries are a must and the A5 Waygu appetizer was to die for. Filet is one of the best I have ever eaten and cooked to perfection. The Brussels were so delicious as well. We will definitely be back again. Awesome job Sean!
