The Avellino Pizza

The White pizza with extra cheese and onions was amazing. The older lady was so nice and we don't know what she did to it. But her skills are great. We highly recommend this place.

The location made us raise an eyebrow. It's in an almost abandoned plaza, empty parking lot. We walked in and wasn't sure if we'd stay, it was smaller than expected (only had 2 1/2 booths) and a little discerning. We decided to stay and order anyway. OMG! From the first bite! It was delicious, thin crispy crust, we asked for it to be stuffed crust and she said they could (which wasnt needed). I've never seen so much cheese on anything my whole life! The gooey melt cheese, just amazing! Fresh ingredients as well! I got a medium veggie pizza, my friend got a large meat lovers. Worth every penny and will be a return customer!!! 110% recommend!

The best meat lovers pizza I've ever had, and that was a surprise to me. As a matter of fact, I didn't miss the pork at all. I wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. There's a nice old lady in the front, and if you choose to dine in, it feels like sitting at grandma's house. The crust is perfectly crispy, there's just enough sauce, the meats are delicious, and the prices aren't bad. I do wish they had a drink fountain. I'd make a trip back out to Louisiana for this pizza place alone.

Absolutely recommend this place to anyone staying in town for a bit. Had a feeling this was going to be the best pizza I’ve ever had, and the kind lady (who I assume is the owner), proved me right! Split the bbq chicken pizza with my teammate, he was just as enamored with it as I was. Clean, customer friendly, and not lacking in variety of options (including vegetarian) either, this place should be on your NOLA food place list! Also halal too.

Wonderful lady that owns the business and she makes an amazing pizza. I will normally never order a meat lovers because of the Italian sausage but the sausage they use here is different and so much better.

As a personal recommendation, I recommend getting your pizza crust stuffed with cheese. Pizza was a 100/10! Will be going there for now on when I have a taste for pizza.

Good food, was cooked good and ready on time. Always had good service here. Sometimes people have to be patient this is not Walmart or popeyes. It is freshly cooked food restaurant alot of people order from here. Highly recommend this restaurant.

The Supreme Pizza is Amazing. Taste fresh veggies and soft fresh cheese, crust on perfect point. Best in westbank will be back.

In town from the northeast, with a craving for food from home. Found this place by the reviews and I’m so happy I did. Just wanted a low-key pizza place style sit down to relax.

The food was great, the owners are great, and the prices matched. A true hidden-treasure that shouldn’t be overlooked.

We just happened to see this place and tried it. First impression, it is not a high end dining restaurant. We were not sure what to expect but we were very happy and have told our family and friends about it.
We got Philly cheese steak and Alfredo chicken pizza. Price for pizza was really good! And really cheesy! The lady there made everything fresh! The crust was really soft and moist. We were 2 adults and 2 children (under 5 yrs old) and ordered medium philly cheese steak and small Alfredo chicken pizza.
The lady who was there was working very hard and getting orders in an out. Really impressive. She was really friendly as well. If you are looking for halal pizza or just really good pizza, go here! You won't regret it! Close to some hotels in that area as well!

You must be sleep if youre not going to Avellino Pizza. Time you woke up and did the right thing.

Im not going to tell you its the best but it is very good. Ive watched the owner make the pizza dough from scratch. It is as fresh as you can hope for these days. The pizza, wings, fries, and burgers are without doubt top tier food. I cant speak to the rest of the menu, but if you expect it will all be great youre delusional. No restaurant is perfect. Everyone has a few hits and a couple misses. Avellino hits more than misses. Give it a try.

I ordered from Avellino Pizza tonight for the first time. I ordered the Vegetable Pizza and the Philly Cheese Steak Pizza . I really liked the Vegetable Pizza! It was full of toppings and had lots of cheese! My husband liked his Philly Cheese Steak pizza too. The delivery was quick and easy! The driver was polite and courteous! Overall it was a pleasant experience! I am glad to know that they are located near my home on the westbank! I will order again to try more things on the menu!

The gyro combo was so good and delicious and filling and at a good price. The service was courteous and very friendly. Also my small black olive and sausage pizza was very tasty indeed. I highly recommend Avellino!

Omg! This was the best meat lovers pizza everrr! Can't believe I slept on this place for so long , I didn't know I had a good pizza spot that close to my house !!! The wings were also delicious ! Don't second guess yourself ! Go ahead and order from them !

Very good!! I usually get the Stromboli but sometimes a supreme pizza. It's absolutely delicious. Their pizzas are thin crust though, so if that's not your thing now you know. If you call ahead it's usually about 20-30 minute wait but its handmade. It feels very much like a mom and pop shop, homegrown everything like that. It's great pizza and you can tell the quality and authentic-ness of it. Doesn't taste like it came from a factory. Everyone is very nice. Its a little more expensive than Pizza Hut or some place like that, but well worth it!
