Patio Tapatio Mexican Cuisine

Went to Patio Tapatio for the first time. Loved it! Had the Barbacoa tacos, chicken flautas, crunchy tacos, and loaded fries. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The owner Brandon was very friendly and helpful. He spent some time talking to us about other items he recommends. This restaurant is family owned and operated. I personally am a big fan of supporting small and local businesses. Give them a try. You won’t be disappointed!

First impressions were great, there was no one else in the restaurant but as soon as we walked in the lady at the register asked how we wanted to sit and there was 12 of us so she quickly proceeded to put a table together for us and along came the owner to help her out. Which not many owners even show their face. The food was great, it literally tasted home made. Portions are top tier for sure, especially in this economy! The chef/ owner said they’re his grandmas recipes which really touched my heart. He came out to check on us as we were finishing up and really showed he cared. Him and his sons staredted this business and you can tell he has dedication and is very proud, hope they make it far!
The only thing I wish I would have said something about was the music, it felt like an antro (or club) in there and we all had our little kids including a baby. Hopefully that’ll change next time.

Food is wonderful, portions are big, and the service was the best part about my experience! Brandon so thoroughly took care of us and it’s one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in recent memory. The mushroom vegan options are excellent, as was the chicken and fried fish in my burrito. I’ve had a few different items off the menu by this point, and each item I’ve had has not disappointed at all (my favorite so far has been the Vegano fries). It’s a little bit out of the way for me, otherwise I’d come more often! But that just makes it all the more special when I am able to come :)

Brand new place, soft opening, I think the grand opening is Sept 18. Homemade style food, not fast food, but the food is really delicious. I had the barbacoa tacos, with birria sauce, excellent. Plenty of flavor and lots of meat. My wife had the Shrimp fried taco, the sauce had a small spicy kick but overall it was scrumptious and very delicious. The price and the amount of food you get is very fair and generous. Victor helped us, very friendly and courteous. Give this place a try, you will love their food.

Love this place! My partner took me here for lunch! Wonderful service! Very clean dining room! The staff is very friendly and are observant with the menu; they serve excellent Mexican cuisines here. Everything is handmade all the way down to their horchata on the daily. All fresh! One of the servers was very friendly and sweet! He gave us a recommendation for their carne asada fries! The BEST Gourmet quality ingredients prepared with great care! Do not pass this up! The food HITS!

Great replacement for the old Baja Fresh. Food was fresh and staff was super friendly. They’re know for the barbacoa and it didn’t disappoint. Their asada fries are great too they use the right kind of fry. A little on the pricey side but always feels good to support a local family run Business. Only negative for me was the Jamica was very sweet.

Found this place on IG. Had been wanting to go. Finally had a day off and went for lunch with my wife. As soon as we walked in we were welcomed by Brandon. Treated us like we'd been long time customers. Very nice and friendly. One of the other folks there who's name I didn't catch had that same energy. We ordered a hard shell asada taco, fried fish taco, and fried shrimp taco along with a couple of Modelo Negros. The tacos were AWESOME. The hard shell wasn't super thick. It was light and didn't over power the taste of the asada. The fish and the shrimp taco had plenty of meat for the size. The batter didn't break apart when you bit into the taco and the Baja sauce had a great combination of flavor and heat.
They did not disappoint.
We will be back.

Delicious and fairly reasonably priced for a sit down dinner. I ordered the vegan taco al pastor and my husband ordered a shrimp plate that he enjoyed. Staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is nice.

This is an incredible place, from the food to the service! Me and my family came down for a bite and left more than satisfied and definitely will be back! The plates we voted out favorites were the Bean and Cheese burrito, Lengua Taco, Barbacoa Crunchy Taco, Shrimp Diabla crunchy Taco, Hot Cheetohs Quesadilla with the Diabla Shrimp (spicyyyyyyyy, but delicious) and the Melon Aqua Fresca, and Horchata… INCREDIBLE. Thank you again!!!!! :)

Delicious!!! Recommend the barbacoa, crispy chicken taco, and churro! The consume is so good! And the service is wonderful. Enthusiastic, happy to be there, and proud of their food. Nice patio, too!

Food was delicious. I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken. SUPER FLAVORFUL!! If not to busy they can do both red & green.🫶 customer service 10/10 our server was super sweet and helpful. I will be returning.

This is my new "goto" Mexican restaurant. Their food is delicious & authentic. The employees are wonderful & it is nicely located next to the cinema.
My boyfriend is VERY particular about food in general, and more so with Mexican food & I took him to Patio & he loved it.
Please check out this yummy restaurant; you won't be disappointed.

Today Was My First Time stopping at this place. Let me tell you I'm a Big Fan and Expert on Ceviche Flavor. This Ceviche is soooo Delicious I recommend it to everybody. You wont be disappointed. It is Fresh so you know what I mean. Prueben El Ceviche de Pescado No se arrepentiran.Sorry for not taking a picture but too busy Delighting my Food.Customer Service was Great.!! I will definitely stop by again.

a friend of mine recommended this and I was in the area. I don't regret stopping here. The service was fantastic with the employees donning big smiles! There seemed to be such a good vibe. And the food did not disappoint. I ordered barbacoa fries and I just found my new favorite place to find it. Will be coming back to try everything else on the menu! 10/5 stars!

This place is great vibes as soon as you lay eyes on it from a distance. Brandon, the cashier/ server is so polite and handsome; it just adds on to the desire to come back… anyway I came here for the happy hour of $3.15 beers and they come in a bucket with ice which is a wonderful touch because I love cold beer. I didn’t try the food but I saw what people a table over hot and it looks amazing and too notch Mexican food.
Who knows maybe I’ll be back tomorrow

My wife and I heard about a new restaurant next to Edwards movie theater and decided to check it out.
WOW! We were greeted by smiling faces and even had the Owner/Chef explain the menu to us. His name is Stephen, and he’s a local boy (even went to Canyon High)
We had the Fish Tacos and absolutely loved them!
They were preceded with chips and salsa and served by the nicest young ladies. The tacos were so fresh I was looking for the garden, and the fish was white and tender. What ever that sauce was…it was brilliant.
We were so happy with our meal and can’t wait to go back and experience the entire menu.
They have freshly made horchata and bottled Coke on ice as you walk in…and an alcohol license on the way!
In addition, we were welcomed and waited on “hand and foot” by no less than three of the staff (including the Chef).
We are so excited to see locally owned eateries back and thriving in Santa Clarita!
I urge every foodie to add this one to your list!
We will absolutely be back!!
