Mario's Pizza

Just passing through with the family from Philadelphia and we got the munchies and stopped in ☺ on a scale of 1 to 10 with their pizza I would say 9 or 10 if I'm in the area I would definitely stop in again and try some other other food in the atmosphere is very quiet I almost fell out of place the gentleman behind the counter was very polite

Pizza was better than expected....service was great...friendly workers. Definitely a place to come back to.

The $20 Cheese Steaks are huge .

This place out of all the pizza joints in Boyertown, has the crispiest slices, they aren’t burnt, the prices are great for what you get and I had a good experience, overall. Highly recommended if you want a quick slice or just overall pretty damn good pizza.

Hands down the best Pizzas I’ve ever had. Overly generous in today’s world we’re in. Although to some Joe appears to be tired and grumpy. Let’s not forget he owns a business works long hours and puts up with the public. Aren’t we all sometimes? Typically a smile and laughter. Keep making them delicious pies Joe.

This is truly a case of don't judge a book by it's cover. Upon entry I wasn't expecting much but boy did I get a surprise. The Pizza is excellent, the Cheese Steaks are to die for and the prices are unmatched anywhere. Not to forget that the owner is warm and inviting! You definitely have to go here and don't be discouraged by the design of the building itself!

Every single time I come to Boyertown to visit I go to Mario’s Pizza! It is the best pizza this side of New York! I gave it 5 stars but if I could have given it more I would have! Make sure you have cash as it is a cash only establishment. I recommend to everyone.

Ingredients tell the tale! I've bn a customer of Mario's for almost 20 years now because their pizza uses the best tasting ingredients for the sauce and the dough. A lot of pizza places have an Italian name, but I can tell you- Joe is he real deal! Pasta and hoagies are great, too. This pizza brings me back to Jersey City / NYC pizza taste! It's great!

Walked in off the street to have a slice. Ended up getting two because they were so good. The was the best slice I had in a long time. The crust was crispy and light. The bite was a cheesy pull. The sauce was flavorful and the right amount. All around a great piece of 🍕!!!

Fabulous pizza mixed with kind service.The owner noticed that my son was eating my pizza slice (after my son said he wasn't hungry and did not want any - but it looked too good to resist). The owner came out and gave us a slice of plain cheese pizza. When we tried to pay, he refused. Such generosity was unexpected. What a great experience!

My wife and I moved to the area two years ago and set on a quest to find the best pizza in Boyertown, Gilbertsville and Pottstown area. Mario’s wins, hands down. There are a couple restaurants that run a very close second, but it’s a no brainer at this point, when we want pizza. Sausage, pepperoni, little extra sauce is the go to order. Best pizza ever!!!

1st time here just stopped by, walked in and you can smell they made good pizza. Got a slice n a cheesesteak. Both tasted great n good portion sizes. I'd stop again when in the area

Hi Joe! We moved to the area 19 years ago and Mario's pizza was the first meal on the floor of the empty new house. And we still love the pizza. Try the sausage sandwiches and humongous cheese steaks. Seriously crazy big sandwiches and pizza that barely fits in the box. And the generosity and friendliness of the owner is beyond compare. Complimentary drinks or extra pizza and even a holiday party for the customers to come enjoy delicious menu items. A local gem with consistent quality and service and good pricing. Remember to bring your cash.

Nobody makes pizza quite like Joe!

The food here is amazing! We shared a cheesesteak and each had a pizza slice. The cheesesteak was the best either of us had ever eaten and we have enjoyed them for many years at all of the best c.s. restaurants in and near Philly. What struck us first was that the meat was moist and carefully seasoned. Also, the roll was perfect; soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. The pizza slices were also delicious, perfect in every way.
The atmosphere in the restaurant is friendly and cozy. The owner and his assistant were very helpful, as this was our first time there. The restaurant itself reminds me of pizza places from 30 or 40 years ago, but the food tastes a lot better now!
We hope to return to Mario's but it is almost an hour from our home. We will definitely dine there whenever we are near Boyertown. You will probably feel the same!

The portions are HUGE. A medium hoagie is bigger than a large at most other places. Food is delicious and pizza is great!

Hard to find good pizza around here. Mario's is very good. The sausage appears to be home cooked and tasted delicious. Just remember they only accept cash.

My parents have been going to Mario's since I was a little kid. I've know Joe my whole life. His pizza is the best in boyertown. Joe always has a smile on his face and treats the customers right. This is a must go to for pizza in boyertown
