Fat Daddy's BBQ

As i walked in, the staff was very greet. I had the three meat plates. Brisket, pulled pork and trimmed beef. The side of bak ed beans were killer. Highly recommend. French fries are fresh cut.

A must go for some great BBQ.

The Brisket was absolutely delicious! The French fries were perfectly fried and seasoned and the coleslaw was not to sweet or vinegary. Our server was absolutely the sweetest and got us to-go drinks! Will definitely be back to try the pulled pork.

I decided to stop and eat dinner here while returning from a work trip. My server took great care of me and my order was brought to me in a timely fashion. The brisket was excellent and the pulled pork really took me by surprise. I also really enjoyed their potato salad and baked beans. The owner is quite friendly, very sociable, and made certain that the food was good and that the beer was colder. I sure wish I lived closer so I could visit again soon!!

This is the best BBQ in Delaware. I have been eating here since 2013 when I was working on my education at the Campus just a few miles up the road, and I still can't get enough of it. In the back room there are large picnic tables, so groups are welcomed, there are smaller tables in the front of the place for couples. At Fat Daddy's they have BBQ with Carolina, Texas and Kansas styles. I have had the ribs, pulled pork, the chicken and many more items from their menu, you can taste the smokiness in each bite. If you are in a rush you can have sandwiches to go or you can sit and enjoy a full rack of ribs with a generous application of sauce. The in-house made sauce is amazing; they have spicy and regular sauces on the tables. The sides orders are incredible, get the beach fries and cornpone. On a warm day you can enjoy a cold beer while sitting and eating in the outdoor area. The owner almost always makes it a point to come out and talk to the customers and ask how everything is. He really takes pride in watching people eat his food.

I have not been to Fat Daddy's BUT have had their food at Georgetown Speedway. The brisket was excellent. Large portion. I would always get a double portion of baked beans.I used to attend a church that put on a ham and bean supper. We made the beans from scratch. Hence I am an authority on beans. Sadly last year Fat Daddy's was not at Georgetown Speedway. The replacement was no where close at good as Far Daddy's. Figure next time I attend a race there (1 week from now) I will stop by Fat Daddy's.

Had the burnt ends which were great but got a sample of the pulled pork, I’ve had bbq in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and pa. This was amazing melt in your mouth. And the Mac and cheese was fantastic , as was the potato salad was better than my mothers. Fantastic will be back.

Delicious meal, as always. Found this BBQ Restaurant while traveling. We have been making sure to stop yearly on our travels.

Best bbq food I ever had, wings, brisket, and ribs were amazing… but man those smoke wings🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 love that place

Went here for lunch everything was absolutely phenomenal. Brisket was tender, pit beef was great, hot bbq sauce had the perfect amount of kick and flavor, service was top notch. If you want some great bbq Fat Daddys has you covered.

This place is very chill. The ribs and wing a great. Not a fan of the fries or Mac and cheese though.

food was very good. they gave us so much food we had leftovers for two days. but what really surprised me was when we got our check, couldn’t believe how little we paid.

If i could give this place a 10 star rating i would. The food is cooked to perfection weither it the ribs or brisket. The portions are generous for their reasonable price. Even thou it has plenty of seating there is a chance you will have to sit at a communal table. It hasn't happened for me yet but its still a possibility. The staff is extremely friendly and attentive. The ower always comes out while hes cooking to talk to each table to see how you are doing and if you are enjoining your meal. You go away full and ready for a nap. A must go for any of my fellow foodies

THE BEST for catering! Fat Daddys catered our wedding reception and it was excellent. We got SO much food for the price. Everything was fresh and delicious and all our guests raved about it. Organizing the catering was so simple with Brenda’s help who gave us tons of suggestions and really knows what she’s doing. Weddings can be a stressful event - one thing we didn’t have to stress about was our catering. Thank you!!!

Stopped in for lunch. Great atmosphere. Very friendly staff. The food and service was excellent. The owner came by a couple times checking on everyone and striking up conversations with us and the other patrons. Made everyone feel welcome and right at home. The wait for our food was short. The BBQ pork was excellent. Just a little heat to it which we were warned about by our waitress but made me want to try it more. I'm glad I did. The ice tea is great too and the price for the quality was very good.

Its only a few short miles from Bridgeville if you're traveling through on Rt. 13. Its well worth the drive. We will definitely go back. Keep doing what you're doing!

This is our second visit on the way back from the ocean. First visit we both had the beef brisket BBQ (pictured foreground). On this visit my son stayed with the BBQ brisket but I had seen the Pulled Pork Nacho Appetizer (in background) delivered to a nearby table on our previous visit so I gambled on it for my meal. WARNING: DO NOT GET THE NACHOS UNLESS TOU HAVE AT LEAST ONE OTHER HUNGRY PERSON TO HELP YOU DEVOUR THEM! 🇺🇸

Menu had so much to choose from. We had pulled pork nachos that were so good. Members of our party had pit beef and pulled pork. Both were excellent, tender, and moist. The owner came to our table several times and even brought us a generous sample. We will definitely visit Fat Daddy's again.

driving down Rt 13 we scanned google for barbecue and found this place, a few miles off the main road. It was a good choice. We got delicious ribs, wings, and several sides for a "light" lunch and went away very satisfied. The taste of the sauce is smoky and sweet with a good tangy flavor. The meat was all well done and fresh. The service was quick, polite and efficient. I think this is well worth the drive.
