Call them around 9 Pm took about 30 min to get to me but let me tell you how happy I was. So I got off work late to call all bait shops nobody had pin fish except for hooked up. He had already closed shop for the day but for 50$ minimum he said he would bring me bait to me at the bridge which he did. there were more then 30 pins for sure couldn't asked for better service. 40" snook

Came in around 8pm and They were already closed but reopen with a store minimum and it’s not hard to hit minimum at all. Mike came out to help us and was so friendly!!! He answered all of our questions and assisted us with everything we needed. The live bait is top tier. Firm, jumpy clear shrimps!! I also watched him pick all the dead shrimp out of the water and dump them. Also recommended fishing spots! What a welcoming place to be in and a great start to a fishing night!! 10/10 would recommend

To say this shop is amazing would be an understatement. It is absolutely everything you could want and more. The welcoming atmosphere is unmatched and makes you feel right at home! The owners take the time to show you what you need to know and make sure you feel comfortable with it. My moms and I entire trip was made by these lovely people and this business. Super friendly staff, and always live bait! I personally love the fact that there are handpicks shrimp (for the big one’s !!). Every type of takel that I need, and even snacks!! My girlfriend keeps busy with the amazing art selection they have, and she never leaves empty handed! If you’re in the surrounding area, Hook’d Up Bait Co & Art Gallery is a must stop and shop!!!!

Hook’d Up did a fantastic job with our siding project. Our neighbors obviously feel the same way as they continue to let us know. Seriously, if you need work done to your home, you will not be disappointed with Hook’d Up. Best bait shop in Matlacha, customer service is 10 star; tackle, bait and gift shop are outstanding products. If you are visiting from out of town this is the spot for everything fishing and art!! The prices are Right on par. They offer veterans discount!!! Don’t hesitate give them a visit…

We vacationed in Matlacha for the first time this past week and went in search of bait. Hook’d Up was the closest and friendliest place around! Family, laid back atmosphere. My teenage son walked back later after they had closed and the staff, still in the parking lot, offered to open back up and helped him out. Super friendly!

This place is the spot to go for live bait - my son and I went here a few days in March 2024 and the shrimp were huge (which caught us bigger fish)!

Staff were friendly and store had everything you need for fishing, as well as a cool art gallery and fishing apparel. Highly recommend!

Only bait store in lee county I could get live bait on a Sunday night! The staff nice as can be and great bait. Also alot of cool hand crafted stuff in store. By far best bait shop in lee county!

Hook'd Up Bait & Art is great! They always have what you need weather it is live bait or lours n tackle, even beautiful handmade art. They always treat you like family just like they do while you're on the watter with them. Great place to support the local community and small business.

Great service, the guy was really nice and had some good advice. Not looking to upsell you on anything like some other places, genuinely just trying to help you out. The quality of the fishing gear could be better but they have what you need to get by.

We visited back at the beginning of January for some late night fishing on the bridge there. Mike was kind enough to meet me and my family after his dinner to help get us “Hook’d Up” with bait, a Hook’d Up hat and some gear. He also shared his story of surviving the hurricanes and how he and his family helped the community. I would give these guys 100 stars if I could. Can’t wait for our next vacation to Matlacha to meet up with Mike again. Thanks for everything!!

16 sheepshead today thanks to you. Only place in town stocked up with fiddler crabs. Everyone there was super friendly and down to earth. Not trying to do the upsell or predatory tackle sales. Highly recommend and I’ll definitely send some business your way.

The art work looks amazing and is priced accordingly. It's an amazing concept for the entire family. They have a great selection of lures and soft plastics along with bubblers to keep the live bait which you can buy onsite as well.. The employee there is very knowledgeable within the retail market and fishing. He gives great inside on the products they sell. Amazing place to just enjoy. I definitely recommend them .

The best bait shop in town! I brought my husband in and he found everything he needed for our fishing trip! We are excited to go back next time. See you guys next time.

Was out of town visiting family and I left my gear at home, I came across hook'd up and boy am I glad I did. Great variety and great prices and I was able to hit the water and enjoy casting a line!
