If someone didn't tell you, you might have a hard time finding it at first. Maps shows that it is on the Square. It's really in a mall type situation when go go down a sidewalk that's off of the square. The sidewalk is in the middle of the block and leads you away from the Square. The larger free parking is behind this building. Once you see it, it's easy. It was just dark and my first time. Whatever you have to do, find it because it's that good. If you're interested in that fruit whip, it's incredible! To me, it doesn't matter what flavor is there that day.

Top Hat’s icecream is amazing! I usually get their ice cream flight that comes with a few kinds you pick out. I have tried multiple flavors and absolutely love each one. Very friendly service. Highly recommend!

My kids and I had an awesome experience yesterday. We were there early before opening and she opened the store just for us!!! She let my kids try tons of flavors and the amount of icream we got for $13 was a great deal. Really nice staff and a wonderful experience overall. Highly recommend.

A big serving size. Friendly staff. One of very few places in Lincoln to get hand dipped ice cream. A variety of flavors. Last summer they had rhubarb. Not sure why they don't have it this summer. It was SO GOOD!!!

This place was amazing -- a great little ice cream shop that while not too far off the beaten path had some great small town vibes! The customer service was immaculate and the malts / shakes were incredible! Pro tip: get a shake with any of the ice cream flavors they have on "tap" and really blow your taste buds!

Top Hat is incredible and a great new spot to go in Lincoln Illinois. The atmosphere is very upbeat and friendly and the staff are great. One of the very best hot fudge sundaes I’ve ever had. The quality of the ice cream is evident in the flavor and smooth creamy texture. Great place to take the family for a treat with indoor and outdoor seating!!

Went a hour before close and from out of town and had a wonderful experience! Prices were great and so was the service! It is a little hidden if it’s your first time but once you find it you won’t be disappointed!!

The staff here have always been friendly & they're usually giving out free samples. My coworkers appreciate my stops here too as I usually take most of what I buy to work.

This is a regular stopping point for our family and it never disappoints. They recently rolled out ice cream nachos which were a game changer!
