El Mesquite Mexican Bar & Grill

I love authentic Mexican food and this place has it all. The tacos were excellent. Margaritas were on point and definitely had tequila in them lol. A little pricey but not disappointed in the meal, drink, atmosphere and service. No regrets it was worth every penny. The small frozen "house" Margarita was big enough to give me a great relaxing feeling.

The food was excellent! Everything we tried was very tasty. The chips and salsa are delicious paired with the guacamole and the cheese sauce. This is a small family run restaurant that serves a wide selection of great, fresh Mexican food.They have a balcony seating area as well as a few outdoor patio seats. It's pretty busy but they have plenty of room. They have a full bar with some really cool mixed drinks that include margaritas and bloody Merrys and The Mexican Vampire.

Perfect spot for a Margarita Monday Date night. Quiet enough for a good conversation but it also has a lively atmosphere and a patio. Our Margarita flight was nice, and our server Jasmine was kind enough to help us with flavors.

Our food was great, my Flautas were like fancier taquitos and the chicken and beef inside had good flavor and texture. My wife got spinach enchiladas with poblano sauce and they were the best bite of the night. The poblano sauce was super rich and unlike anything I've really had at a Mexican place around here before.

There are lots of Mexican places nearby, but you should choose to stop here because you won't be disappointed with the atmosphere, the service or the flavors.

They also have margarita towers if that's what you're looking for, and Ladies night is on Thursdays. You're welcome.

El Mesquite is GREAT! We ordered take-out for an employee lunch. 24 chicken enchiladas, rice, beans, chips & salsa. It was delicious! Everyone loved it. The owner & employees are very friendly and courteous. We’ll definitely order from them again.

Always a delicious and delightful experience at El Mesquite! The margaritas are so good! There is nothing on the menu that isn't delicious. If you like Mexican food, this is the place for you!

So glad our family stopped here while in Spring Lake. The atmosphere was fun, and the menu was plentiful. The food was AWESOME and the margaritas were huge!

OMG!! The food was amazing!! The staff was very friendly. They are very prompt in the service they provide. Did I mention the food was amazing!! First time stopping there since we were in the area purchasing a vehicle. I will definitely make that drive again very soon.

Great food great fries. Had steak fires and bacon was really good. Great service had a burrito was good but wish they where bigger kinda small.

This was our first time at El Mesquite. They served one of the best margaritas I have had in a long time! My poblano burrito was also great! I would recommend giving it a try.

The jalapeños burrito was to die for! It was sooo good and it wasn't bad left overed. I would come here again and try another dish

Amazing food, everyone was polite and if you needed anything extra you forgot to order, they will politely get what you want. The place is painted in amazing Mexican style with music in the background.

We love this place! They always seat us immediately and bring out great chips and salsa. The shrimp enchilada is amazing, and they have great deals everyday of the week for different drinks. The food comes out quickly and the servers are very friendly! If you’re in town definitely stop by and check it out.

I love that place! They have the best burritos, and a large selection of Mexican food. I love the way its decorated as well.

The only time I have reviewed a restaurant twice! I had the primo burrito with chicken and the flavor, textures,
and sauce were absolutely perfect. Staff is tuned in and attentive and the patio is a nice outdoor atmosphere. We also bring out of town relatives here and everyone has always been happy with their meals.

Had lunch specials, very good. Had house salsa. That was really good too
