This is my first time at a dim sum restaurant, and I was impressed. The speed at which they bring you your food is unbelievable; you'd think they had it waiting on a shelf before you walked in!

Even though some of the food was a little too edgy for my simple Caucasian tastes (jellyfish, chicken feet), I would absolutely return. The variety and prices made it a great place to go with friends and do a "family style" sharing of small plates.

Pretty solid dim sum place. Ordering is very efficient, you can order through your phone, just need to scan the QR code when you are seated at your table. The place was very busy though, we waited more than 30 minutes to get in, so I'd recommend making a reservation beforehand if it's possible. The restaurant has plenty of seating, and even has a second floor. Food was great, I ordered some veggie dumplings, soup dumplings and pan fried noodles.

I have nothing to say besides I TRULY RECOMMEND this dim sum place in Pasadena🔥🔥
The portions of all dishes are great!
Taste just like the local Dim Sum house in Asia country.( where I grew up )

I have the best “spinach shrimp dumplings “
ever today at 🥰Lunasia Dim Sum house 🥰
Truly the best shrimp dumplings I’ve ever had in my life, the skin of dumplings was soft, chewy but not thick. The shrimp and meatballs inside is huge and really tasty🤤

The waitress were super kind and helpful while I’m deciding what to order.
They cook pretty fast, the dining area is pretty nice and clean (compared to some other Chinese restaurants)

I’ll come back again soon ✨🥳

This is a fantastic premium dim sum place here in Old Town Pasadena. The service is great and the food is always delicious. The #75 Beef Chow Fun was my favorite and can't wait to try some of their other offerings. Limited Street parking outside.

Outstanding! The food is delicious. Every bite is like a perfectly crafted experience. Everything tasted so freakin good! The service was very fast and efficient. The sesame dessert balls are out of this world! Perfectly light and crispy on the outside and sweet and chewy on the inside.

Great dim sum found here!! Not only can you get most of your traditional dim sum dishes, but they also have some more modern takes on dumplings and bao. There are no carts, so you order from a check box sheet. They also provide a menu with some helpful pictures for those who aren't as familiar with dim sum. Prices are a bit more expensive than other dim sum restaurants that I've been to, but the quality is definitely there. It gets super busy on the weekends, so I recommend coming early right when they open or later in the afternoon. They don't take reservations for parties less than 8. Service was friendly and we didn't feel rushed. The decor is modern and simple. Public parking can be found close by for reasonable prices.

Excellent food, fast service, reasonably priced. What more can you ask for in this day and age? The salt and pepper chicken wings were especially great.

Got here @10:01, and we only get the second last table. Reasonable price, big portion and delicious. Things that should be improved were quality of chopsticks and temperature of the dimsum.

Took a second to figure their system out but it was a breeze after I got a hang of it. Great tasting dim sum and the price was quite fair for the portion!

We came in after lunch rush. The wait time was about 5 minutes. Each table is separated with two big plexiglass wall dividers. You ordered the food with the QR code. We had a variety of dim sums. They came very fast. The food was tasty.

Best dim sum in LA, and especially delicious har gow! Upscale atmosphere so no cart ladies here, and the prices are a bit higher than other dim sum places, but it’s worth it due to the quality. Usually no wait here before noon on the weekends, unlike at the Alhambra location, where it’s almost mandatory to arrive before opening time. No prices are displayed until the bill comes, though they have the prices on their website. They charge per person for tea. Park in the back for $5.

Delicious dim sum experience especially for first timers. The menu is descriptive with pictures for all the dishes and the food comes out extremely fast! Had the sticky rice, shumai, crispy shrimp rolls, shrimp fried rice, and turnip cake. The dish that impressed me most was the crispy shrimp rolls because they combination of crisp shell with the juicy inside of the roll was amazing! The other dishes were just as good as you get from other dim sum places. The only exception to this was the fried rice which came out salty as hell. Still loved the experience and will definitely be back

We love coming to Lunasia restaurants. This was one of the first upscale versions of Dim Sum available in Pasadena for as long as I can remember, and a nice option outside the more popular areas for Cantonese style cuisine. The portion size here is huge and you definitely should bring a larger party here so you can try more options. It can get crowded here on the weekends, so get here right when it opens or you could find yourself waiting longer than half an hour. They do the traditional items pretty well which include the turnip cake, shrimp hargow, shumai, and string beans. You can't go wrong with a lot of the dishes.

One of my favorite dim sum spots in Pasadena. Priced well, and big portions! Absolutely loved their siu mai, har gow, chicken feet, and fried turnip.

Another Michelin Recommendation ‼ while we were in LA we were tasked with finding a restaurant that would be available on Christmas Day. Lunasia was the answer.

We were pretty certain that we would have to try to get there at least 5 to 10 minutes prior to opening, to ensure that we wouldn’t have to wait as long, however, as we pulled up, the line was already pretty significant. We made our peace, put our names down on the Yelp Waitlist iPad they had, and waited patiently as opening time neared. Within 10-15 minutes we were sat.

Everything was seamless. Ordering was done through our phones, you get to see pictures and costs, along with submitting your order. Amazing for us introverts. The only human contact is when delivering your dishes / refilling tea.

The dim sum was incredibly delicious and fresh. Ordering the duck was the move to ensure the protein goalz were met.

Pretty good! I'd say better than most dim sum joints that I've been to. Long was short. Service was excellent! Food portions were good. Give it a go!

A very good restaurant with extremely authentic food. The Dim Sum Jumbo Shrimp are big and damn tasty. The cooks do not skimp on meat or shrimp. Everything is prepared fresh, fast and gently. Excellent quality at good prices. An absolute recommendation for Cantonese food.

A delightful dim sum experience in Old Pasadena. The Szechuan style chicken was delicious, with just the right bite of spice.
