Go China Restaurant

Absolutely love dining here when I’m in Pasadena. Lunch specials are always a great value and a la cart portions are generous. It’s not just your average run of the mill Chinese restaurant. The outside might look old but it’s very clean and pleasant inside, with plentiful parking in the back. They have a few dishes I don’t even find in other neighborhood Chinese restaurants, like salted fish or crab (real crab) fried rice. My favorite dish here has to be the aromatic fish.

The dynamite chicken is the best thing I’ve had in California so far!

The service was great. We went around 5 and was immediately seated. There server was phenomenal! He refilled drinks without us having to flag him down.

The plating was beautiful. We shared the Indonesian Meeting Fun and asked for medium spice. The shrimp were large in it. The egg rolls were delicious and crispy.

Wow! My wife and I love this place. Great atmosphere and service. Food is always prepared well and it’s hot, which is great.

Very accommodating to food restrictions and sensitivities. Nice lunch specials. I could write more but you just have to try for yourself.

When I was 14 my grandma started taking me here every week. The staff and owner knew us, would even remember my birthday. I moved away but would come back from time to time. I’m 24 now, and even though I hadn’t seen him in years, the owner still recognized me, and the staff is still so incredibly wonderful! Ten years of some of the best food and service, you will not regret trying this place, and hopefully it will become a favorite for you just like it did from me, even if I’m miles away in Denver :)

All I have to say about Go China Restaurant is that it was amazing. The food was great, the price was right and the staff was ever so pleasant and attentive. Definitely one of my favorite new place to visit.

Lovely restaurant. My creamy walnut shrimp was not creamy, but the shrimp was perfectly cooked. Next time I'll order the egg fu young which I sampled from another plate at my table, it was truly delicious. Perhaps the best egg fu young I've ever sampled.

This restaurant is great. The food was amazing. The service was excellent. The restaurant itself was very elegant. While dinning your listening to some very smooth jazz this restaurant is amazing. This place deserves 10 stars🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Really scrumptious food that is very tasty. Fast service. I recommend for the desert to get the Spinoni ice cream cake it was very delicious and makes u want to eat more of it

My husband and I love this place, our go-to when we are craving Chinese food. The host, Tommy, is always friendly, remembers us by name and treats us like his family. He is thoughtful, considerate and remembers my food intolerances. The food comes out hot and fresh and delicious. We always order the walnut shrimp, the best we've tried in the area. Always consistent in quality. My husband loves the wor wonton soup! Atmosphere is nice, looks and smells clean inside :)

New to the area and read reviews about Go China! We Tried the hot and sour soup, short ribs, string beans with beef and Kung Pao combo. All dishes were piping hot and delicious! My fav was the string beans with beef. I had multiple cups of the hot tea 🍵 and enjoyed myself. Great ambiance with holiday music playing lightly in the background. Helpful and friendly service. Parking was convenient and close by. We will be back! :)

My fiance and I decided to try this place and and boy are we glad we did! They're service was great and their food was so delicious I had the sweet-and-sour pork which came with a small bowl of white rice my fiance had vegetable low mein and steamed vegetables. Everything tasted so good and so fresh. I told him we are definitely coming back to eat here again!

Their service was VERY kind and quick. Their food, delicious. Their interior is lovely. I was sad to see someone desecrated their front window.😥 Let's support this business, so they can get a new one!!!

Had dined many times at Go China Pasadena CA and servers Tommy and Giovanni alongside the cooks had provided excellent food and services. Thank you very much for the wonderful services and delicious meals every time.

Always wanted to try this place and finally did. Had the Orange Chicken and Pork Fried rice. Such substantial portions and both were delicious! The Orange Chicken was the best I’ve had. The service was fast and friendly. They gave suggestions and were happy to make me comfortable and have my food ready quickly. This will be my go-to Chinese!

We just found this restaurant and are so happy we did! We really appreciate being able to make custom orders with no hassle. Quality food, good portions, and great customer service! Definitely the best Chinese food we've had in a long time.

Being from NYC I am often in search of great tasting Chinese food. I was on vacation in the Pasadena area last week and decided to search online for a local place near me. After reading some reviews I decided to give Go China a try. So glad I did! We arrived with 30 minutes of closing... Robert (owner or mgr?) was welcoming and we never felt rushed. Attentive service. Food portions were generous and oh so tasty. We ordered a variety of dinners (sweet & sour chicken, orange chicken, mong. beef, etc). Everything was perfect. As a side note - meals were served with a small salad (mostly lettuce) but the dressing stood out - a nice palate cleansing vinaigrette. Decor and ambiance was nice (love low light dining). Perfect in every way! Highly Recommend. A++

Really impressive. Not only was the food delicious and fresh, it was served very quickly. We had a large party, about 20 and our food was out within minutes. Everything was hot, fresh and favorful. The honey walnut shrimp was probably the best prepared compared to other places we have been. The shrimp was cooked just right. The atmosphere is modern and trendy. This is a great little gem. Service was on point. Definitely a recommend for pasadenians.
