5th season with my 2009 cabin cruiser. Brian does the maintenance every year and when something breaks (as boats do) he is by my side getting me back on the water. I put about 100 hours on this boat every year and could not do it without Brian. Much thanks!- kw

Brian is the main person everyone at Bowleys Marina goes to for anything on the boat. Like all of the people who work up here he is considerate and honest. Great place to keep a boat.

I have used Brian's service twice: once to identify the source issue causing the boat warning horn to sound & the second time to replace the starter motor motor on our boat. On both of these occasions Brian was responsive, getting the work done in a very timely manner and his prices were very reasonable. When the starter motor needed to be replaced, I found Brian's price on the part to be comparable to what I could buy the motor for online AND Brian had it in stock.

On another occasion, I had a problem with the boat air conditioning. I reached out to Brian, not knowing that he was away on vacation. Not only did he respond, but he provided me the name of a marine air conditioning repair technician who was able to repair the problem quickly and for a fantastic price.

Last winter, when I was performing my own outdrive repairs, Brian was very helpful in answering any questions I had, even though he was not being paid for his knowledge.

After saving for almost 7 years, I purchased my dream boat: an express cruiser with a nice interior. I did everything that was suggested during the buying process. I hired a surveyor, ordered a compression test, performed some basic research, and asked a lot of questions. However, I was misled nonetheless, and after completing every “needed repair” listed on the survey, I took my dream purchase out to sea for the first time. And guess what? She broke down. Unfortunately, this wasn’t just a one and done, yet this was the beginning of a long list of engine problems that had to be addressed. From needing a new exhaust, to IACs, to replacing mis-matching spark plugs, to wrong sized fuses, to rusty steering arms – I was beyond frustrated. Well thankfully, Brian’s Marine Service was able to help me navigate all these overwhelming challenges, which almost led to me selling the boat. At the end of the season, the port engine blew. I made the painful decision to replace both engines with bran new Stroker 383s and bran new transom assemblies as it made sense to do it all at once. Brian’s Marine Service not only did an excellent job within scope, budget, and timeline – they answered my questions more than once as I sometimes need to hear answers a couple of times. Approaching 25 hours on my new engines, and I am very happy. They have 3-year warranties backed by Mercruiser and will likely last 15 to 20 years. Same with the transom assemblies. The boat will likely last to my golden years, and I plan on enjoying every minute of it. I highly recommend Brian’s Marine Service for any small or big job as he has done a lot for me. He is also reasonably priced if not lower priced than some of the other marinas within the area, and his staff treat my boat like their own.

Have had my boat at Bowleys Marina for 3 years now. Brian's Marine Service LLC has performed winterizations, 100 hour motor services, and wrapping of the boat every year. They take a tremendous amount of pride in their work and it shows. Their efforts have helped me maintain my boat in the highest working condition.
