Mikato Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar

We went here for my boyfriends daughters 18th birthday. The chef we had was decent, and food was ok. I love the atmosphere here and always love the shows. I wished our chef had a lil better of personality but it was average all in all. Would definitely go back.

Truly one of our favs for over 24 years!

This was an amazing meal with an amazing chef. Alex was our hibachi chef and he made it so much fun for my 8year old nephew. Also we had three meals, two sushi rolls and dumplings for $120 so I would say the price point is perfectly fine !! 10/10 experience will definitely come back

I love the food and service! The workers there will recognize you and be friendly, inquiring about your lives. The food was authentic and traditional. However, I was Deaf and had a service dog then someone approached us at our seats to tell us to move because his son was allergic. That was very rude when that family was not even sitting at our table and I felt very uncomfortable after that encounter. My dog has a right to be here with me since he was trained to serve me anywhere.

Definitely a ten out of ten! I’m writing this after my second time here and the first time I was here was so much fun! I’ve only gotten takeout so far but I definitely plan to dine in eventually, it’s peaceful and a great environment to eat in if you want to have a get together or a small meal alone! The nicest worker there is definitely Jada, such a sweetheart so shoutout to her!

We had the best experience our server and the 18 year old cook were awesome. We have never experienced such good service as we did tonight and their was 14 of us. They were both attentive to our needs and helped tremendously with our 3 year old. We had the best Anniversary and it was our daughter in laws 20th birthday it was a night to remember thank you Mikados so much!!

It's one of my favorite locations for sushi in St. augustine. I like to sit at the sushi bar for a view of them working. Service is quick and polite, and the sushi never disappoints.

Everything was great. We all had a good experience. Food was great , atmosphere on point and service as well.
Came here while visiting and will return if we ever visit area again.

Wonderful place for a family outing. Food is terrific, and the staff is a lot of fun. Great for children and adults.

The food is always delicious. The portion size is generous to say the least. You can never go wrong with any of their sushi and hibachi dishes. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Server was attentive and sweet, food came out in a timely manner, food was hot and fresh and absolutely delicious! We will definitely be back again!

We had an amazing time! We aren’t from the St. Augustine area and traveled there for a small vacation and couldn’t be more happier with our decision to travel there Bc it was amazing! Thanks again for having us 😁

My family LOVES Mikato’s. I am born and raised in St. Augustine, and Mikato’s was a staple growing up. I now take my husband and children , just the way my parents did my siblings and myself.

Very clean establishment. Very professional and courteous staff. The habachi chef we had was amazingly. Our entire table felt like we all experienced the best hibachi show ever! The food tasted amazing. Best filet mignon I've had in a long time! I wish I lived near this place but I am just visiting.

We did have to wait a few minutes before seating however that's normal due to the fact that they get a certain number of people before you get seated at the hibachi.

It was very delicious and would definitely go back for more.

The food was AWESOME! We enjoyed the performance by Johnson! He’s the best ever!!!
