Don Chuy Mexican Restaurant

This was our first time to eat here. The service was amazing, very attentive. The food was delicious and piping hot. The atmosphere was great and the restaurant was very clean. We definitely will go back!

We did Don Chuy's for a late lunch, it was not that busy but still you could tell they are all about service. They took our drink orders and returned with them really fast. We had the chips and salsa and the chips were warm and crisp, the salsa, I thought was good. Just enough heat to make it interesting but not set you on fire, anyone else might think their salsa tame but I'm not a fan of super spicey foods. I ordered the lunch fajitas and they were very good. The chicken and beef were both very tender and flavorful. Our server returned to the table more than once, like I said they are all about service. As first impressions go, this one was very positive.

They have the nicest staff here. My son wanted to color and they ran out of crayons, so they brought him markers. They continuously checked on us. Food was great, service was great, really nice atmosphere!

I was reluctant to go back a year later because it was such a great experience the first time. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food and service was still great. It is a bit expensive but a good value. Now I can add consistency to the review. I look forward to my next visit.

Went here recently. It was a good experience. Service was really good. The server was attentive and friendly. The guacamole and fresh chips were the best. The dishes tasted good. The only suggestion would be for the kitchen to send the meat in the entrees out warmer. This is a good place to eat and I will come back.

Who would have guessed such a great Mexican food restaurant would be found in Ruston? The food was chef quality and the atmosphere took us right to the festive lands of Mexico! The service was outstanding!!

Simply the best Mexican restaurant around. Their ingredients are of the highest quality and the flavor of the finished product in phenomenal! Think Superior but right here in Ruston. And don’t even get me started on the margaritas. Best and strongest around!

I had chicken nachos...very good. The salsa was good, just the right amount of heat. The restaurant has an authentic Mexican feel with modern touches. Staff was nice.

The place is beautiful service was excellent and the food was bountiful i had the mexican tuna and my family had the molcajete plate and wow the presentation was definitely there! Food was flavorful and the jalapeños spicy! Definitely will come back. Sadly i miss the introduction of the male server working that night but he was on point with drinks and service!

Fast reliable service and the food was great. Spacious seating area and lively scenery with historical portraits. Plenty of T.V.s across the bar but with no sound. Food prices are pricey, but is well worth it. Definitely a spot I will visit in the future.

OK HERE WE GO, This is by far the best mexican food place in the entire city. we went to all of them so dont believe the other reviews on tripadvisor, yelp, etc.. they have real latinas working real hotsauce and plenty of food. i had a dinner plate and three beers..it was $30 with tip. tv's everywhere and clean. great job all and thnxxx

The staff was amazing, they sang happy birthday to my 80 yr old mom and she had a shot!!!! The food was delicious, I'll go back next time I'm in Louisiana !!!!
