Decent little park. I take my niece here sometimes to play. There's a gazebo area to sit that lights up at night. Very nice. Great place to relax and look at the Mississippi River.

I come to River Garden every Tuesday for Yoga that the Downtown Memphis Commission hosts. It’s wonderful. It is great for families with children or for couples who just want to lay out on the lawn and chill. The park is clean, the greenery is nice and I really like the seating additions they’ve made. I do feel safe there but I would like to see the security ride by a little more often, just to display a presence. If you come, please note that we do have a homeless population in downtown so they usually sit where they can buy never for very long.

Very beautiful and serene! Landscaping done very nicely. Nice place to walk or sit listen to the birds or have your children play.

It's the smallest of our parks but with great atmosphere for family, kids, and couples. Natural scenery from the river scene to thought out gardens. Swing for adults, playground for kids, covered area to sit and watch your kids and tables with sits to romance your mate. Compact but complete. Canoeing, biking and scooter rental. Colorful Lights in the trees, and Memphis bridge in all it's Splenda in the background scene. So peaceful and away from the Beale street crowd.
