It is a really lovely restaurant. I had my dinner here. I am on a solo trip and the servers at this place are really welcoming. This is one of the expensive restaurants here at Idyllwild. The locals love this place, now I know why.
The pizza was extraordinary (Alle Verdure), and it was full of vegetables that go so well with one another. They have olives, breadsticks, and butter to start with which makes you order the wine to go with the food. I could not resist!
Overall, I would say I loved this place. I’ve heard their seafood is worth trying as well, if you are up for that. They have variety of options for vegetarians as well. You can’t go wrong with any of the dishes here (told by the local, confirmed by me, haha)

The food was good and not that expensive. The pizza was oily and a bit salty, though. There are 2 floors and it looks amazing! I love the bread. It's very soft on the inside and crunchy on the outside. It's an amazing place and I would recommend it.

2nd time:
When I came, the top floor was unavailable, so I went to the back and it was beautiful. I had lasagna, a pizza with egg and potatoes on it, and a pepperoni and mushroom pizza. The lasagna was absuloutly great, but the pepperoni and mushroom pizza was better than I remembered. The view was amazing and I highly recommend this place.

Nice Italian restaurant in the heart of Idyllwild. Appreciated the vegan and gluten-free options. Delicious pizza made in front of you at their pizza bar in their beautiful outdoor seating area.

Absolutely the best hidden jem in the mountains! The steak was so tender and perfectly cooked! So much more on the menu to try!

Awesome experience in authentic Italian cuisine! The oysters were so good too! I had the salmon...so yummy! My daughter the rib eye..excellent and my husband the spaghetti and meatballs! The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing and the service great! We will definitely go back again and again.

This restaurant is one of the best (if not the best) places to eat in Idyllwild. The ambiance is great, the staff is on point, and the food is delicious. We got a margarita pizza and the meat lasagna. Great flavors and nice sized portions. Not to mention the straw in the Arnold Palmer was a pasta noodle! Genius!

Incredible experience!
We had salmon crudo, rabbit cacciatore, wilted greens, pasta with clams and mussels, all very very good. Not just “overnighting in a mountain town very very good” but, very very good anywhere.
The orange water cake with lemon sorbet was light and perfect. And the pistachio gelato…. Best ive ever tasted, so so creamy

Drove up to idyllwild to ecape the desert heat and had Lunch here. What a treat! Beautiful venue. Live music outside with excellent service and delicious food. One of the best dining experiences I've had in a while! I had the cacio e pepe with porchetta. My husband had the linguine with chicken in a creamy lemon sauce. Both were delicious but the red quinoa salad with orange, fennel and roasted pistachios was over the top! Can't wait to come back and try one of their pizzas.

Amazing Italian. Beautiful back patio. Highly recommend! We had pizza appetizers, boar lasagna and lemon torn chicken fettuccini. Everything was delicious! Brought a bottle of wine and corkage was $15. Celebrating birthday with flourless chocolate cake!! Can’t wait to go back!

The food here is fantastic. Went for my daughter's birthday with a small group. Took a very long time to get our food, but thankfully we weren't in a rush and really enjoyed ourselves. Can't wait to go back.

Absolutely a delicious experience, the atmosphere was great, the hostess greeted us and seated us immediately. I would recommend this beautiful and delicious place to anyone I know. Food is amazing!!!!!

Excellent spot in Idyllwild for a romantic date or even a quick pizza lunch. We've been a few times but they made Valentine's Day special. Every pizza has been special and amazing. The pastas are clearly made in house and al dente. I haven't tried the dessert yet because I never seem to leave room. Service is incredible.

The outdoor patio is really nice! There's plenty of tables all spaced out comfortably apart! The service was also very good!

I had the Linguine Bolognese, which did have a little kick to it, but tasted really good! There are alot of flavors in it, and none of them were too strong. The meaty flavor of the beef and pork was balanced with the sweetness of the carrots!

The house bread is also very delicious, tasting both light, airy, and warm. The crust was perfectly firm, while the inside was dense and moist. It pairs perfectly with the butter, and is definitely worth the cost!

I would gladly come back here again!

Only good place to eat at Idyllwild. Upstairs dining very quaint. Everything was delicious and they gave us a happy anniversary card, very touching. Don't get their hazelnut cake dessert. It wasn't that great.

Incredible food...True Italian... everything has so much flavor ..you can tell time was spent on the dishes they serve,! Kati served my table and was very attentive and always delivering food and coffee on time. Never had to wait! Desserts were really fresh and tasted so good! Closed Wednesdays. Dinner only during the week. Weekends 11:30. Lunch dishes and then dinner around 6 I think. Kinda a transition from 5-6 into dinner menu but all is so tasty. Two days in a row I've eaten here and I wish I lived closer. I'd be here even more,! Thanks and enjoy! Oh I need to compliment Bridgett and Briana be who served me on Monday night. Besides the wonderful food. They too are the reason I returned for a second night. They were welcoming and attentive and because it was an overall outstanding experience..I returned.... KUDOS

Great find in Idyllwild. Very good Italian food. There is an enclosed front porch with a firepit and heaters, so despite the cold outside Temps, it's warm. Inside there was a burning fireplace. We had lentil soup, a porkchop on polenta and eggplant on spaghetti. All excellent. Great service. Since it was my birthday, they comped the dessert of my choice. My husband had a dark porter beer and I had a cherry old fashioned. Both were good. There was an upstairs we did not see and outback, additional seating with heaters.

Food was fantastic. Atmosphere was peaceful and elegant and the view from the front deck at sunset during our meal was a delight. I really enjoyed the lasagna with wild boar which was a filling portion. Both pizzas were very good. The service was great and our server was on point with refills etc. I will definitely be dining here again in the future.

FERRO was recommended to me by my Airbnb host. I wanted to treat myself, so this place looked like one of the best places to do that in Idyllwild. I wish I had stayed on their back patio where the live music was happening, but I didn’t know about that going in. I had the linguine with clams and mussels. Lovely spice and tang from the red Chile flake, lemon, and splash of marinara. All shellfish filled cooked, al dente pasta. Paired it with a Chardonnay from Napa off their wine list, based of off recommendations from the waiter. And because it’s an Italian restaurant and I have a duty to try as much tiramisu as I can during my short time on this earth, I ordered it. A good portioned slice, honestly I think it could’ve used more lady fingers and the ones in there wouldn’t have gotten hurt from a longer soak in the espresso and rum. But take that with a grain of salt, I ate all of it. Great experience here overall!

Lovely seating area in back and the breakfast pizza was amazing after a long hike. Can't say enough amazing things about this place.

The sausage and fennel pizza is drool worthy. The crust was chewy and delicious. The polenta was cheesy and creamy. Service was great along with the mixed drinks.
