North Shore Golf Course

Played March 26, 2024 with my son who is stationed on Lejeune. We absolutely loved this course. Coming from Texas we didn’t have much to compare North Shore to and frankly didn’t have any expectations. We just wanted a good course to play. We played this two days after a 3” rain and couldn’t have been more pleased. For the time of year this course was exceptional and the greens were great. Staff and fellow golfers were friendly. Looking forward to playing this again when I go back this Summer. And the 8’+ gator was a bonus!

May 28, 2024 One of the nicest golf course I’ve played. Only one better was in Punta Cana Dominican Republic and the price was $495 a person.

Played in July 2024. Excellent public course at a great price point. Course was in really good condition -- fairways, bunkers, and greens. Challenging layout was compounded by strong ocean winds, which are in your face on most holes. An absolute must play on any visit to Topsail Island and surrounding areas. Looking forward to playing again.

Played North Shore today and it was great. Amazing scenery, friendly and helpful staff, and the course is in great condition. Minimal elevation change and greens were slower than I'm used to but it's a challenging course which I thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting the area. The only thing that could've made the round better is if I'd have gotten to see a gator on the course.

Was one of the only people smart/dumb enough to try and get in 9 holes on a 106 heat index day at 5:50pm. Super friendly and helpful staff. The course was in very nice shape. I look forward to playing a full 18 when the weather is more favorable.

Great place all year round. Course is in outstanding shape. Big John and staff very accommodating to the local HighSchool Dixon and youth golf allowing plenty of time on the range and course. The members constantly help us out. A+++++

I've lived here for nearly 20 years and am an avid golfer. How have I never played this course before? The course was in great shape and had beautiful tee boxes and greens. We even got to see a few alligators on the course on 2 different holes. They have a stocked pro shop and a bar with apperizers. I will definitely go back to play again. Keep up the good work on the course.

Nice layout, very friendly staff. First time here for me and my son. Starter gave a ton of helpful information. Course was in great shape, greens were in good shape. Beautiful views. Gave a junior rate on the weekend which I didn’t expect. Looking forward to playing again. Fun course to play.

Great challenging course. Like most courses, it would be even better with bunkers being reworked, cart paths are bumpy in spots from tree roots.

Fun interesting golf course. Bring your fairway finders and you will have no issues. Nice greens. Ive played a few in the area. This is best so far, Castle Bay is in a few weeks.

So, I played here in late March and the course was still a little wet and hadn't grown in from winter. Definitely loved the track and will play it again this summer when next I return. Staff was super helpful and accommodating and got me out as a single ahead of a couple of groups. Two and a half hour rounds are a thing of beauty. Bonus points to the marshall who pointed out the gator snoozing on 13.

Course was in great shape. Staff was very friendly Greens were excellent. Was a little pricey at 95 dollars.

Course was well kept, staff was friendly, views on the holes were very relaxing to see. If you’re looking for a course that is semi-challenging with water hazards and is maintained very well, I would recommend coming here.

This golf course is phenomenal. The price is high but it's definitely worth it. It was awesome seeing the waterway and alligators in the ponds... great course and friendly staff. 5 stars every time!

Can't say enough good things about this place. From the staff to the locals to the absolutely phenomenal condition of the course and views. Here from Michigan and the souther hospitality is real. All around great round.

I RECENTLY VISITED NORTH SHORE GOLF, WE PLAYED ON MAY 16TH & MAY 18TH 2023, The course was excellent, and in great condition . The greens were nice 👌. We had a great time ,The people were pleasant & helpful.

Golf course is in great shape. Greens are exceptional. Pro shop staff is always helpful. Best option around by far.

Beautiful, well maintained golf course. Greene are small and fast. Best golf course in the area.

From check in to loading up our clubs, loved it. Course is challenging and beautiful. We will be back.
