Roy Rogers

This was an easy to get to Roy Rogers with plenty of parking. The food options are simple and very similar in pricing to Wendy's and Chick-fil-A. The burger that I had was actually cooked and not microwaved. Big kudos for that. I haven't eaten at a Roy Rogers since maybe 1991, so this was a pleasant and nostalgic treat for me.

I have never been to a Roy Rogers before. Today I had to get my car fixed next door so I decided to check them out for lunch while I waited. What a surprise! I walked into a counter full of ladies with smiles on their faces waiting to greet me. I gave them my name and order, proceeded to get my drink and my order was finished, just like that! Super quick! I watched as people came in and was greeted with the same kindness I was......and as people left and was called BY NAME and told to come back and visit. I watched as a mom with her own children and children she was babysitting came in and ordered.....all the ladies treated the mother and kids with such patience and kindness as they tried to figure out what they wanted to eat. I watched as the mom got all her kids in the booth and was scrambling to find extra hands to help cause she seemed overwhelmed....one of the ladies behind the counter brought all their food to the table and served the mother and the children instead of calling the mom up to the counter to get her order. I watched as a gentleman went around to each table and offered mints, opened the door for people coming in and leaving, picking up trays from tables when he saw a guest was finished eating, asking everyone how their food was. The customer service at this place was over and beyond what you typically see at any fast food place. I am not sure who the hiring manager is, but he/she has surely done something right! This place was busy, and I now understand why. I will definitely be back!

Roy Rogers is one of my favorite fast food chains. This location is always well staffed, clean, and friendly. I've eaten in the dining room or gone through the drive through at least a dozen times and never had a bad experience. Love the toppings & condiments bar. Great burgers, fried chicken, and I love the mashed potatoes too. There aren't that many Roy Rogers out there but if you're looking for a quick bite in Frederick this is the best you can get.

Delicious fast food! It’s an Arbys meets Popeyes meets Burger King. They have roast beef sandwiches better than one you would get at Arby’s, Biscuits better than Popeyes, and the burgers are probably better than Burger Kings. Overall amazing food, spotless and clean restaurant, and super friendly staff! The bathrooms were not the best, but there is a sheetz nearby for restrooms. Great place to stop at for diner!

This Roy Rogers was the cleanest I have ever been in. They have a gentleman who greets you when you come in and then he makes sure that your table, the drink area, and fixins bar is absolutely spotless. The food is a typical Roy’s fare which I love. My fav’s are the cheeseburger and Double R Bar burger. Be sure to top them off with Roy’s barbecue sauce. 😊

This Roy Rogers location is one of the best I have ever been in. The guy that cleans the dining room never stops. He cleans, he restocks, he cleans again. He greets you when you come in. The behind the counter staff were lightning fast. The manager is out there on top of everything. This location is a gem. This goes along with the other Fredrick locations which are just as good.

We had a fantastic experience here! Had car trouble and got breakfast and waited with the family while the car was being worked on nearby. The food was great and the manager stopped by our table and was very understanding and let us wait! After a couple hours he even gave us some free drinks out of sympathy! All together felt very welcomed and a part of the family atmosphere here!

For a Roy Rogers, this is a good one. The staff is very nice and provide great service. The food is good too, better than some or even many of the other fast food chains. If fast food is what you are looking for, this is one of the better places you can stop.

Best Roast beef burger, steak & cheese sandwich.

Chicken was super fresh, bacon bourbon sammich easily beats Popeyes, store manager was super kind. Mashed potatoes were meh but only a tiny down to the awesome that was this visit.

Staff is super friendly, and you can dine in during these trying times.

Get the strawberry shortcake. Don't argue or kvetch about calories. GET THE SHORTCAKE.

We need more Roy Rogers, especially if they are run like this.

I went here for lunch, I live in WV so this was my first time to sit in. The cashier was so pleasant and then another crew member who was cleaning the sitting area greeted me as well. That's rare to get greeted by two different staff members at different times and it was very genuine. My food was nice and hot and well put together. I have no complaints and the wait time was not too long even with it being busy.

Got the gold rush sandwich and oh my goodness it is definitely one of my favorites now. Everyone was super nice, definitely would recommend

I love there sourdough breakfast sandwiches I order it with ham egg cheese. It’s always good and delicious and with breakfast fries.

Food is always fresh, store is always clean. I believe it was the manager but she came to my car and told me I can call the number on the receipt and pre order if I had another big order in the future, so we wouldn’t have to wait long. We always come to this place, customer service is top notch! Thank you!

I work across the street at Mr. Tire so I frequently visit this Roy's location, and it's by far the best Roy's I have been to. Everyone is friendly, service is fast and food is always good. I don't know how they do it but they have a great team at this location. Highly recommend.

Good variety of fast food style options including fried chicken and desserts. Like many restaurants there are far fewer people doing in store dining than in the before-times. This location is far easier to enter from the southbound side of the highway..

Have been going to this location for years. Always friendly and good food. The manager has been their 38 years and is the best.......Lucky Robert
