I have had a wonderful experience with F8 Well Centers of Fort Collins! From the first call, to the evaluations, to working with Dr. Walden and my metabolic coordinator, Penny; I have been treated with care and respect every step of the way. I am so grateful to have found a doctor who is willing to look at the whole picture of my body and health and put me on track to turn my health and my life around. I have learned how to heal my body with the proper nutrition, exercise and vitamins. I would highly recommend F8 to anyone who is looking to start feeling better, start sleeping better and who wants to take control of their health and future.

I was experiencing low back pain and inflammation in my hip from a terrible diet and year of neglect. We did blood work to determine that my liver and kidneys were not functioning correctly. They decided to put me on a restriction diet to get things back inline. We spent the next few months cleaning and improving the functions of my gut and organs. Wow what a change! The inflammation was reduced by 90% most days as long as I stuck to a healthy diet. Then the back pain start to subside. Working with there nutritionist really made me look at food in a different way by understand how fat, fiber and proteins work together. Highly recommend F8 Wellness.

Working with Dr. Ben and Shonna has completely changed my life. I engaged with the F8 team because I could not lose any weight despite extensive efforts. I came into this ready to get my health back after many failed attempts with other doctors, when I found them I was already a couple of years into being sick and not feeling like myself at all. I was ready for it to be several months before I started to feel just a little bit better, but following their protocol that came a lot faster than expected and I just kept getting better and better. I am nowhere near the end of my health journey, but continuing the path they have given me I know I will get back to my old self but even better. And I will retain the knowledge that I have made here and be able to help myself in the future and even others around me. I followed them on Tik Tok for about 6 months before deciding to call. Best decision by far. After my local doctors couldn’t find the reason for my stomach issues for over a year, numerous adjustments on my thyroid meds, I can now say I feel like I’m 18 again (in my 50’s). F8 has changed my life! The changes in my health through their council and expertise has been the key to me feeling better then I thought was possible. I did not begin the program to loose weight. I started with f8 because of how I felt and what my blood work was showing. I’ve always been pretty health conscious thought I ate good, but had no clue what I was eating the way I was eating it was having the impact it was. I discovered Dr. Ben and F8 online, on Tik Tok of all places! I kept coming across his videos talking about Hashimotos and Autoimmune disorders and how medications alone would not treat the root cause of the problem. At this time of my life I began to get really interested in holistic routes of healing as I’ve been in healthcare for the last decade of my life and saw how Western Medicine was only putting a bandaid on most people’s issues. For my 30th birthday I decided it was time to make a decision to change my life and make an investment into my future. I’m not going to tell you this was an easy process, overhauling my entire diet and everything I knew about “being healthy” but every step of the way the team at F8 helped to lead and guide me the entire way. I had an absolutely great experience working with this team, Dr. Katie and Dr Ben and my metabolic coordinator Karissa. I would recommend them to anyone serious about changing their lives, and getting truly healthy. Cost should not be a worry when it comes to our health, this is the best investment anyone could make. Try them out, you really have nothing to lose, but only health to gain.

I was able to lose 15 lbs, found out I had not one but two autoimmune disorders and was able to get all of my numbers including my insulin resistance down to optimal levels.

My journey with F8 started after my daughter had been on the program. She had experienced great results in her health and I was looking for something to make my twilight years better. My goal was to try to get off cholesterol and blood pressure medication and lose about 10 lbs. I also had been diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (stage 1) but given no idea how to manage this by my regular doctor.
After 3 months (of my 6 month program), my labs showed improvement in cholesterol and I have discontinued cholesterol meds. My A1C levels dropped well into the normal range (I have been pre diabetic for about 3-4 years).
While the mid-plan labs also brought up new issues, my plan was then altered to address those.
I an nearly done with my 6 month plan and currently down 18 lbs… that’s sort of a bonus.
The F8 program does require you to make a commitment both in time and $, but if you are looking for a plan that is designed specifically to your body, then I would highly recommend it.
The plan may include wearing a continuous glucose monitor (CGM). While this device wasn’t always accurate, I looked at it as a tool to show me what foods caused spikes in glucose and how much. I then could make a list of foods that were safe and those I should avoid or not eat regularly. My average glucose went from 105-120 down to the 90’s and low 100’s.
Currently using a lumen device to further educate me on my own body’s metabolism. I always thought I had a slow metabolism, but after working through the F8 program have found that my body now is functioning much better.
I plan on using the support of the F8 labs and team as I go forward, because the support received is much better than regular medicine provides. I am not a “one size fits all” person. I am unique. And so is everyone else. This program can work to fix the underlying issues you have.

I started my health journey with F8 Wellness in July 2023 for my hashimotos and other health issues. I just finished in January 2024 no longer pre diabetic, 30 lbs down (before, I would just look at food and gain weight) and feeling great. I came to Dr Ben due to a multitude of issues caused by an adverse reaction to the Covid vaccine. I was diagnosed with POTS, Neuropathy, vertigo, tinnitus, Cardiac issues, Sjogrens disease, nerve damage and more.
Dr Ben and Sausen have carefully provided a protocol that I just completed and I can report that I am 90% healed.
I will be continuing with Dr Ben to further improve my health and am beyond thankful that the team has been a part of my journey.
