Sears Landing

Had an awesome time here with family and friends. They also are dog friendly if you sit at one of the outdoor tables, which we did and it was well worth the wait.

Wonderful service and smiling faces everywhere, it’s also pretty cool to see people driving in on their boats to eat here so it’s like a “dock and eat” kind of deal. Would like to try that out next time. Cheers!

We had a party of 8 and we were seating very quick and orders were taken promptly with a smile upon our waitresses faces. The service was great the food was fantastic and everything was fresh tuna was grilled to absolute perfection and mahi was delicious kids tender meal was real chicken tenders and nice portions on every order we didn’t go away hungry and prices were respectable for every dish. Thank you for the wonderful service atmosphere and food. It was nice watching the fish jump while we ate. We will be back again next year for another fantastic meal. Don’t forget to TIP.

Absolutely fan-fish-tastic!!!! Wonderful service, delicious food! Crab fritters are amazing. And the scallops and Mahi were the best I had on the island during my 10 day stay. If I lived here, I would definitely be a frequent flyer. We will not miss stopping at Sears Landing next time we come visit!!

What a treasure this hidden gem is. $5 drink specials on Friday and Saturday. The absolute best margaritas and bloody Marys not to mention the food. My husband said his hamburger was the best he had ever eaten. Keep up the good work!

Fast service with smiles all around. Crab fritters where great and they provided 4 sauces to taste. The Mahi Mahi sandwich with plantains was awesome. They look over cooked but they are as they should be. Very ripe, sweet and well done. Great job.

Really good food and you can enjoy outdoor seating which is nice. The building itself isn’t much to look at but the food is worth it so is the location.

You can sit inside or out and enjoy the water. THey also have a boat dock. Very friendly and attentive staff!

Wonderful service! Enjoyed every bit of lunch. My only regret is that I didn’t get a bigger bowl of crab soup!

The atmosphere was great (I'd give it a 6 if I could!), the service was perfect, and the food was decent. But the unbeatable breakfast prices make this place a standout! We'll definitely be going back tomorrow!

This restaurant is really a hidden gem! It wasn’t easy to find but saw the reviews and took a chance and it was well worth it! Seafood had the perfect amount of batter and their homemade sauces were a great touch! Even though we didn’t really have room we tried the Key Lime pie and it was excellent- homemade whip cream made it stand out! Service was great too.

Oh. My. GOODNESS! This place was SO GOOD!! The food *Mouth Watering!!* The service *Debbie was Super Sweet!!* We started with Mahi bites 🤤 and then had the grilled Mahi with crab cakes with cheese grits, Yummers! And last and BEST of all was the Key Lime Pie!! You HAVE TO save room for this!!! We WILL be going back at least one more time this trip!! Highly recommend!!!

This was the first time my husband and I had ever been to Surf City and we knew we wanted a good seafood dinner. We were not disappointed at all. We both ordered a combination plate with 3 choices. I chose the side salad and added the fried green tomatoes. He chose the french fries and added slaw.

The salad was one of the freshest, crispiest salads I’ve had in a restaurant in a very long time. The fried green tomatoes were breaded lightly and fried just long enough to crisp them up a little and they were amazing. My shrimp, oysters and scallops were incredibly fresh and had none of the deep fried flavors that so many fried seafood places have. The scallops literally melted in my mouth. Lordy, my mouth is watering thinking about it. My husband had shrimp, scallops and flounder. The flounder was so flaky and tender and very lightly breaded.

This was the first of many trips to Surf City because we have a nephew who just bought a place there and it’s in a campground that is perfect for our RV. We will definitely be back to Sears Landing for more great seafood.

Stopped in for a quick bite on my way out of town. Sat at the bar. The bartenders name was Trish and she was top-notch. Everything she suggested was fantastic. Even though I didn’t order any alcohol because, she checked on me regularly and made sure my water was full. The mahi and scallops were fresh and cooked perfectly. I had it with a fresh and hearty green salad. Very happy with my experience, will definitely come back.

Great food! We have eaten here several times. The food is always delicious and served very fast after ordering. There is a comfortable outdoor seating area if you have to wait for a table. Service is usually pretty good, but could be improved. The restaurant is always busy, so servers are obviously in a hurry to turnover the table and get a little rushed. Overall, excellent restaurant and great service! Highly recommend if you're in the area.

This was our first visit and it did disappoint! The server was very friendly and answered all our questions. Sitting outside on the deck we had a great view of the marsh! Our food was delicious and arrived quickly. I would highly recommend the crab cake and grilled shrimp! There's 6 different kinds of sauces. Be sure to sample them all!

We had a great time here. Sat outside and really enjoyed the nice breeze through the patio area. We went before the rush (about 3pm) so we had no wait and plenty of seating. By the time we left it was packed! I had the Fried Green Tomato BLT, family had the cheeseburger and the platter of oysters, soft shell crab and flounder (with plantains as a side). We also had the Blue Crab Fritters which were really good as well. Highly recommend coming here but plan on coming at a down time. There is NO PARKING when it's packed full, unless you're a boat, there is plenty of docks for boats to come in and enjoy food as well.

Found this spot on google- looking for a place on the water. Looks small from the outside. But man it was amazing- so peaceful out on the back deck. Service was friendly. Food was the best- I am not sure what they season they burgers with, but it was one of the best burgers I have ever had!

Our family loves Sears Landing. While waiting for our table, we grabbed drinks from the bar and sat on the deck out back, looking out at the water and boats. So pretty! The food is delicious, huge servings. We loved their apps and seafood. The Mahi, tuna, scallops and crab cakes are all delicious.
