MakeCakeBar has provided cakes for several of my personal and business related events- and has never failed me once! Her cakes are as delicious as they are beautifully designed! As an Event Planner, I appreciate her attention to detail, excellent customer service, and her ability to create an unforgettable cake for any budget.

I found them for a 50th birthday cake to be done with only one weeks notice. Very impressed, snacking quality. I would only suggest to be specific in any details. I sent in photos of a certain type of cigar and brand but the humidor cake box wasn’t the same. Minor detail that was overlooked. Cake was definitely the best red velvet we’ve ever had!

First off let me start by saying how impressed I was with the cake I ordered. I was completely blown away by the design; I mean it looked better than I could have imagined. The flavor I chose was red velvet, which is my personal favorite. I was not expecting the cake to taste as good as it did, but it blew me and my friends away! I will most definitely order from here again.

If I could give a million stars I would. Honestly this cakery is pure perfection from the 3D art details to the moistness of the cake, you would not want to eat it but rather keep it as a souvenir. I love how creative the designer/baker Trinetta Bryan is. She listens, draws then brings your ideas to edible art. Her cakes are made with a copious amount of details that anytime I need a cake I feel secure knowing she is going to create something even better than what I envisioned! Hands down the best and only designer with the amazing design skill set in the DMV. Book and you won’t be disappointed.

It was my friends birthday and she made such a great cake. My friend loves Gucci and the purse she made for her was exceptional.it looked so real everyone was surprised. So I thought that was it, oh no the flavor and taste.... omg.... sooooo moist and yummy. I can’t lie I haven’t ever tasted a cake like this before. I know who I’m getting to make my birthday cake.... now I gotta think what to get made or maybe I’ll let her design something since I’ve seen her ig page and her designs are so bomb.

Had custom made cupcakes with our logo. The design looked great and the taste was much greater! Would definitely use them again!

I was really looking forward to having my cake made by Trina. Unfortunately my order was canceled and now I won’t have a cake for my birthday.☹

I'm happy that they were able to fill my order in such a short notice. They are really kind and the customer service is amazing! The only reason I’m giving them a 3 is because I wanted a vanilla cake and I got a lemon cake and the kids really did not like it.

I am updating my star review. I sent and email to Trina asking about the flavor of the cake and has not responded. The design of the cake was cute, it did seems as though it was sliding on the backside of the cake. The cake had a whole lot of frosting

Update: she stated she would fix it by getting me another cake at a discount but when it came down to it she charged the same price for a smaller cake saying it had more detail. Which was simply not the case. I wish I could post pictures to show you folks.

What I ask for vs what I got I paid $170 and the necklace on the cake came cracked up the cake looked rushed non was edible I never ate the cake I usually don’t do this but this cake was supposed to be a surprise and I was hurt also the flavor taste like coconut or something I seen her work and it’s beautiful I guess I just got the bad end

Several things were wrong with my cake but the worst of them was that i payed $140 for a single tier cake that was so short and choc full of icing. Cake looked super rushed and i requested for marble cake and got vanilla. She also in my opinion purposely didn’t post any pictures of my cake because of how ugly it was. Half of the cake was literally icing. Barely any cake to eat. I’m super disappointed

The designer is not professional, I’ve had a time frame of 7 days for my son's birthday, I asked her for transformers design, she said i can do it,but non edible, next day I ask her to proceed and she disappeared… It’s the ultimate non sens

I drove there thinking its a store and found none , and also called but no one answered , waste of time
