Gator Cove

I stopped for lunch and tried the cheeseburger and fries.😋
The burger was properly cooked to my preference of medium rare. The beef was flavorful. The toppings and bun were fresh and tasty. The burger was a handful of messy deliciousness. 🤌 The fries were good as well.
We dined outside and enjoyed the view of the canal. The road noise was a little distracting at times.

Food was amazing. Ordered the steak special and was amazing. Service was good for how busy they were. Definitely worth a stop and super happy with the location. Reason enough to stay at the hotel.

Employees are polite. If you have a problem with your meal, they are there to take care of it right away. 😎

We stayed at the adjoining hotel for the weekend and ate here our last night. The food and the bar drinks were very good and even though they were short staffed and very busy the service was great and they handled it very well!!! Very surprised and happy…

This is a nice Lil hideaway for not just the tourists but the local people as well. Good food good service and a great atmosphere to have a beer.

Place is a hole in the wall. Kinda of a dive bar,
but food is spectacular! We had the chicken quesadillas, grilled chicken sandwich and mushroom burger. Cooked perfectly as requested. Server, who was also the bartender was super. Give this hidden gem a chance.

Wonderful Hospitality! My BFF is a bartender/waitress there! The other bartender is awesome as well! I was only able to try their French Fry basket! Not only were they delicious and an affordable price, there were enough fries for 3 people! I am going back soon!

Best place in Homosassa for drinks, lunch or dinner. Very affordable. The atmosphere is casual, yet classy. Great staff, cook and food. Truly love this place!

The deep fried Reuben was sooo dang good! Light and fluffy on the outside, hot, tasty cheesy deliciousness on the inside. Plus it didn't fall apart!!! The potatoes skins were made with fresh baked potatoes and were yummy. Definitely a hidden gem. Kudos to the woman who came up with the deep fried Reuben (sorry, didn't get her name) and the regular who showed us the ropes. Will go back if in the area again. Oohhhhh, the prices were shockingly low! Small place but oh so worth it!!!!

Food was good gator was a bit too chewy. Some peices were softer others too chewy. Kimmi was a wonderful waitress i recommend. Will say its inside a hotel but they have pretty outside seating

Been here for drinks a several times. Service was good.
I heard the food was good. That of course is subjective to what you consider to be good, but I will probably check it out.
There are some sketchy characters in there everytime I go but I don't worry about them. It just brings the will to return down a bit.

We came to swim with the Manatee and stay close to Gater Cove, I wasn't sure about due to the reviews. Sometimes, people write bad reviews to discourage others visitors. The bar/ restaurant is clean and nice, and food is delicious. Staffs are welcoming and friendly. Kara , our waitress is friendly and always with a smile to her customers. The food is delicious, we tried the gator tail, 1 lb of shrimp and the fried calamari, delicious; the amount of food is reasonable and not expensive. The drinks are good price as well. Our check was less than $70 food and drinks. I highly recommend this place. Next time we come to the area, definitely it will be our dinner spot.

This is a fun place . It was recommended highly. Remember as far as atmosphere it is a bar as well as a restaurant. The portions were LARGE!!! Service was excellent. We had to bring much of the food home with us .
We will definitely be returning.

Since they hired new people and got rid of the trouble makers!! This place has jumped leaps and bounds! The food is the best. ( home make potato skins) MY FAVORITE!!! PROPS TO MY FAVORITE WOMAN DAYTIME COOK FOR THAT IDEA!! They are doing FANTASTIC!! The staff now needs to stay, they are kind and give the place a much better vibe. No more grumpy cooks or bartenders! Worth every dime we spend there.
