The parking is available in a parking lot, Keep an eye in the roaming pedestrian, extra attention would be needed due to the nature of the location.

Great convenience store with loads of snack, drink, alcohol, and food options—plus the kitchen stays open late. You can’t go wrong with the Gyro plate or the Cheeseburger w/fries. Best burger you’ll ever eat. Highly recommend this established business.

They make the best juicy burgers EVER! Taste so good that they melt in your mouth. And, you can pay extra to get shrimp added onto your burger as well.

Whenever I’m in Baton Rouge and want chicken shawarma, I come here. I love this place. Sometimes the food is prepared a little differently than what I’m used to from them, but it’s always been excellent. There was a week this past Summer where I ordered from them everyday. It’s a cool place.

Been here forever, staple of the community, good food basic groceries and even smoke products. Been coming here for over 15 years! Gets very busy on weekends because of the bars. Make sure to keep in mind that they are busy and popular and are not fast food but good food!

This place has great food and the owners are so nice. So far, I have tried the wings, gyro, philly cheese steak, burger, and crawfish pies. All were excellent. My goal is to try everything on the menu eventually. So glad Akasha market is here.

Akasha market is awesome and is definitely a baton rouge legend. Its been around forever and the family that runs it is crazy nice and friendly. Their burger is a monster and famous in baton rouge. The tigerland food scene is growing but this is definitely still the best place for amazing greasy soul pleasing drunk food when the bars close. If you go to LSU, check this place out. Theres even a hidden and semi-secret hookah lounge/ outdoor cafe/ patio thing that overlooks the golf course ponds where they'll set you up with hookah if you're cool and get in good with them.

I love the foods from Akasha Markst! I bought the shrimp po-boys for my mother and she love it!!! Their cook is very accurate and know what to do with foods!! Also gyro. This gyro sandwich is so delicious and will make your mouth watery! It’s 100x better than the halal guys. Akasha Market foods are made from homemade.

The catfish poboy competes with Tony's across town. Skip McDonald's around the corner and get a burger here. Great selection of household items, canned goods and beverages including alcohol. Awesome staff.
