I'm not one to write reviews but this place was so fun and informative I felt compelled to do just that. Looking to get back in shape and not one for the gym, I figured I would give Martial Arts a go. Needless to say I am happy I did. Master Rodriguez has been amazing. He is clearly knowledgeable, but perhaps more importantly he is great at transferring that knowledge to beginners like myself in a way that makes it fun and easy to digest. So what started as a way to get in shape, has now become something so much more. I couldn't recommend this place enough. Check it out!

I had an awesome experience. My granddaughter and I attended his seminar. He was patient, his teaching skills were funny but yet on the level where everyone can understand. He has no problems showing you over and over again until you get what he's teaching. This is something that I know my granddaughter and I will want to do many more times. Thank you so much. My first time training with Sifu Pedro Rodriguez and it felt like I’ve been training with him for months already. Keeping things professional and light-hearted simultaneously is a balancing act he’s got down with a way of explaining the material in an easy to digest, easy to implement same-day kinda way. You won’t walk out a master on day one but you’ll definitely walk out a little taller having tools in your belt you can use from day one and only get better at as you continue to train. Bang for buck, you can’t beat Sifu Pedro’s direct to the point, no-secret sauce approach to teaching and his ability to adapt his lessons to virtually anyone in any situation or environment. Grandmaster Rodriguez is absolutely incredible. Not only does he have an inexhaustible amount of knowledge on many martial arts, he also has an uncanny way of teaching that can give you the analogies and comparisons to understand what you are doing - and more importantly why you do them that way. I have only recently been involved with JKD and Sifu Paul Vunak's PFS, however training with Sifu Pedro Rodriguez is extremely helpful. Even when training with students locally, he will stream over a video streaming service or recorded video. He's aware of the students within his class and the students learning from the stream at home or gym. He's able to explain to the students and showcase on camera to describe the feeling so students can clearly train and drill even without a partner if that is their situation. Overall, he's an amazing instructor and I've had an amazing experience so far. I appreciate his dedication to preserving the Jun Fan concepts and integrating so many useful martial arts in a clear MMA Matrix breakdown.

Came here for a seminar. Pedro is super knowledgeable and a truly skilled martial artist. He is also just fun to learn fun and makes even the grueling parts of training entertaining.

My first time to meet and train with Pedro was a month ago in Southern California with Pedro and Paul Vunak.
I cannot tell you how learning from Pedro changed my life with respect to staying safe, fighting to stay alive and training in a system that makes sense.
Since then I have received more insight from Pedro on the phone calls, texts and emails we have traded back and forth. He is never too busy to help mye or anyone who asks.
If you have not trained with Paul or have not met him I urge you to do so as fast as you can. You will be changed.

Grandmaster Rodriguez has been an amazing mentor of mine since 2011. His ability to make martial arts functional is amazing. GM Rodriguez has a firm grasp on both self preservation and self perfection.

GMR’s style of hapkido is the best mix of seemlessly incorporating many martial arts while eliminating the wasted motion/effort common with most styles. Instructors’ great attitude and unsurpassed knowledge instills a high degree of confidence in the skill sets we learn. Highly recommend for experienced fighters and beginners as well!

Sifu Pedro is one of the best in the business. I’ve only known him a short time but he knows so much about martial arts and Jeet Kune Do. Being a martial arts practitioner myself for almost 20 years I can say that Sifu Pedro has a lot of knowledge to give.
