Ive been working with Reid at Independent Gym Supply for almost a year now, and only have positive things to say. Reid cares about his customers and only sells a quality product. He puts in care to make sure that his used equipment is properly maintained and beautifully refurbished, and he stands behind the machines. Reid has a large base of work out machine knowledge and can source equipment to match your unique needs. Reid is very personable and a joy to work with.

Whether it's a home gym or small business - Reid's got a large selection of equipment you should check out. I got an awesome squat rack, trap bar and other gym tools all at a reasonable price WHILE being great condition. And unlike other sellers, he also provides great customer service.

Reid is an individual that has much integrity and is always trying to give the best service. His communication is great and he truly cares. It's also helpful that he is a fanatic about gym equipment.

Reid and his company Independent Gym Supply, have rendered Craigslist irrelevant; period. He is super knowledgeable, his prices are great, he has equipment you won’t find anywhere else, he is willing to deliver and install and most importantly, he is HONEST! In fact, on more than one occasion he has even gone so far as to talk me out of purchasing some of his pieces, not because he didn’t believe in their quality but because he believed they would not ultimately fit the vision I had for my home gym. Found Reid on Facebook Marketplace. I was in the market for a functional trainer for my home gym and he had a commercial unit in great shape for less than the home units I was looking at. He sent multiple photos and videos depicting every angle and showing the machine in use. In addition I had concerns if it would fit in my pickup truck and he sent me a video of him loading it into his truck! Above and beyond excellent communication. I drove 4hrs from NJ to Boston and picked up the unit exactly as described! I would recommend Reid to anyone!

I bought a treadmill from Reid a while ago, didn’t use it that much so I sold it. The new owner was having some trouble with it and he was willing to speak with them to potentially help them with the machine.
I think this is great! It’s not often that someone will take the time to help the person they sold a refurbished machine to, let alone help the person they sold it to. It just shows that Reid has a lot of integrity.

I’ve done a lot of business with Reid and he is the best! Friendly, knowledgeable and always has that rare and hard to find equipment. Whether it’s new school or old school equipment, if he doesn’t have it in stock he can find it. His prices are unbeatable and his hours are great. I won’t do business with anyone else.

Gone are the days of meeting a guy from Craigslist on a Wednesday between the hours of 5:00 and 5:30pm and hauling his leg press up the basement stairs by yourself. Just back up to the warehouse doors and Reid will load it for you!!!!

Couldn't find time to make it to the gym with two young kids at home, so decided to build a home gym - finding this place was perfect for getting it all set up. Reid has a large selection of used equipment, and I was able to get a rack, a bar, a bench, and all the free weights I needed. Very friendly and great prices. Will be back when I'm ready for more equipment!

Got Reid's business information from a friend of my brother's and, despite being a beginner in the home gym space, felt comfortable making my limited starter needs known.

They had tons (literally) of used plates in good shape and a lots of cardio and common gym machines on the shelves. Got what I needed at a great price!

Owning a gym can get expensive but I was able to link with Reid to get some great prices on multiple items in the past year. From weights to machines and racks. If there's an item that I need he is able to find it and make it happen. I definitely reccomend Reid and Independent Gym Supply.

Actually changed my life. I first saw an ad on Facebook Marketplace for some plates that were priced very well. I was completely new to FB Marketplace and was building a home gym. The owner was very patient with me. I really put him through the ringer though, as I kept changing what plates I wanted and the quantities. He took pictures of the measurements for me and we never even met before, I was a first time customer. Nevertheless, he was extremely patient and professional; I can only imagine he's had an extensive background in customer service. I finally drove out to Natick and was blown away by his operation. I was so intrigued, I had no idea how he had such an extensive inventory. I talked with him for probably an hour, I told him I was about to be a father, and he started to talk with me about that. I was truly amazed by how great the conversation turned out to be, I knew that I'd be back.

When you feel like you're the only customer he is selling to, that's when you know you're getting high quality customer service.

At the time, I had never seen anything like it, and I had no idea how he was sustaining a profit with such good prices. I had to learn more, and as my relationship grew with him, he was extremely helpful and gave me
some fantastic advice. This really lit a spark in me, and I began to buy and resell for my home gym. It has been a fruitful side gig, and I would encourage anyone with a home gym to turn it into a business. My home gym is like a water faucet now, constantly getting new items and selling old ones. It's a great way to make extra money on the side, and none of this would have happened if it weren't for Reid (the owner).

I have bought from Reid numerous times since then. I moved out of the area last year, but whenever I visit MA, I always make an excuse to come here and find something to buy. I can be pretty indecisive when it comes to buying equipment, and Reid does his best to accommodate my needs, no matter how difficult I can be. He really does go that extra mile for his customers, whether it's giving them a heads up on inventory he will be stocking soon (he knows I love Ivankos, always tells me if he's about to get some), to explaining what the pros and cons are to different items if you are unsure of what to get.

Reid is just someone you want to be around. I might not even be looking for anything specifically, but I'll go to Independent Gym Supply and find something to buy just to see and talk to Reid. I could talk to him for hours, he's just so genuine and honestly cares about getting you the right equipment for your needs. I have a very strong background as a salesman, and he is one of the most authentic individuals I have ever met. Zero alarms go off in my head when I come here to buy from Reid, he is just a salt of the earth person that really wants you to be satisfied with your experience there.

I still keep in touch with Reid, he is a terrific person and I consider him a good friend. If you are looking for gym equipment, do yourself a favor and go to Independent Gym Supply. Five star service every time, no pressure to buy, no upselling, and some of the best customer service you will receive, bar none.
