Lower Bank Tavern

Great local ramshackle bar located in the middle of New Jersey's Pine Barrens. Everytime I am in the area, I stop in for a few beers. Mostly locals who go there, but everyone is friendly and welcoming. You will make friends quickly. Hamburgers are awesome and the beer is cold.

Me and my wife stopped in for lunch today around 2PM we both got burgers and beers the burgers are phenomenal!! The server we had was very nice. She was a pleasure to talk to.

Stopped by here today on a stormy day with several friends of ours. After getting stuck in hour of riding through a storm, this spot was a great relief. Service was great and very friendly just like the owner that we had a chance to meet and exchange stories. At one point the entire place was all involved in conversation. What you would expect out of a real life Cheers. Didn't get a chance to eat the famous burger as we just came from a food truck event but we will be back many more times. Thank you guys for the great hospitality and great long Island ice teas 😜. Can't wait to go back.

The ultimate Piney bar, great burgers and chicken parmesan, locals scene but welcoming to non-locals

Great local dive bar. The pool table is level and in good condition. The food is always good and the beer is ice cold. The bartenders are always friendly and the patrons are nice too.

Awesome place to go for food and drinks! I visit here frequently, and have always experienced great service as well as food and atmosphere. The bartenders are friendly, and the owner always provides great conversation when he’s there. Stop in if you are in the area, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped on from Canada (driving all across the US). This place definitely has a great vibe, and anyone passing through should stop in.

It's the diamond in the rough kind of place. This place has great food. The burgers are amazing! The wings are flavorful.

Local biker bar where all colors are brothers from other mother's . Service is fantastic as long as staff is not overwhelmed . If they are it takes a minute so settle down .🤟

Great lil out of the way place! Indoors or out, there's plenty to like! Only draw back is that it's a wifi dead zone.

I'm gonna give this place 5 stars for the food. Service also great. Atmosphere won't be to everyone's liking...picture old school bar. Its comfy.

I am a big fan of the chili they serve here and I have to comment that the staff as well as the clientele is always pleasant and engaging.

They have some of the best chili, if you haven't had it you should try it. I had their bacon cheeseburger with a drizzle of barbecue sauce last night with fries. You can tell this burger is not a frozen patty it was absolutely delicious.

Had an old friend from the island who lived in Lowerbank named Bruce Bryant. When ever I was in that part of the Pines I'd stop by and have a couple cold ones with him. Nice people out there. RIP Bruce old friend. I miss that little dog named Emily too. She was a good girl.

I manage a bar, so I really appreciate great friendly service and inexpensive delicious fresh food. Their wings are yummy, and I always get the fried olives. The folks you share the bar with are local Pineys, so I feel right at home. I dont have a favorite bartender, because each one is just perfect. If this is where a barman goes to relax, you should feel confident you will have a great time here as well.

Hole in the wall in the middle of nowhere with great food!! If you're driving through the Pines, put this place on your path. Lots of locals and bikers.
