Sunset Seafood of Tuckerton

We had a great meal. Food was outstanding and service was very good. Great views of the bay from this second story restaurant. My wife had the scallop special and I had the halibut special, both were excellent. The scallops were seared perfectly. The New England clam chowder was also very good. Dessert was key lime pie and lemon mascarpone cake. Both were delicious.

The food was excellent! I had the lobster roll dinner with 2 lobster rolls and fries.
Bf had crab cake sandwich with onion rings. He said it was the best crab cake he ever had. Views were specular I felt like I was on vacation. Server was extremely friendly and made the experience very memorable. Definitely will be back!

1) Great finding a Good Seafood Restaurant that is super easy to get to on the weekend.
Did Not have to deal with route 72 traffic.
Beautiful view of the Great Bay too.
2) The food distinctive seafood seasoning. You can tell they keep their fryers oil very clean. Light batter and the food portions were a good serving.
3) The utensils were super clean .
4) Service was upbeat and spontaneous.
5) The prices were competitive.

Definitely a repeat visit.
For a restaurant that opened a few months ago, they are professionally on the way to becoming a landmark restaurant.

Our group of nine showed up for our 6 PM dinner reservation at the Tuckerton location only to find out that I made the reservation at the Seaside Heights location. Duh! Sunset Seafood in Tuckerton was more than happy to accommodate us. They were full inside, but it was a gorgeous night so we ate outside. We had apps, entrees and dessert. The food was delicious! Our server Bridget was amazing. Since we were outside, she had to go up and down a couple flights of steps many times. She did not miss a beat. I highly recommend Sunset Seafood!

Went here for dinner last weekend and got clams appetizer to start and the special which was a spinach ravioli with brandy sauce and scallops. It was AMAZING - highly recommend! Also great views on the water & love the complimentary bread and infused olive oil to dip!

The food was amazing! Kim was our waitress and was very nice professional! My wife and I loved her! Great first experience even with a windy rain storm passing through the staff remained calm and I made sure that every turtle will cross the road safely! Highly recommend Shrimp Parmigiana with a Vodka Sauce!! It is absolutely delicious. My husband’s favorite is the Lobster Fra Diavolo (lobster, clams, and mussels) over homemade Fettuccine.

Here tonight for our 41st Anniversary. The food NEVER disappoints! We brought mom along with us, 91 years old, designated driver!! lol. Started with mussels in white wine and garlic and fried calamari. The broth with the mussels could be a soup!! My wife had the Hawaiian Tuna, mom had a shrimp/scallop special with capers over home made fettuccini that looked more like tagliatelle!! So good. I had probably one of the best ever bone in pork chops. Super delicious, juicy and hot to the last bite. I had it with hot and sweet peppers, broccoli rabe and roasted potatoes!! Get here before the summer crowd hits!! Oh and of course our server, Carly, was awesome!!!

First time here. Arrived to find out you need to make reservations and they were booked out. However, the manager came over and said he would figure something out. He moved some tables around and created a new table for 4. Food was awesome.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at Sunset Seafood, which was previously Panini Bay. We enjoyed our meals immensely and our server was excellent. I had the shrimp and scallop platter and my husband the seafood platter. We like that this restaurant is a BYOB and has a beautiful view. We will definitely return.

Highly recommend!! Right on the water this quaint restaurant has amazing food! The service was excellent. The clam chowder was the best I have every had. The calamari was light, airy and cooked just right. Main entrees were outstanding the Halibut special was light and sweet. The lobster rolls (yes rolls they served 2 on one plate - with very decent size rolls - not a hot dog bun size) had amazing flavor. Would definitely return!

My search is over. I have been trying different restaurants to go to by boat and I don’t need to look any further this place is perfect; the food, the view, the staff, everything. It has a nice dock and is easy to get to by boat. I think I will just go here when I want to dock and dine, nowhere else.

Food was amazing. Loved the fresh flavors of the Mediterranean Salad. Oysters were chilled and delicious. NE Clam chowder was just ok… lobster roll to die for. Definitely go for the food and beautiful view. The “service” … that’s another story. There hardly is any. Never asked for a drink order, had to ask twice for a box for leftovers, more than twice for the check. Never asked if we wanted dessert or coffee. Waitress was friendly but WOW… not good at serving tables.

The menu had a lot of different options.
We started with a Caesar salad, mozzarella sticks and baked clams oreganata. All 3 appetizers were delicious.
The clams had an awesome lemon sauce.

For dinner, we had the lobster your way, porterhouse pork chop, chicken franchise, lobster raviolis and chicken fingers and french fries. The food was perfectly cooked. Nice size portions. Not one complaint. Everything was delicious.
Key lime pie for dessert.

Hopefully they stay open all year round.

Had the most wonderful clam strips and friend had coconut shrimp. Both absolutely delicious!

Welcome to our neighborhood! Our first dinner experience here was 5 star from the moment we walked in the door until the moment we left. Fantastic water views- great scenery from every seat in the whole restaurant. Our server, Kim, was friendly and attentive. Food was delicious. I had the Chicken Francaise. The chicken was perfectly cooked and the sauce was flavorful and just the right consistency. My husband had one of the specials, lobster and crab stuffed ravioli in a light cream sauce. He described it as delicate and delicious. The two staff clearing tables were friendly and very efficient. They worked so well together to keep the areas clean and prepare the next seatings. Looking forward to returning! We wish the owners continued success in our area!
