Gettysburg Chocolate Market

This is a really neat chocolate shop in Gettysburg. They have awesome milkshakes and hot cocoa if you stop in on a cold day. It is pretty close to the town square and is very reasonably priced. There is only one bathroom in the building and employees were very nice.

This place is a wonderland. I feel like I have been transported into a childrens book when I stepped into this place. The options available are bountiful. I wish I had come here for coffee as well instead of the commercial place I went to down the street. There are so many options, prepare to be indecisive when walking in. The staff is friendly and helpful. I can only imagine this place during the holidays.

I mean wow! I can't believe I've never been here before. I went to celebrate my anniversary and it was so amazing. Very cute and romantic even with all the seasonal decorations! Extremely nice staff and a huge selection of chocolates and coffees! The hot chocolate is to die for!! Please pay them a visit! 10/10!!

This is a really cool little chocolate shop! I tried the salted caramel chocolate covered pretzel and it was delicious! They have freshly made chocolates as well as prepackaged bars from all over the world. We saw bars from Iceland, Switzerland, Madagascar, and many others. They also serve coffee and specialty drinks (I will return some day to try— they sound so yummy!). Even if sweets aren’t your thing, this is a cool little shop to walk through, and it’s connected to the Christmas shop next door.

The chocolates here are great and the coffee is also fantastic! I got an orange bloom coffee iced, and it was delicious, plus the cups are so cute!

Very charming place. The staff were super polite and the overall atmosphere was very joyful. I loved the large variety of chocolates and drinks. Would definitely come back if given the opportunity.

Pumpkin roll latte was amazing! Chocolates were tasty and staff was super knowledgeable and friendly. Will definitely return

Just FYI info. If you come to Gettysburg just know the shops in town open at 10am and most close early. I would drive through the battlefields early and then go to the shops. Bring plenty of quarters for the meters if you park on the street. We love history so we mostly went to the museums and battlefields to see the monuments. The diorama is really cool too.

I wasn’t sure if this place would have good coffee since it’s called the chocolate market, butttt you have to go check out their fall drink menu !! The coffee is so good.

A very good place for a chocolate lover, I had hot chocolate, it was a bit sweet for my taste but still good. The handmade chocolates are fantastic. They even have ice cream!

I drove up to Gettysburg for a long weekend visit. Many other businesses - both shops and restaurants - were closed on week days or closed really early, so when I was looking for a sweet treat that wasn't ice cream, I stumbled upon this place. It was open after 6pm, and the posted hours said the were open until 9pm, so it was one of the few businesses near Lincoln Square that was still open on a Wednesday evening.

There were a few patrons inside, and the 2 employees behind the counter greeted me and were so knowledgeable and pleasant. Who knew that buying chocolate had so many options? They described all the different specialty chocolates and the local companies that make them. I ended up selecting several pieces and they were each absolutely delicious! The peanut butter milk chocolate ones were scrumptious.

There are tons of options (plus some sugar free items) in the glass cases, but there were also shelves of other packaged chocolates and candies, with many European brands. The store itself was really cute and well kept. It connected to a store next door, which looked to be all xmas stuff.

I will definitely have to stop in to try a coffee next time I come to Gettysburg.

We stopped in for some coffees at GCM and got a latte and a mocha both with whip cream and omg the whip cream is DELICIOUS. None of that reddiwhip bunk but home whipped THICK whip cream that actually tastes exactly like German whip cream! Super friendly staff and a lovely atmosphere. Definitely returning

Beautiful location! We were warmly greeted and enjoyed coffee. The building is beautiful and has a lot of seating. We will be returning to try chocolates!

Visited here after shopping at the Christmas Haus. Very cute interior with antique handrails, bar back with stained glass windows and woodwork, and stained glass chandeliers. I had the Gettysburg Market Hot Chocolate. So very good, topped with whipped cream and chocolate sauce. Also bought some candy for presents.

Stopped in today and so many cool options! The candy, the sodas, the cafe, and being attached to the Christmas store was great! I really liked the cream sodas, fudge and hard candy. If it wasn’t so hot today I would’ve grabbed the chocolate too! Would go again
