Morning People Cafe

Good breakfast place. Stopped off before the eclipse, and glad I did. Friendly folks. Took a bit to get a plate, but it was well worth the wait. Steak was cooked to order and plenty of toast. For sure will be back when I'm up this way, again.

This unassuming cafe had excellent service and good food! I especially liked the hashbrowns. If you ever don't feel like making your own omelette I'd definitely recommend the western. Also I don't know how the toast was so good but it was perfect and buttery.

Food was ok. Normal america breakfast, includind the coffee. Staff was very freindly.
If you are craving america this is the place.

Absolutely love Morning People Cafe! Stopped in for breakfast to go this morning and found out they’d just made Texas sheet cake and banana split cake. So, I grabbed some of each. There’s nothing better than comfort food made from scratch. And Morning People Cafe is the best around! Friendly staff who make you feel welcome, delicious food and everything you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

We took a chance on this place about six months ago while looking for a new breakfast place and have not stopped going back since! All the servers are so sweet and the food is always good. If you haven't given them a shot I definitely would recommend doing so!

I always forget this restaurant is here, but not today. Peak wait times are accurate, so if you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. The food is freshly made, and the facility is like an old school diner. The staff is super friendly. Definitely recommend.

Staff were very friendly the environment was also nice and clean very relaxing. The food was good I ordered the French toast with bacon it was delicious 😋 I forgot to take a pic but I made sure to get my other order which was big breakfast 2 eggs, toast, two sausage patties, hash browns also very good the sausage and the bacon was really good quality meat. The price were very affordable and great pricing they had pibb xtra which is a + in my book because it’s my favorite drink. Overall great experience and food definitely suggest breakfast here and plan to come back.

Great food and great service. I love that this place only serves breakfast. The only thing that needs improvement is the decor but the food made up for the lack of style. Will definitely eat here again, I hope they extend the hours.

Open breakfast and lunch. Found this gem. Fast service. Good portions. The breakfast bowl is one of my favorites. It was delicious and filling. I'll definitely be returning.

Had breakfast here. Food was good and staff was attentive and friendly.

I ran across this place a few weeks ago and stopped in for a quick bite bc I definitely didn't want fast food again. Much to my surprise I enjoyed it more than I expected to! So much so I returned again last week and will return again! It has an at home small town vibe a lot like a restaurant version of cheers! I really enjoyed it!

Great home cooked breakfast and friendly waitress

Our first time at this restaurant was today, What a delightful experience! Place was so nice & clean, The waitress, Sonya , was absolutely terrific, The atmosphere there was so comfy & down home, not to mention the food that was delicious! & a great price! We loved it!! Thank you & we’ll definitely be seeing you again.

I have eaten at this restaurant since back in high school, which is 40 years ago. But today was my first time eating there under the new owner and even though I had a cheeseburger dressed with french fries, it was the best meal I've had out in long time. It was fresh and hot when brought to the table delicious and I have never ordered anything ever but coke when for my drink but I tried their sweet tea and it was as good as mine that I make. And we found out that on Mondays and Wednesday evenings they are going to start serving dinner. Which Mike's Grill which is what it used to be never was open past 1:00 only served breakfast and lunch with plate lunch specials, the new owner will be offering dinner specials and it is all homemade food not pre-made. Looking forward to trying their dinner specials, I have a new place to have a good meal and great service. 😋

Food is good and big portions, just what you expect from a Diner. Open 6 days a week.

They purchase the restaurant from the original owners and have made some needed updates. I cannot wait to watch them grow and really establish themselves.

We had a great breakfast. Really good service and good food. The omelette was great!
