Rare Company

First time going and will recommend. The atmosphere was so nice. Decently priced. The flow was good too. Not waiting too long between courses and also not being rushed. Food was delicious and unique and the presentation was beautiful. Our server Brenden was very observant, friendly, and gave great recommendations

I’m so glad we found this place! It was completely by chance when we were looking for places to eat last minute, but let me tell you- the steak was the best I’ve had in years (and I’ve worked in a couple upscale restaurants). The calamari and shrimp were excellent as well! I loved the cozy atmosphere we will 100% be returning!!! Wonderful customer service and also BYOB, so come prepared with a tasty wine! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a steak/seafood spot in LBI 😁

Been to Rare co now at least a dozen times. They are our new favorite restaurant in the area. Love the food, and love the staff. They do not disappoint. Keep up the good work ya'll.

Went here for an anniversary dinner with my wife. 28 amazing years, but this isn't about us, its about the food....

Place is fairly new open about 4 months or so. This place is gonna do really well. If your in town from NY and tired of fish and bored with old causeway, and are looking for a steak dinner this is your spot. We had a meal that rivaled any NYC steak house. Food was cooked perfectly, simple, flavorful, and good portions. I had the bone in rib eye, the mrs had the filet mignon, both were excellent. They do have a nice fish menu too.

Staff are pleasant, and attentive, food came out in reasonable time. Zach was fantastic, super friendly. Prices were great as well, and they are a BYOB establishment. Cant ask for more. Give them a go, you wont be disappointed. MAKE A RESERVATION.....

We've been to Rare on several occasions and each time it's better than the last. The service is exceptional, they really make you feel like family. The atmosphere is so cozy and the food is consistently delicious.

Got the filet mignon & crab stuffed flounder. So good! Steak was massive. Really glad this place took over, everything was delicious & our server was great. Also don’t pass on the strawberry cheesecake for dessert it was incredible!

Stopped in for dinner with a group of 6 and had a great meal! BYOB which was great. Several people from our party ordered off the 3-course pre-set menu for $49 and they were not disappointed. Their steak was generous in size, well seasoned and cooked perfect. Our waiter, Brendan was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu offering great recommendations. He was attentive and very friendly. The atmosphere is cozy and pleasant. We would absolutely return and recommend Rare for a wonderful dinner.

Went to Rare Co. last night for the first time and wanted to leave a review because we all get into the habit of sharing the bad experiences and not the good ones. First off, all of the staff are super friendly, smiling and happy to help whether it's their table or another servers. Too many restaurants lately on LBI where you feel like the staff is doing you a favor by letting you eat there. It's a smaller place like many other restaurants in the area but does not feel crowded. great selection on the menu, everyone in our party loved the food, from apps to dinner everything came out fresh hot and the appropriate amount of time in between, not waiting forever like some places that overbook and not shoved down your throat like they are trying to rush you out the door to seat another party. The food was great and the bill was reasonable, we will definitely go back soon, thanks to the staff there!

Perfect Friday night dinner. The dining room is beautifully lite with tiny lights making it a beautiful place to dine and relax. I ordered from the prix fixe dinner menu - soup, appetizer, New York strip steak with blue cheese topping and baked potato all for under $50.
Can't wait to go back.

Expensive, yes, but food was absolutely fantastic! Worth every penny. Staff, lovely and attentive. Atmosphere, quaint. Never mind paying when the experience is worth it!

I came in with my family of six and we were seated promptly by a super friendly host. Our appetizers were great but the star of the show was our entrees. The steak was tender and the seafood definitely tasted fresh. We ended our night with espresso and a dessert and to top it all off the service was great. Owners were present and super friendly with our table. I couldn’t recommend Rare more!

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner. We have been wanting to get here for a while & it didn’t disappoint-everything was great.

Clams, crab fritter, steak crostini
Peppered crust strip steak cooked to perfection med/rare & the halibut. All four of us enjoyed our dinner.
BYOB

This is a wonderful small place and rare to find a great straight up restaurant on LBI! Food and service is very good with friendly relaxed atmosphere. There's no artificial hype that is typical of so much of the Beach Haven restaurant scene and in comparison, you actually get your money's worth. Everything is truly homemade and cooked to order. BYOB since they don't serve alcohol.

The service was excellent, the food was absolutely amazing, and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend giving them a try, guaranteed you’ll love it and be back for more

We had amazing steaks and seafood. I think the steak was best on the island. Staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back!

This was the best meal we have had in a long time! Jared, our waiter, was fast and very personable. We ordered the asparagus appetizer, and filets with green beans and garlic mashed. The food came out piping hot and the steaks were cooked perfectly. For a mom of two small children who hasn’t had a good hot meal from a restaurant in a hot minute, I cannot say enough about our experience! We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommended.

We had a really good meal here. We were a party of 10 and have been here previously when it was the Greenhouse so we had big expectations coming in to eat. They were met! Salads were quite large and can be shared. We had 2 vegetarians in the party and there were choices for them (eggplant and a pasta primavera). My husband had the stuffed chicken and he said it was REALLY delicious!
Our steak eaters said their food was very good. Food is fresh, many options to eat and the waitstaff is very attentive and we will most definitely be back.

The kind staff and delicious food at Rare Co are unmatched and a force to be reckon with on LBI. The perfect addition to our little town and I can’t wait to share this dining experience with others who visit.

Everything was portioned and seasoned perfectly, not to mention appropriate pricing for a fabulous meal for a family night out.

Siobhan was a kind, quick and attentive server and I am grateful to the entire staff for their hard work during the start busy season.
