I recently visited and was thoroughly impressed. The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere. The decor is modern and stylish, making it a pleasant place to relax or get some work done. Their cappuccino is top-notch, with a perfect balance of rich espresso and creamy froth. There's also plenty of space with comfortable seating arrangements, making it an ideal spot for working. Overall, a fantastic experience and a great place to enjoy quality coffee. Highly recommend!

My daughter & I stumbled upon Margaux on a recent visit to Pittsburgh where we stayed a few blocks away. Loved everything about it. The neon signs, the plants, the vibe. Super friendly staff that didn’t mind chatting about coffee, the quiche & avocado toast were brilliant, and we had some really wonderful cappuccinos. Cannot wait to come back again. Fantastic place.

Met up with my sister for a late night drink on a Saturday night. Such a great spot! The ambience was fantastic- it was cozy but modern and a wonderful spot to catch up over drinks. Music isn’t too loud and it was fairly busy Saturday night but not overwhelming and we easily found a seat.

Their small bites are good too. The charcuterie board is the perfect amount to share between two and the drinks are always so creative and beautifully presented. Definitely coming back!

What a stunnnnnnning coffee shop/cafe!!! Loved the historic building, stunning natural light soaked lounge area, plants & allll the vibes! Seriously, beautiful! We stopped in for an oat milk latte and it was out of this work! Perfectly frothed, creamy & strong espresso! So happy we stopped in here! It was such a vibe & the best coffee! ☕

Good drinks and good vibes. Margaux is a nice addition to the East Liberty area! I got a matcha latte and it was delicious. My husband got a draft beer. Not sure why they put it in a wine glass but it made him feel fancy. The place is filled plants and beautiful modern artwork.

This was a super nice place. Friendly people, very clean, welcoming. I can be a picky eater and I really enjoyed their coffee and breakfast sandwich. They do put a pepper jam on it and I wasn’t a huge fan but I ate it. My husband didn’t like the jam at all. If you’re hesitant, ask for jam on the side. Other than that it was great food in a great atmosphere.

I just wanted to tell you that my wife and I had a delightful time last night getting coffee and dessert. I brought my wife here for a pre-birthday dessert celebration, and it was exquisite. We love finding places that have late night coffee and dessert, so this was a perfect place. We got the chocolate sponge cake with raspberry sauce, and it was excellent. I was also super excited that you have decaf espresso drinks. I love all the artwork on your walls and the comfortable couches are A great place to relax after a long day. The server was very friendly and helpful and we had a wonderful experience. thank you so much for offering late night coffee and desserts. We will definitely be back for more. See you again soon! I liked the vibe of here and the taste of the coffee ! Also it’s not a small cafe so it has a lot of space which is very good.

This place is such a gem. It's one of the rare spaces that successfully pulls off any time of day. You can come for your morning coffee, an afternoon bite, or an evening cocktail. I love all the greenery and the well-lit atmosphere. The baristas are all super-friendly and really know coffee. They're willing to answer questions if you want to learn more about what's on offer or increase your coffee skills.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and decor. The food and our drinks were great too. Staff was attentive and friendly.

Nice bar and coffee shop. Definitely outclasses parts of the neighborhood. We met the owner while sitting at the bar. Very friendly. I know this is odd, but they really take good care of the plants inside. They look great. I appreciate that commitment to detail.

Lovely Vibe. Crazy that a cup of decaf coffee is $7 these days. Why not have decaf drip so we can get a refill? But great place to work with lots of natural light. Considering it a WiFi charge 😜

Talk about a vibe. This place is located in a historically disenfranchised community of Pittsburgh, often seeing businesses come and go and really only held together by long term staple cultural institutions like The Kelly Strayhorn Theater and Allies for Health + Wellbeing all on this block. Margaux has an extremely edgy look on the outside, but friendly enough to be inviting to a younger generation of people coming into Pittsburgh and looking for a new place to live. I write a lot just to say that I hope that Margaux stays for along time. This is a well deserved opening after this venue has sat empty for years, now offering an absolutely gorgeous setting and easily accessible to the public.

The cocktail offerings are unique and steady - you will surely be satisfied but still get to try something new by stopping in to this place. I did not get to try the food and will surely be coming back to do so!

The art in the space is all locally crafted and belongs to a private collection of the company owner. One day I hope that they consider putting @alsobrogan up on theirs walls to join the likes of local American painters from southwestern Pennsylvania. You are doing yourself a favor by asking them to tell you about the artists, so don't hesitate to let the experts share the information with you.

Everything was exceptionally delicious and flavorful (and that’s a lot coming from me).
My only want would be at least gluten-free bread options for my partner.

So the coffee is variable, sometimes is great sometimes only very good, at least espresso and cappuccino s. I like their brunch menu I feel they are also improving it often

This is a delightful place for drinks and a snack. The food menu is somewhat restricted right now due to COVID and proximity to Thanksgiving, but the drinks are really good! The bar staff is knowledgeable, creative, and willing to improvise. Two different bartenders created two improvised drinks for me based on other drinks that I said I enjoyed, and I really liked what they made for me! I wish that there was more selection available, and hopefully that will change soon.

Fun coffee shop, spacious interior and very clean. Staff are super happy and enjoy talking about the various beans for sale. I have not tried any tea here. The breakfast toasts and croissants are delicious.

I’ve been here twice. Once for coffee and once for their late night menu. It’s an adorable shop with comfortable seating. Staff is friendly and attentive. The best item is the caramel apple tartelette. Look how beautiful it is!! (I got it to go so the plating is much better in store I’m sure). The apple filling is soft but not mushy with a little bit of a crunch. The mousse is delightfully light and fragrant. The bonne vivante is quite a refreshing drink but too sweet for me. I’d be interested in trying their other cocktails as well.

Stopped in with my wife for some snacks and drinks. Really cool spot, nice atmosphere, with alot of really cool art hanging all over the place. We order the chorizo croquettes, a charcuterie board and an order fo the spicy nuts. First, the nuts, roasted and very well seasoned, and it's not a small little cup of nuts, it's a decent sized bowl, for the price they charge($6) I was expecting a 1/4 of the portion we got, solid deal. The croquettes were damn good, charcuterie board, great selection of quality meats and some really good pickled veggies, they had little pickled cherry tomatoes on there. Solid meal and experience, definitely gonna stop back in.
