745 Osteria

I have now gone to 745 Osteria a few times and every time it gets better and better! From when you first walk in and are greeted by the hostess to when you are finishing your dessert, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. We never have to wait for water or drinks and the food comes out in a perfectly timed manner. I have tried a few different dishes there now, but I always love getting the bread service. Every time it exceeds my expectations. I will be back again and again for the great atmosphere, service, food and will be recommending to EVERYONE!!!

I grew up in New Haven eating New Haven pizza. This restaurant gives all the New Haven pizzeria's a run for their money. This restaurant gives you the classic style meals with the feeling of trying them for the first time. Beautiful atmosphere, wonderful staff, what more can you ask for.

This is my new favorite place! So glad there’s finally some good Italian food in Old Saybrook! The patio is awesome. After eating, my girlfriends and I had drinks by the fire pit for another two hours, because the servers were SO attentive and fun. I could eat the beet salad and the Genovese pizza every single day! This place is definitely the Shoreline’s newest hotspot.

This was our first time dining at 745 Osteria. They were quite busy at 6:30 on a Saturday night but we managed to get right in and sat at the bar, which is our preferred seating area. The bartender, Marylyn, was very very pleasant and her service was outstanding. We had old Fashioneds that were perfect. For an appetizer we ordered the 745 Bread Service which included 3 different homemade breads and was delicious. Our entrees were the Chicken Parmigiana and the Rigatoni Bolognese and both were spectacular. There are many great places to eat in Old Saybrook and 745 Osteria is the newest one on the list. We highly recommend this new Eatery in town.

The atmosphere is excellent, the staff is attentive, and of course, the food is incredible. If you’re in the mood for authentic Italian food, look no further than 745 Osteria.

Went with friends to celebrate birthdays and we were very pleasantly surprised. Atmosphere was nice, minimalist and comfortable; not pretentious. The staff members were amazing and accommodating, but the food was wonderful. There were many traditional Italian favorites on the menu, but with a modern twist, which was refreshing. This is a wonderful place with more authentically Italian portions that leave you satisfied without feeling stuffed. I can't wait to come back!

I recently visited Osteria 745 and was blown away by the amazing food and charming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my dining experience was top-notch from start to finish. The menu had a great selection of dishes to choose from, and everything I tried was absolutely delicious. From the appetizers to the entrees to the desserts, every dish was full of flavor and expertly prepared. I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but had to for 745 Osteria. The vibe is incredible, food is amazing, and staff is on point. Started the evening with espresso martinis by the fire pit. Bread service appetizer is an absolute necessity and anything with Silvio’s sauce will not disappoint. Ended the night with an affogato (gelato topped with espresso) and will certainly be back soon.

Amazing food and great service. Authentic Italian taste. If you want familiar but delicious Italian foods and don't want to cook or go to grandma's go here and they can't miss.

Great place, really good service. Drink was lacking alchohol and meatballs rated bland. Our meals were really good in taste n portion. Dessert was amazing

I LOVE going to 745 Osteria. The atmosphere is great and makes it so we never want to leave! The food is always beyond amazing and the staff always take such good care of us. Last time we went we ordered the affogato after dinner and had it around the firepit. Even though we had finished the staff kept checking on us to see if we needed anything else. We will be returning for sure!

Went on opening night and what a beautiful place and great location. The atmosphere is elegant and makes you want to just stay and relax after your meal. Can't say enough good things about the food. We had the Genovese pizza and it was fabulous. We will definitely be going back again (especially to hang out by the fire pit with a tiramisu)!!!

What an amazing dining experience!! My family and I visited 745 Osteria on Sunday and ordered an array of appetizers and pizzas.We loved every bite of it! The food was authentic and delicious. Our server was awesome, professional and courteous. She kept checking in with us and made sure everyone was happy. The restaurant is beautiful with a relaxing vibe. If you love true Italian food then this is the place to visit.

Tried 745 a few weeks ago and came back this week. Have been amazed every time. The food is so fresh, the servers are so nice, polite and quick and the atmosphere makes you want to stay. I'll be back weekly and want to try EVERY menu item. Tried the scallops today and they are quite possible the greatest thing I've ever eaten!!! Can't wait for next week!!!

Buonissimo!! An authentic Italian dining experience you will not forget. The napolitano salsiccia pizza is a home run! I am looking forward to my next trip.

745 Osteria has become one of our go-to places to eat! The food is out of this world. The first time we went I got the Gnocchi and every time I look at the menu I debate trying something new because of how good it was! I always fight the urge and try something new on the menu or one of their specials. The servers are all very knowledgeable and their recommendations have yet to let me down! The owner even came out to check how our meal was going and we learned that not only is their food delicious at 745 Osteria, but he has a line of sauce that you can buy their or in stores which we are looking forward to trying. Overall an amazing eatery with great food and service. We cant wait to be going back VERY soon!

We had a lovely dining experience last night at 745 Osteria. We had a large party and did a family style dinner, which worked perfectly for us. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly fresh and tasty. The service was spectacular and the ambiance as well. What a fantastic new addition to Old Saybrook. Can't wait to go back again!

First of all, this was ABSOLUTELY an amazing time! I see so many negative review and I saw IGNORE them! This place was spectacular. PLEASE try it. The food that I had was delicious and I was not charged for ice like these other reviews are saying! I would give this place and 10 if I could! I was treated with such kindness and care that I felt like I was back at my grandma's house. This food reminds me of my nonna's amazing cooking. True Italian cuisine here! It is worth every penny and dime! PLEASE TRY!!!!!!!

What an amazing place! I love it! The food was spectacular and the interior was beautiful. It was very spaced out and you could smell the delicious food being cooked! I can not wait for another chance to eat here! Would recommend strongly! These people are doing something right!

5 stars across the board. This was my first time at 745 Osteria, and will not be the last. The Food was absolutely amazing, the waitstaff and bartenders were quick, efficient and extremely friendly. Shaileen, is the best! She went above and beyond for us.
